I hate to give a local business a bad rating but the experience here was just not good in any aspect. My mom came to visit for a few hours (it's about an hour drive between our homes) so after being here after a bit she was a bit hungry. She wanted Vietnamese food but I didn't know a place. We couldn't settle on a place through searching but I remembered a place that I pass often and have a bit of curiosity about. After searching, turns out it was a Thai/Chinese food place. She agreed and we went. Walking in there was a sign stating the need for servers (keep that in mind). The decor was what you'd expect from an old school mom and pops place. It was small and homey. The place was busy. There was a large party, a smaller party, a couple at the ordering counter and some stragglers coming in and out. For everyone there was only one server. The couple in front of us ordered then the server left to try to balance between the service counter and the tables. She came back but rather quickly but we told her we would take a minute. The menu here is rather large. When she came back, my mom attempted to explain she was looking for something similar to a Vietnamese vermicelli dish, the server just said "this is a Thai place". Well duh ma'am but we're asking for recommendations. I chalk it up to how busy the place was and maybe she was frazzed...still tho :/ But we moved on. My mom ordered a curry plate with pork (comes with rice) and an order of egg rolls and I got drunken noodles. Being that there were so many people, she said it would take around 20 minutes. We decided to wait and it did take around that amount of time. The food did come out hot though. I only live about 9 minutes away so getting home it was still hot. That's the only positive about the food. Opening the container for my noodles I noticed the noodles were in huge sticky clumps. I make a lot of Asian cuisine and that tells me the cooking method wasn't performed properly. From soaking the rice noodles long enough to making sure the wok was hot enough to cook the noodles without allowing them to time to stick. Something was missed. My mom noticed there wasn't a lot of meat in her curry and that the meat that was there wasn't pork but chicken. I looked and noticed the same. But upon tasting not having a lot of meat was a blessing. Turns out it WAS pork. It was cut into very small slivers and so incredibly dry that it lost all pork like characteristics and become some unidentifiable meat like ingredient. It was so bad my mom just took the pieces out and poured the soup of the curry over the rice. Neither of us finished the food. It was so disappointingly unappetizing after a few bites we just left it sitting. We both agreed it wasn't worth the almost $40. I apologized to her for recommending the place and for her spending her money. Needless to say I won't be back here. I hate to be so harsh to a local business so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1; but this place is bad. read more

I think this is bs they got such low rating they are affordable, fast and delicious. They make the best pepper steak and pad thai I have ever had. I love the pad thai because it does not have an unpleasant fishy taste or smell most pad thai has so I love it. The owner is my favorite part she is so beyond incredibly nice and makes you feel so welcome. I hope that more people come here to eat and get the right thing so they can see this place is really good. Also they have good cheese rolls, egg rolls,pork dumplings and egg drop soup. I understand the restaurant looks older and dated but it doesnt matter cos they are clean and friendly and great cooks. I would recommend or bring people to try it I love this place and hope stays around for long time. read more

When this restaurant moved from the previous location, the food wasn't as good as it was before. Yet now after a couple of years it's back up to its great quality of food and service again. I'm so happy I can rely on my Thai Thai deliciousness again. I recommend everyone come try it out again. Its wonderful! read more

Because of their 4+ star ratings on other sites, we decided to order from this place from Door Dash last night. I should have looked here (Yelp) first. We ordered 2 spring rolls, chicken pad Thai, Shrimp pad Thai and sticky rice with mango. The spring rolls were ok, nothing special. Both pad thai's were pretty bad. The noodles were all stuck together, and the chicken was so dry. Tasted nothing like the pad Thai I'm used to. The sticky rice was so sticky, we had to cut it with a fork, and part of the rice were burned. The mango was sour. $68 down the drain. Never again. read more

We got food here for the first time tonight. $50 spent and everything was just....off. The "beef" was boiled (or something?) with a pink shiny hue to it (I am questioning if it was beef?) and nearly inedible it was so chewy, the Pad Thai "mild" was too spicy for my daughter to eat at all (and she's not spice sensitive), besides that it completely lacked flavor in general-besides being hot and the yellow coconut curry was....watered down and odd with huge chunks of weird peppers in it. It was completely devoid of the normal coconut creamy, saltiness like most places. Like everything is missing something and the flavors were not well rounded (more like there was not any flavor at all or it was just totally weird). I am so disappointed, as eating out once a weekend is a treat to my family and this food is so gross it's basically inedible and we are not picky :(. read more

Wholeheartedly do not recommend Thai Thai. We went with high expectations due to the previous reviewer here on yelp. The establishment looked like a typical outdated Chinese restaurant. We don't mind that, sometimes you find a gem like that. Sadly, this wasn't the case here. We ordered two orders of tofu spring rolls. They weren't totally bad, but they were warmed on the inside, like they'd just been microwaved. The "thick Thai peanut sauce" the previous reviewer mentioned was simply Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce with some crumbled peanuts in it, and maybe a tiny bit of fish sauce. I got an order of tofu pad Thai and my husband got a beef pad Thai ($2 extra for beef). My pad Thai was okay, it but didn't have that signature pad Thai flavor, and didn't fulfill my PadThai craving. I noticed my pad Thai-loving husband was kind of toying with his beef and noodles and not eating. He then said to me "something's not right with this beef". The beef had a pinkish hue and a bouncy texture. I tried a piece. Nothing about it tasted or felt like a piece of beef. It was chewy, bouncy, and tasted sour. We were too nice to say anything but he couldn't eat it. We left the restaurant wondering if they'd just served us a different type of meat. Seriously, we were googling it, and it's quite disturbing the similarities we found to "alternative" meats. All I know is that it did not taste nor feel like beef. And for the benefit of the doubt, if it WAS beef, what part of the cow was it?! And it was definitely spoiled. Never again. read more
