The Egg Rolls were light and crispy stuffed with glass noodle and pork veggies. Sooooo tasty. A must try! The spring rolls were fresh and tasty. Another must try! The pad Thai...when it first arrived looked watery. It was anything but! Spicy and delicious. I just can't begin to describe this experience. We really really enjoyed it. Service was pleasant and attentive.

They name everything weird, off the Thai standards, so if you order pineapple fried rice, you actually get "stir fried pineapple, with rice" and "pad kee mao", an extremely common noodle dish, arrives as "kee mao," a rice dish. They make no effort to try to clarify, understand, or making things rice. And the food is fine and overpriced. There are way better thai places in town, with far better service. Go there, please. If you're going to charge $20 for a rice dish, at least try to get it right and stand by your product.

The staff was just as lovely, super sweet with plenty of personality. I made it just in time for the lunch special and ordered the salt and pepper shrimp with the kale Caesar. Absolutely delicious! I especially appreciated that they actually massage their kale because so many places skip that step, and it makes such a difference. The fried capers were a great touch, adding a nice little salty crunch. The shrimp were cooked perfectly with a beautifully crispy exterior, and the combination of peppers, onions, and scallions complemented them so well. Everything was flavorful, balanced, and really well executed. And for $18?! Honestly, a steal for the quality of food. I came in with high hopes and left thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend!

I would never leave a five star review only off of ambiance... The food here is absolutely AMAZING! Best soup dumplings in the US, period. I hate to think people will assume I am overselling, but the truffle fried rice is also a 10/10; it's cooked perfectly every time. The vast majority of the dishes are delicious and surprising; from Har Gow, to Beef chow fun, and sea cucumber dumplings. All this to say, Qi is in my top 3 Asian restaurants in Austin. And I have been to MANY. The only thing I don't absolutely love is the service, all of the waiters are friendly though. The last time I was there, they brought out a fun dessert tasting plate for a birthday, which was definitely an unexpected highlight!
