I found this restaurant in yelp search and visited there for dinner with my girlfriend. The interior looked fascinating which may give you feel briefly that your are not in Arlington but in Thailand. The waitress came and greet us and took our order quickly. My girlfriend was well aware of Thai food quickly ordered Crispy Basil Duck going through menu less than a minute, which was fried duck breast meat. I am still rookie in Thai cuisine although I had fried rice and pad thai in Thai restaurants before. I took a while to go through a menu and finally decided not to adventure and ordered common Shrimp fried rice. It took close to 30 mins for our food to get to the table which was not bad since we were here for evening dinner and not in rush. The waitress came and check us twice smilingly. My shrimp fried rice was perfectly cooked, less greasy and very delicious. My wife also talked high about her Basil Duck. We left Thai Texas happy thus we rating them 5/5.:) read more

After a search for Thai cuisine in close proximity to my daily route to\from work I decided to stop in Thai Texas and get take-out. I ordered the Pad See Ew with level 1 spice. It was a pleasant surprise that the level 1 spice had a little kick because in most instances a level 1 does not provide any spice at all to my palette. The chicken was well-seasoned but I would've liked more seasoning on the broccoli. The sauce was also very tasty. Overall, the service was friendly and the meal was delicious so I will definitely be returning back to Thai Texas. read more

Worst restaurant in Arlington! No one works here ! Just all in their phones and jacking around! The food sucks! How can you serve watered down curry? Chicken was so old my wife and father in law got food poisoning last night! I have been here 15 times and every time it has been a problem! Not any more I am done with this place forever now! So happy this place opened. I had never really had Thai food before, but I'm hooked. We've been ordering from Thai Texas once a week for the last several months. Everything we've had has been delicious. I alternate between the pad thai and the volcano chicken. Thai dumplings are excellent. I need to work my way thru the menu! This is probably one of the best thai restaurants in Dallas/Ft Worth. We order about once a week and drive about 20 minutes for this place. The volcano chicken is absolutely awesome!!! The food is consistently fresh and always made the same way. We can literally eat leftovers for 2 days from this restaurant. The place is small and has limited hours, but the price is average and the food is really good. I usually get the chicken fried thai rice and its quick to get in and get your food. Really wonderful Thai food. The one complaint I have is that they are always "too busy". About 3 hours before closing, they will stop taking orders. Hire more staff if you have to stop taking orders at 6pm. Awful. read more

So nothing major but it has happened on every order of food for 2 people. As far as consistency, I'm referring to things such as spice levels. I ordered a level 5 spice one time and it was decently spicy but nothing crazy. I ordered that same item another time with a spice level of 3 and could barely eat it because it felt like I was eating straight heat. The mistakes and inconsistencies haven't been enough to stop us from ordering though since we really do enjoy their food, and the portions are generous. I've been there in person once to pick up a replacement order after one of the errors b/c they don't have their own delivery drivers so there's no way to bring you the correct food order after the initial delivery. It was nice inside; appeared to be very clean with good ambiance. The girls at the counter were very nice and were quick to help get me my corrected order. I'd definitely recommend eating here but going in person may be best to ensure you get the right order.
