We came here just for an early night cap since we've been drinking. We had Thai Tea, Papaya Salad, and Mango Sticky rice which were all really good especially after an early start of debauchery. Service was prompt and the ambiance is just of a good old family owned Thai spot.

Went here on a whim after a few different bar stops. We ordered papaya salad, mango sticky rice and Thai tea to share just to wash down our sins before we end the night. ;) Promptly seated and greeted with a smile as soon as we walk in. It's a typical space with booths and tables and seems like this is a hit for families in the neighborhood. Our orders were fresh and full of flavors especially the papaya salad. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area.

Solid Thai, we enjoyed the Appetizers and entrees. Relaxed atmosphere and great service. Recommend checking out this place!

Clean nice Thai restaurant with really good service. The outside is nice and clean but we did feel like the front door was a bit unassuming...we kind of felt like when we opened it that we might be accidentally going in the side door. The inside is really nice and clean and the people working there were awesome! Very friendly and nice. All of our food was good. I wouldn't say it was the best thai food that I have had around but it was good and the ambiance and service were top notch. We will definitely being coming back.

The place was clean, booths were plentiful, and decor was a careful touch... complete with TV, if you wish. Service was quick, efficient, and very pleasant. They were careful to pre-bus, accommodated all our silly requests and were very helpful up to the end. The food was great, but the service alone is what makes me vote absolute yes to returning again. I hope that is always consistent! The food was good, leftovers are going to be just as good. Duck Curry, fried rice, and Tom Kha were very tasty. I also like that you could see inside the kitchen from the dining room. Overall, very pleasant experience for our first at this location.

I really enjoyed this place. Really near to authentic Thai food!!! I was a little disappointed with the fried shrimp cakes since it didn't look like the picture in their menu and it looked overdone but the flavor was there. However, the other entrees were on point. The Thai basil and the duck curry was amazing and the sticky rice was delicious. The staff here is also sweet and helpful so I definitely recommend this place!!!

Amazing Service and Amazing Food! This is hands down the most authentic tasing Thai food in the area. Thai Taste was definitely needed in the Roanoke/Trophy Club/Westlake area. I ordered my food for carry out and the gentleman that greeted me was so kind. The food was packaged perfectly and it was ready earlier than expected. When I got home, everything looked and tasted fresh! I ordered crab rangoon, egg rolls, salad rolls with tofu, orange chicken and lo mein. Everything was SO good! I would highly recommend the crab Rangoon and lo mein! I ordered a spice level 2 and it was the perfect amount of heat.

Just had a craving for Thai instead of going home and fixing chicken, so i decided to finally stop at Thai Taste and give them a try. I got my order to go which seems to be what everyone else has done this night. So I ordered my favorite Drunkin Noodles at spice level 3, this is how i order a spicy meal at a location that i have never been to before cause you never know how spicy their sauces are until you start eating. lol I was impressed with my selection and will be ordering there again in the future. Oh ya! I also got some Crab Rangoons and they were also good and stuffed to the max, maybe a little to stuffed but then again i was impressed.

We had a great fortune with orders from a competitor in the same general area so we thought we'd order take out from this place. The food was good --- a solid 4, perhaps a 3.5 for some entrees. Here's what we ordered: Grilled Beef Salad, Vietnamese Spring Roll (2), Crab Rangoon, Tom Kha Large, Orange Chicken, Lemongrass Herbal Chicken, Fried Ice Cream and Fried Banana. Cost: $89.74.

Was happy to see a new(er) option in Roanoke that offers steak, and more specifically prime rib! I wasn't hungry enough for the prime rib when we stopped in, so I opted for the prime rib sandwich with fries. My wife had a tenderloin with veggies and potatoes. My prime rib was pretty good, perhaps more cheese would make it better, but overall the meat had good flavor and the roll was not soggy. My wife said the tenderloin was good and cooked to order (medium rare). Size was appropriate too. The sides were good too. Service was attentive and professional. They have large screen TVs throughout the location and a pretty large bar as well. Overall, I think this is the perfect balance between upscale dining and sport bar, especially on this strip of restaurants. I'd like to come back to try the prime rib sometime soon!

Should've done a side-by-side, but it was only me. Lol. The fish was exquisite. The heat was also good. But I am from out of town and was alone, so I ate it all there. They don't have WiFi, but there was some "guest Frontier" WiFi that was good for an hour. (And you can refresh it each hour.) All the food was on the expensive side, but I heard it was good, so I didn't mine. One of the first thing I noticed was the entrees do not come with rice. There is a $1 up charge for white rice and $3 for fried rice, $5 for noodles. I have never experienced a Chinese restaurant that charged for white rice with an entree (not even PF Chang). I arrived 10 minutes after the time I was told my food would be ready. I checked in at the register and was told it would be another 5 minutes. I was told to have a seat and wait. Since there is no place to sit when waiting for a take out order, I sat down in the closet booth next to the register. After about 1 minute, a very rude lady came over in broken English and screamed that I could not sit there. I told her I was waiting on a to-go order and she just kept screaming "you don't can sit there", so I got up and stood by the front door. If my food had not already been paid for, I would have left after that rude encounter. The ambiance of the restaurant is very strange as they had a boombox loudly playing 80s music. It was so load, I felt bad for the customers who were eating at there. No way you could enjoy siting there listening to the annoying loud music while you ate. About 5 minutes later (15 minutes past the time they originally told me it would be ready) my food was ready. The food did come out very hot. I retrieved my food and took it home to enjoy. Overall the food is very basic and not worth the elevated price. The egg rolls were over fried and greasy. The spicy wonton were very bland and not spicy at all. The general Tso chicken was not good. Very small pieces of chicken, over breaded and a bland sauce. Again not spicy at all. The fried flat rice noodles were the biggest disappointment. Mushy noodles that were all stuck together. Not good at all. Overall the Noodle Works was a big disappointment. There are so many better option in the area (Dragon House or the Wok). Do yourself a favor and skip the rude staff Noodle Works.

Rather than focus on that, I wanted to see how the food held up on this visit. We started with the Wagyu Beef Dumplings, and they were one of the best dishes of the night. The filling was juicy and flavorful with a nice balance of Wagyu beef, ginger, onions, cabbage, and scallions. The wrapper wasn't too thick, allowing the filling to be the star. The Stir-Fried Hand-Pulled Noodles were easily my favorite dish. The fresh noodles had the perfect chewy texture and were tossed with vegetables in a savory soy sauce that coated every noodle perfectly. It's a simple dish executed extremely well. We also ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice. The fried rice itself was excellent--well-seasoned, fluffy, and flavorful. My only criticism is that the chicken lacked seasoning and didn't stand out the way the rice did. If I ordered it again, I'd probably choose beef instead. Based on this visit, I'd absolutely recommend ordering the hand-pulled noodles and Wagyu dumplings. Those two dishes alone made the trip worthwhile, and I'll be back to continue exploring the menu.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

However, despite that overlook on my part, the food definitely did not disappoint! We had an amazing server. She was easily available , quick, and accommodating. My friend had some dietary restrictions and she was quick to ask about them, and make needed modifications without any issue. Extremely kind, and fun to be around, she had some great suggestions for items on the menu. The environment was definitely more relaxed, however, the pace was definitely picking up when we left. As I mentioned we were there right before people seem to be getting out of work, and it seemed like a lot of people are making their way and to enjoy an evening meal or happy hour. We easily got a spot in front, however, if there happens not to be any available, there's lots of parking behind Lush on the opposite side of the road. The restaurant was fairly quiet, but it was a Sunday lunch when they just opened. I ordered the Thai iced coffee and was not disappointed. We then ordered the spring rolls and Tom Kha. We also decided to take a chance on the Thai dumplings. The waiter brought out a small side salad while we waited for our entrées, which was very good. The dressing was like a Tom Yum sauce and had a nice spicy flavor. The spring rolls arrived, cut into four equal pieces with a lovely peanut sauce. Interestingly, the spring rolls did not have any vermicelli, but instead had plenty of crispy vegetables that paired nicely with the fresh shrimp and the nicely spiced peanut sauce. The Tom Kah was very good and was loaded with chicken, mushrooms and red onion. This was one of the better Tom Khas I have had. The Thai dumplings were also very good, and are like your typical dim sum. We thought for the quality of the food and the niceness of the restaurant that the price was fair.
