Crawfish fried rice
Titus V.

No customers in the restaurant on a Saturday.... I guess it's not a good sign. Ordered crawfish fried rice and the filet and chicken Hibachi combo. The price wasn't bad but there's a reason for the price. The fried rice barely had crawfish, no veggies and tasted bland. Hibachi was ok. Won't be going back.

Love this place, been coming here since 2019. Although their portion size and fried rice went downhill. The fried rice is pretty much white rice now, barely any flavor or egg. Rice is just white rice that they charge you extra for. Every time I come it gets whiter.

This his an amazing gem in Trophy club on the frontage road off 114. They have hand roles, fresh sushi, bento, poke bowls, teriyaki and a massive list of roles. We were seated quickly. They have a great happy hour menu. The wine list is elaborate and a full bar. I didn't try and sake but I will when I return. The food is delicious. The rocky shims is popcorn shrimp but a tempura batter. Mom wasn't sure about the spicy sauce so she had it on the side. It's not hot spicy so get it on top. My husband ate it quickly and loved every bite. I love sushi but the pork gyoza were my favorite. They are so savory and just perfect combo of meat and veggies I ate every one. Seaweed salad is really good but they have a twist there are cucumbers on the bottom and it's a perfect crunch. It's unexpected and very inspired. If you need a girls night or a special date or a lunch meeting in Trophy club I highly recommend them. The atmosphere is authentic and well maintained. They had a ship on the wall which my son had to get a picture of. I did not get my servers name but she was excellent. Drop by and let me know how much you love it.

We went there for Sunday lunch. Not crowded! Food was great. Service was ok. It was a young waiter. He never brought the beer my husband ordered. Other than that it was great!

Hibachi beef

For $10 the hibachi beef was absolutely amazing. The beef was perfectly salty, very tender and cooked to absolute perfection. I was genuinely surprised when this tasted as good as it did. The white rice was fluffy, soft and perfectly cooked. The vegetables that came with the meal could have been a little bit more chard. Other than that, my only complaint and reason for this to not be 10*5 stars excuse me. Was because the salad that came beforehand was simply just a bagged salad with a vinegar salad dressing on top. This was probably some of the best food I had this week. I will definitely be coming back, and I will be excited to try the sushi next time! Thank you for having me. I am looking forward to next time.

Shrimp tempura

We had a great Friday night sushi dinner at Fish and Knife. When we walked in we were greeted immediately as we walked in. The ambiance here is is very nice. I really liked the mood lighting and how tables and the white accent branches were laid out. It felt very contemporary for a sushi place. Angel was our server, who really took care of us. She was very quick with the menu and taking out order as well as drink refills. As for the sushi, it was great! We ordered the yellowtail jalapeño and shrimp tempura for appetizers. They were both very good. For the main meal we ordered the dinner sushi for two. This is in the back of the menu, if I don't have the title right. This came with miso soup and a salad. The salad had a very sweet clear dressing that tasted very unique and good. The miso soup was just your average miso soup. The sushi was chef's choice with an eel role of some sort. The sushi and sashimi were cut perfectly and tasted very fresh. The meal was just right amount of food for the both of us. We left full and happy as you should be want to do after eating at a Japanese restaurant. Hopefully one day they might expand their menu out to ramen or some takoyaki, but really they don't have to. (This is just a suggestion.) Overall We really enjoyed our experience here, and will come back.

Ahi SD6. Ahi Tuna Tower

First time going here and it is extremely over priced. I got the tuna tower and it was TINY, ridiculous for it being $18 with tax. Every tuna tower I have ever gotten at other places were huge and honestly worth the $15 you pay for it. Wouldn't recommend.

Happy hour menu

We were hungry for something healthy and close by. We chose Fish and Knife and were so pleased with our lunches. We both had hibachi meals. The meals were cooked in the back and delivered to us. This is a family run restaurant, which is so nice, and the food and service were excellent!

The sushi was ok, wasn't too impressed with it. The hibachi steak was cooked great and the veggies were seasoned just right.

Tabitha and the team were awesome! We had a party of 6 (18% auto tip for 6+) for the 4 for $44 July…read morespecial. It was very busy on a Thursday night at 6:15. The room /restaurant is dark. Delicious! I didn't get a picture of the pork chop bites on the 4 for $44- 2 skewers in a zippy applesauce - lovely. The salmon my daughter thought was great+ the pear salad. She almost thought she could have just done the salmon over the salad!! Would recommend!! Would absolutely suggest recommendations.

Went here on a Monday for the first time and tried their famous tender pork chop. Was a bit…read moreskeptical about pork chops when I ordered them coz they are either dry or not tender or both. Hubby and I split the pork chop (thank goodness coz one order is good for 2. We also split the filet mignon since we want to taste both. The pork chop was splendid. It was the best pork chop I've ever had in my life. Was told it has been in the smoker for at least 6 hours that's why it came out juicy, tender and flavorful. It came with apple sauce but I didn't even bother having it so I could taste the real flavors of the pork chop. Didn't care much for the filet mignon since the pork chop became the star. Tho it was also good and well seasoned. For sides we ordered grilled asparagus and the Truffle Potato Wedges which were huge wedges, so it's only 6 pieces. Nonetheless they were good and crispy. The sides were ordered separately; it didn't come with the entrees. Our server Bryce was nice and responsive --he just needs to speak a bit louder and clearer so we can hear him. Other than that we're happy with his service. The vibe that evening was cozy (came in at 5pm) until 6 pm came and it was packed and got a bit loud. It was a bit pricey and we realized we didn't need that big portion of the pork chop for one order. We just had to go on Fridays because they have specials for lunches and the entrees came with the sides and costs much less compared to regular days. Browse the pictures of the menu I have attached for you to see the price. Our bill was a little over $150 just for me and my hubby. We'll be back but this time on a Friday for their specials.

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

As soon as I sat down, the bartender promptly provided me with the menu. Unfortunately, service was inconsistent. Although she had passed me several times, the bartender failed to take my beverage and food order. Eventually, she realized I had nothing to drink nor eat. She asked if I was ready to order in the manner as I had been asked that question already. When I ordered the Italian Beef Dip, I went with the ciabatta over the focaccia as it was recommended by the bartender. The customer near me strongly agreed. Once I dipped the sandwich in the au jus, I understood their recommendations. The bread held well after it was dipped; the focaccia may not have done as well. Because the au jus was very salty, I ended the majority of the sandwich without it. On the way to the restroom, I noticed a large puddle down the hall. The small group of waitresses nearby were too busy chitchatting to notice. After a couple of attempts, I was successful in informing one of them.
