I been struggling with a knot on my left shoulder I was really hoping the lady would have paid more attention to it especially when I mentioned it 4x. I felt like during the deep tissue massage she wasn't actually massaging me but squeezing all the tension instead of unraveling/massaging out the tension/knots. PLUS she stepped on my back longer than she massage it smh... I still tipped her $20 for letting me know about my shoulder imbalance. This is THAI MASSAGE meaning they beat you up, but you go there for that! They offer Thai massage, Swedish massage, a combo of both, and hot stone massage. Pains me to write a negative review cause this place used to be really good , but the last two times were terrible. I booked an appointment at 5:30 on Monday and I asked for deep tissue . My masseuse was being extremely rough and so I asked if she could please apply less pressure as she was hurting me . She then sighed / scoffed , and said "I thought you wanted deep tissue " You could tell she was super irritated which I don't know why . I've had other masseuses that ask me do I want light , medium or hard pressure and to tell them if they're too hard . You can still do a deep tissue massage with medium to light pressure . She then went from being rough to barley any pressure at all but I was scared to say anything else since she was already acting irritated. I also enjoy listening to the music they play but it was so low I could barley hear it and could here people talking in the other room which also took from the experience: I felt her kneading like with the Swedish technique which is literally not what I asked for . In addition , she literally wasn't massaging any of the tense areas I mentioned . She was stretching my arm aggressively and kept saying relax relax like a demand . There was nothing relaxing at all and I felt super uncomfortable. I had booked an hour but due to her hostility , and inibaility to target my areas of pain, I respectfully told her I would like the 30 min instead of the 60 mins . She sighed again and said "but you booked for the hour , if you do 30 mins there's only 5 mins left " to which I said was fine . She then told me I would still have to pay for the hour because that's what I booked which I informed her is incorrect. I've had chronic pain for years and I was in so much pain which is why I booked the massage . If she wasn't being so rude and aggressive I would have done the hour plus a generous tip as always . Finally I go to pay, where she tells me again to pay full price for the 60 min . I told her i would not as I just did 30. She said again "but you booked the 60 , we had people trying to make appointments but they couldn't cause YOU took the time slot and we had to deny them . I then explained that I felt her comment / attitude was rude and she was not targeting my areas of pain or doing the deep tissue technique. She kept being agrumentative with me instead of apologizing for my experience . And kept sighing and shaking her head . Why should I feel guilty for not wanting to pay 60 dollars for a terrible massage and service ? I understand everyone has different techniques but to be so blantaly rude and not even target any areas I mentioned is unacceptable. Even after everything I still gave a $5 tip for her time . I think she was the same masseuse from last time which was so rough that I actually was sore for days after and got a headache after my massage . I tried to give it another chance cause there is a couple masseuses that we're good but idk what happened to them . :( I honestly wish I could just get my money back because $45 is a lot for someone to pay and have such a terrible experience/ service Otherwise , Thinking of doing a chargeback for the payment since it's not right . Heads Up: They have an outfit that you change into because they don't want their oils messing up your clothes. I think that's a great touch to the services! Service: I called in at 6:45 asking if there was an 7:00 opening and luckily there was! I sped over because I had an exhausting weekend and my body wasn't cooperating. I don't usually get a massage in the area so when I searched I noticed many of them were the foot massages where everyone was in one large room. I knew I wanted an individual room and Thai Relax offered that. They also offered many types of massages which was awesome. Before you begin they have you fill out a form that states where it hurts as well as where they should avoid touching. That's a feature I think most other places don't have. The massage itself was good. She worked out the knots I had and was attentive when I asked for modified strength/movements in certain places. I had a Thai massage 90' and my wife got a Thai -Swedish combo. Man. We both had a good time. We enjoyed so much we felt guilty for being worked on that long. At first, we filled out some forms on what we want, what we don't want, how much pressure we prefer, and what area they should concentrate. This would allow the masseur to know exactly how to work our bodies. I am strong man. I prefer hard pressure. I had some knot in my shoulder and necks. Taunya did not disappoint me. This Thai lady knew exactly where to apply the pressure and how untie those knots that i had. My wife also had a good time. She preferred as light as possible, as relaxing as it can be. As someone who's lived in Asia, I'm a big fan of a real Thai massage. The best ones combine a good massage to get rid of the kinks while moving you into a position to increase your mobility and flexibility. I can honestly say, Thai Relax offers one of the best I experienced in the world. I have a few overuse injuries from years of rock climbing, and Nee is able to work on those. I do tend to like a massage that is quite aggressive and physical, which she has been willing to do. My wife, on the other hand, tend to go to a massage for the relaxing factor. Amazing and friendly service with a super clean establishment. Took my bf here for his bday, I opted for the swedish massage since I wanted something on the softer side. My massage was incredibly relaxing and had just the right amount of pressure. My masseuse was very respectful and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. My bf on the other hand loves his massages extremelyyyyy deep and hard. He chose the deep tissue massage and opted to be stepped on lol. He had a nice little old lady who rocked his whole world, literally. He couldnt believe how strong she was, hes 6'3 and about 200 lbs and said hes never had anyone be able to get through to his muscles that hard. That massage is definately not for the weak so if you cant handle pain or you're more on the sensitive side choose another OPTION. But it was perfect for him. My right knee and right foot are in pain. The masseuse twisted my knee. To massage my outer thigh, she put the bottom of her foot on my outer thigh, grabbed my foot with her hand, and pulled my foot toward her. The knee is not supposed to bend in that direction. The knee is supposed to bend in one direction, not bend sideways. My knee cracked, and my inner knee hurts. She also hurt my right foot. I don't mind a masseuse stepping on the bottom of my foot, but she stepped on the side of my foot until it cracked. I have gotten Thai massages in Thailand, in the US, and in other countries. This has not happened to me before. I made sure she didn't twist my left knee or hurt my left foot. She almost hyperextended my elbows, but I made sure to bend my elbows and protect myself from getting my elbows damaged. read more

I tried Thai Relax out based on their great review and ratings. With every penny! The ladies we're very kind and accommodating even though I was 10 minutes late due to the rain. I chose the combination massage based on chronic neck pain and opted out of having the masseuse walk on my back, but the option is there if you want a more intense massage. The rooms are clean and you have the option of a shirt and shorts they provide if you're not comfortable undressing or don't want the oil on your clothes which I thought was very considerate. As soon as she touched me, she knew exactly what to work on and was communicative during the massage. I had no idea I was so tight in my calves! I went for some neck/shoulder relief and left with my entire body relaxed and feeling amazing. I would highly recommend to try them out. read more

Went today and was really impressed. Very neat and well kept front area, clean bathrooms, and the massage room was spacious and clean too. I arrived a little early and was seen right away. Didn't have to wait 10 mins once I was under the sheet too which was nice. Requested firm pressure and my masseuse went for it. Didn't know I was so tight! But it felt great. Really happy with the price and quality of the massages offered at Thai Relax! I made an appointment the evening before because I'd been having back pain for the previous few days. I paid $55 for 60 minutes deep tissue and came out feeling great. They have you fill out a form when you come in asking to mark areas you want the masseuse to focus on, and areas you want left alone. I indicated I'd been having back pain so my masseuse did some deep tissue work there and also massaged out the rest of my body.
