I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel people should know about my experience. Before booking my appointment, I called to explain that I wear a hijab and asked if they could accommodate me in a private room. They assured me that wouldn't be a problem, so I booked the massage. The body massage itself was okay. The therapist was professional, although she used much more pressure than I expected, even after I requested a medium-pressure massage. I actually woke up with bruising on the backs of my shoulders that are painful to touch. While that wasn't ideal, it wasn't the reason I'm writing this review. What happened during the foot massage was. After the body massage, I was taken to the shared foot massage area. While my therapist was massaging my legs, one of the male employees walked over, stopped, and stared at my legs. He then pointed toward my legs and made a gesture with his hands indicating "big" while signaling to another female employee. Whether he spoke or not, the gesture was obvious enough that I immediately felt like my body was being mocked. As someone who already trusted this business with my privacy and specifically requested accommodations because I wear a hijab, this experience was incredibly humiliating. No customer should ever feel judged, stared at, or made to feel self-conscious about their body while they're in a place that's supposed to help them relax. Today, I called hoping to speak with a manager so I could address the situation privately before leaving a public review. I was told there was no manager available, and the employee hung up on me. When I called back, my calls were ignored and sent straight to voicemail, where I wasn't even able to leave a message. The lack of professionalism, respect, and accountability was extremely disappointing. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and unheard. I won't be returning, and I hope the owners take customer concerns more seriously and ensure that every client is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their size or appearance. read more

The therapist are skilled. The value combo special is always great. Walking in for a session is mostly successful. Calling in is the guaranteed move. Escaping the hustle from everyday life for just 90 minutes is a great recharge. The atmosphere has me snoring in under ten minutes. Luckily the chair is comfy enough I can get the snoring turned off. Moving to the table the pressure is amazing and relaxing. They check in every so often. I'm usually asleep so my no response to pressure is an indicator of how I'm feeling. read more

My husband went in last week for the first time and loved it, so we both went in tonight. We had the $30 for a 30 minute foot massage and it was fantastic!! I didn't get the names of our masseuses, but I had a man and he had a woman. They put your feet in hot water and then start with a head massage which they don't use oil for. I like that as I hate getting oil in my hair. They then move on to face, neck and shoulder massages with oil. Then on to arm massages with oil as well. Then onto your feet and legs. Absolutely wonderful, the whole massage felt like more than 30 minutes. There was no pressure to tip as other reviewers have mentioned, but it's a given you should tip on a massage. I've been visiting this salon for several years now. I'm an easy going person and a good tipper. But the manager/owner of this facility told me to come in at 8pm when I called at 6pm. When I got there, she told me that I didn't make sure of my appointment and couldn't see me? She was rude about it too. No apology just arrogance. What a shame. Wasn't the best ambiance as I could hear a man snoring the entire time I was in there (no separate spaces only tiny 3-4ft walls sectioning off a few "rooms" within the entire space) What really got me was when i went to pay for my service and handed a tip the man pointed to a sign that said something like (just paraphrasing but it was something obnoxious like this) "Good service $20 , great service $40, amazing $80" When he did that he handed whatever cash I had given back to me as if he wasn't satisfied with the amount I smiled and shoved it back in his direction on the counter He again pointed at the sign and said "no?" Been getting my massage here for 10yrs. I went here with my sister. She had a male masseuse and he kept coughing and sniffling. I told my sister how I heard her masseuse coughing and sniffling so much. My sister said I know I heard him too. The staff in that foot spa should not go into work if they are sick or coughing. My friend and I went for the first time and we loved it!!!! We got the foot massage for $40 and it was amazing.

I am really disappointed!! Today my daughter called to see if there were any availability for her and I get to messages with the request that we have females perform the messages . The person in the phone said yes if we come in at 2:30pm. When we went in we confirmed that the messages would be performed by females. My daughter requested the #3 30 min foot and 30 min back. I requested the #7 60 min foot massage. When we were seated we were both greeted by females and that is who started the messages. At one point I started hearing a man's voice and it appeared he was messaging my daughter's feet and he was talking to someone and just kept talking. When the message moved from my head and shoulders to my feet I was surprised to notice that it was someone else. Then when my daughter moved to her back portion, the male person startled her because she was not expecting a man. She then had to again request a female to do her back message. At that point the female that was doing my foot message and the male that was doing my daughter's message switched and the male finished my foot message. Wait it gets better, during my foot message the male stopped my message to go to the front counter and help a walk in. So overall this relaxing experience that both my daughter and I were hoping for turned in to be a mediocre at best experience. Then to top it all off the woman that we paid with tried to give us a bad time for my giving a good tip. This was one of the worst experiences I have had here at Lavender and I do not know if I will ever go back. Again were impressed with not only the excellent foot/leg massage but also scalp, arms, and ultimately back massage on table. I have been here many times before and had always enjoyed the experience. I made an appointment for a 90 minute foot massage. It was a man that was doing the massage, which didn't matter to me. Within the first ten minutes, I knew it was not going to be good. He started massaging my head and it was so hard that it hurt. When he started on my feet, he continuously rubbed the inside area of my foot- for a good ten minutes straight until the skin felt raw and sore. The whole massage was like this- unpleasant. Prices are affordable. Location is too close to the noise of the parking lot/honking. Customer service can improve. I've been going to this place a few times now. They have a visit reward card they stamp and that was my 6th stamp, and I've already collected all stamps on a different card, so been here at least 16 times. The last time I was here I thought the check out lady was in a bad mood, as she didn't even smile or said thank you or see you next time. But today, she was giving my change back and was keeping $10. UntilI looked like where my change? I gave the masseuse $8 tip on a $40/hr for massage. And as I'm leaving, the counter lady gets my attention and points to her good/better/amazing tip card. With the minimum at $10. I said I tipped 20% and won't be back again. I should've said tip is not mandatory and should have requested it back just to be petty. The massage wasn't even the full hour. My latest visit to Lavender Foot Spa started off so terribly, I couldn't let my review for this establishment remain a 5 star. I always get their #6 the 60 minutes Foot and 30 minute Body ($40) since I come here when my feet aches and I need extra time on the feet. My previous visits with David has been great, but just a warning... Even if you call in to request someone, the owner usually says they're busy/not there and will try to push you to someone else. It's really annoying. So on my latest visit, David was not working but my feet was really aching so I asked the owner for someone else who was strong. He gave me to this lady who was SO TERRIBLE. With the head massage, I felt like she was just tangling my hair. The neck and shoulder, she was just rubbing lotion and pinching into my flesh with her nails. Same with the arms. when I asked for more pressure she just tried harder but the technique was not there. Just like more aggression, pinching and nails. It was SO BAD. And well I'm paying for a foot massage, so I waited to get to the foot portion. She proceeded to just rub lotion on my foot. Nothing of technique or value. When I asked for more pressure she still sucked... I was so over it. I called the owner over and said let me just pay cause this is so terrible. I can always make more money, but I can't make more time. The owner came over and it was frustrating cause he was like... oh different people like different things. I'm like no no no she's just badddddd... terrrrrrible.... horrific.... agonizing. I am all for the gentle Swedish massages, but technique matters. This lady had NONE. Anyways the owner talked me to giving someone else a chance and sent Tony over. MUCH MUCH Better. I am glad I said something cause the massage quality was night and day. He kept making sure I was okay, poor guy must think I'm picky. His technique was on point. He knew where to apply pressure and where my knots were. I am proud of myself for speaking up cause 90 minutes with that lady would have been torture. I am still feeling bittersweet about my experience. What a great surprise. Took my daughter here for massages before we went to the Wii spa for the day. We both got the 30 min foot massage and the 30 minute full body. For the full body they take you into a private room, the ambiance was so cute and relaxing and after when I went out to my foot massage their chairs were so comfortable. I have been to others and this lounger was a dream. My masseuse was so good he did this thing on my ear lobes and it felt so good and relaxing. Ok so my husband was having really bad lower back pain so I told him we would get him a massage. I decided to get one as well and let me tell you, it was the best! I didn't even know i had that much tension in my body!! As for my husband, he came in with bad lower back pain and left worse than before. I was hoping massage would help, but instead made it worse. The kicker was when I went to pay. The man who did my massage rang me up. I told him $10 tip, he pointed to the sign and said $10/per person. I told him no, $10 total cuz my husband was in more pain than before. He stood there and argued with me over the tip! I told him he was rude and demanding and should be glad he got a tip. This went on for 5 minutes and I was over it. I told him only $80 for massages now since he wants to have a bad attitude. He stood there and tried to argue about that too. Got a couples massage for an hour so we had the room with two massage beds. The prices we're reasonable and the massage itself was good. But what I didn't like was that I paid for an hour to relax and unwind, but the two masseuses were talking the entire time we were getting massaged. My boyfriend also let me know that the lady massaging him would be doing good, then when she would start talking again she would stop massaging and get distracted by her conversation and would dig her elbow into him. And when she stopped talking then she would remove her elbow from digging into his back. So After the hot rocks when they had us turn over on our backs lying face up, they continued to talk. So I politely asked them if they could stop talking to each other for the remainder of the massage which was like 15 minutes. Once the conversation stopped we were able to hear the relaxing music they had playing on low volume. Then when we went to pay I left them a $5 tip each and the man at the front desk had the nerve to pint to the tip suggestion flyer they had on the counter. Which said $10 meant good not $5. And so I let him know why I tipped $5 and he rolled his eyes at me and asked who talked the whole time. And I let him know the only two masseuses that we had massaging us. And that I wasn't even going to tip but I didn't want to be rude. And that if they want a good tip, next time they shouldn't talk sooo much and let the customer actually relax.
