I had a deep pore facial and a back massage today done by Linda. Her skills are unmatched. I was willing to make the drive from Riverside area to San Dimas because I have never had a bad experience at SDS. I have tried other spas since moving away and not one has left me feeling happy with my service nor the results. I left with my face *GLOWING* and my facial discoloration was gone. Linda was thorough with every nook and cranny of all the knots I didn't even know I had in my back. I just went in asking for a shoulder massage but I'm glad I ended up choosing the back massage. Feeling all of the knots and stiffness made me realize how badly I let my self care go. As she was working my back, I could literally feel my body being able to breathe again. I even noticed my posture and body movements afterwards was more fluid and relaxed. I will definitely be coming back for Linda's expertise. My husband and I have come here a handful of times. We do the couples massage every time. We made today's appt a year ago because of Eva. I have confirmed 3 times that even though we are getting different types of massages, we are still doing a couple massage. The lady said yes. We went today and there was no robes or slippers in the lockers. I had to search multiple lockers to find one. My husband said the same thing in his locker. We went to the waiting room and there was NO wine and chocolates that are included with the massage. The worst part is that Eva comes to get me for my massage and had NO idea it was a couples massage. It was very disappointing and frustrating. My body feels lighter, more flexible, and got rid of my hip, lower back, and shoulder pain. Linda did an outstanding job! I booked my appointment through ClassPass for a 60-minute lymphatic massage and left feeling more relaxed than I ever have before. The entire experience was calming from start to finish. The front desk receptionist was incredibly kind, welcoming, and had such a great sense of humor, which made the check-in process feel comfortable and easy. After checking in, you're able to change in their locker rooms, where they provide robes and slippers in sizes XS through XL -- a thoughtful detail that made the experience feel even more accommodating. My massage therapist walked me through the process, made sure I felt comfortable, and created a peaceful environment where I could fully unwind. They also offer complimentary tea, which was a lovely touch after the treatment. We went for the couples massage in Valentine's Day! Boy what a treat! Eva was my masseuse and she was wonderful, applied just enough pressure and was communicative. I tried a salt scrub for the first time and felt silky smooth. You can shower and use the sauna after your treatment. Plenty of parking and they accept spa finder gift cards with no problem. Only cons were the shared room we were in had no music, so we just heard the clock ticking . And their waiting relax room has a curtain up that divides a room. I felt a little awkward listening in on someone else get a massage while we waited. Staff is super friendly and it is close by to my home so I will definitely come back! read more

Went here because it needed a massage so bad and my sister recommended to get a lymphatic massage. Not alot of massage places in my area that provide lymphatic massage. Thankfully this place has it and did it good. I really like they provide robe, slippers and changing area. Also it's great idea that they let you use sauna before getting a massage. Sauna has a lot of benefits. Specially for me as a postpartum mom I needed a sauna to relax my muscle and all the tension on my body. The lymphatic massage was amazing and I got neck & shoulder massage and it helped a lot on my tension shoulder. I've always have neck and shoulder pain because of stress and multiple accidents from the past and this helps a lot. The place is clean and relaxing. Everything from when they received us for the couples massage to doing our couples facial was all professional and amazing. The ladies here were very strong and had good muscle strength to be able to get into the knots in my body. I highly highly recommend it. I've been coming here for a number of years and I've also brought groups with my mom, sisters, nieces and even my hubby to celebrate special occasions. So then I joined the membership almost 2 years ago and my personal experiences have cont'd to be wonderful with Shirley and Wendy for various facials and massages. They are my favorites! And then a month ago (while I was in the spa finishing my April massage), I made 4 appts with Shirley, which I wanted in May just before my big vacation. I confirmed the pricing at that time with the gentleman at the front desk (owner). Yesterday was my facial and "add-on" organic resurfacing. Wonderful! Today was a lymphatic massage and "add-on" Herbal foot Reflexology. Wonderful! (even though the owner was yelling down the hallway for at least 10 min while we are all trying to be in a zone) Unfortunately, at checkout today the charge was higher than expected. Not by much, but the point is that it was the wrong price for the add-on. Should have been the advertised price of $35 plus my membership discount of 15% off. When I pointed it out, the response was that the prices went up "recently". On my way home I called back confirming to them that the website still showed $35. Now it's a matter of principle. The response I got was that their system shows the updated higher price. And it didn't matter that the website still shows the add-on as $35. The receptionist said she understood my point ... but they said the owner indicated NO, the price is $40 now. I said it's false advertisement (not legal) and not in good faith since it's still advertised as such. I've witnessed others disputing advertisement prices long ago when paying, but didn't pay much attention bc it wasn't my experience... until now. Needless to say, it's ridiculous and shady and now I've cancelled my future membership. I could care less about the $5 difference, but I do care about principle. So for whatever it's worth, I hope it doesn't happen to you especially if you've been a loyal customer for years. I do not trust the owner. read more

Came here for much needed healing. I just had a baby two months ago. I opted with the holiday special 1 hr massage + body scrub.. I'm realizing I'm not a fan of body scrubs during massages. My skin is pretty sensitive.. But, my skin ended up being super soft. Tina was my massage therapist and she was soo nice. Super attentive and incredibly skilled massage therapist. The staff is really sweet and welcoming. The spa is clean and relaxing. The massages are fantastic. The facials are to die for. BUT. Don't come here for lash extensions. I got mine done and they look great. However, as my lashes were being applied she kept opening my eyes which caused them to burn. She also applied lashes while holding my eye open. I brushed it off at the time because I don't like being an annoying customer but my eyes still burn an hour later. Other than this the spa is really awesome.
