We came in for a couples massage and were disappointed by the number of interruptions. My massage therapist repeatedly left the room to assist customers at the front. The other therapist also left the room several times because she was coughing, and each time she was gone for several minutes without apologizing or explaining why she was leaving. What made the experience even worse was what happened when we tipped. Both therapists made visible facial expressions, started talking to each other in their language, and one of them even walked away, leaving the tip sitting on the counter. It felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. We've had good experiences here before, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I debated writing this review for a long time. This happened a few years ago when the business was new, and I originally didn't want to hurt a small business, but the experience has stuck with me. During my first visit (around the COVID period), I was given a promotional card for a large discount if I came back soon. It honestly seemed too good to be true, but I returned a few days later to use it. When I got there, they suddenly said the promotion didn't apply and that I had to pay full price. It was the same employee who gave me the card, and he even called his boss, but the explanation kept changing. In the end, they refused to honor the promotion they gave me. I still went through with the appointment because I already felt awkward leaving. After multiple add-ons and charges, the total came out to over $400 for the facial and services. The services themselves were average at best, and they were extremely pushy about a large tip afterward. The whole experience felt like shady business practices, misleading promotions, pressure to spend more, and pressure to tip big. The spa environment itself was also pretty unappealing and felt more like a warehouse than a relaxing spa. Overall, it left a very bad impression. I'll never return. read more

Mega Zing Spa offers massages, table showers, skin care, waxing and eyelashes services. I came here following my favorite masseuse Lucy! I feel a business provides a location, equipment, ambiance, but one of the key influencers of a massage is the staff who is doing the massage. I have followed Lucy from business to business and I have been consistently taken care of in her care. I decided to indulge with 2 services. I opted for the Table Shower with Whole Body Scrub ($65) and a 60 Minute Foot Massage ($50). I honestly just got the table shower cause it seemed like something interesting to try. They have a special room with a service table shower and a shower if you need it. Lucy turned on a space heater for the room and I soon understood why. It was cold inside that room. Lucy filled the shower table with warm water for me and left the room for me to start off face down. There was a towel for me to cover my butt. It was super cold, so I'm glad the water was warm and the space heater was there. The exfoliation was really nice. She had a exfoliation glove and it felt like a sugar scrub that she applied in circular motion and exfoliated me. After the back side I flipped over face up. All the areas that needed to be covered was covered. It was a relaxing experience and really reminded me of when my grandma bathe me as a child and soaped my back in a loving way. After the table shower with whole body scrub, I got dressed and headed out to the foot massage area. There were 3 foot massage chairs separated by some curtains. You are able to lay down with a slight angle for your head to be propped up comfortably and they had the plushiest pillow. We started off face up where she spent about 10 minutes on my head, shoulder, neck and arms. Then afterwards the majority of the time was spent on the feet, which I needed since wearing high heels hurt my feet. Then towards the end, I flip over face down for a quick 10 minute back massage to wrap things up. Incredible. So relaxing! Lucy is so intuitive and she has the perfect amount of pressure in each spot. She would check on me from time to time to ask if I needed more or less pressure but I'm like it's already perfect. When I checked out, they even gave me a stamp card. You get 1 stamp for every $50 you spend. After 10 stamps, you can earn a 1 hour body massage. What a treat! The scrub is fun to do once in a while for a polish, but I think when I come back I will do their Combination Massage ($80) where you get 60 minutes for the full body back massage with 30 minutes of reflexology. I got a 60 minute (A whole 60 minutes, not that 50 minute massage that those big massage places do) and a 30 minute foot reflexology with VIC and oh my goodness! It was deep tissue but yet it was also relaxing?... I love going to Asian Spas because they incorporate techniques that other spas do not. She massaged me, stretched me, and gave me an amazing foot reflexology massage, I was in heaven! Now lets talk about how that all only cost $70!? At other "spas" that would be like $200! And VIC did so much better than any other place I've been. Also, they have a punch card, where after you get 10 massages, you get $25 off! I am so happy I found this place! I've had several massages before and this person had no technique, no flow, seemed to not know how to give proper massages. The lighting was awful. I found this newer massage spot on Yelp, so we thought we would give it a try. I am not a big fan of giving unfavorable reviews, but I had to based on the low-quality massage we received. It was honestly one of the worst massages we have received. In addition to the massage being a lower quality massage, we paid for a 90 minute massage and received a 80 minute massage. In addition, the massage comes with a hot stone massage, which is something my husband was looking forward to. Can you believe they put the hot stones on my husband's legs instead of his back? By the time his massage therapist got the hot stones, he was already laying on his back so the therapist put his leg at a 90 degree angle to put the rocks on his legs. The massages we have received from other massage places put the hot stones on your back and then put the remaining ones on your leg. Lastly, the massage face cradle they use is extremely uncomfortable and hurts the jaw of your face. It is not like the ones you normally have at most massage places where it is adjustable. The massage table just had a small opening where there is a towel piled up where you put your face into. It is also difficult to breathe through it when you have a face mask on since the hole is surrounded with a layer of towels. The gentleman at the front was friendly and even gave us a gift for coming in for the first time, it is just unfortunate we will not be coming back. There are plenty of other massage places who charge less and give better quality massages.
