I won't be coming back unfortunately. First and last time. The tables sheets had holes in it. Look old and dirty smell fresh, but also Didn't smell dirty either. The lady was sighing a lot and stated she was tired In ENGLISH, which she didn't speak, twice. She was hell bent on stepping on me ALOT, but I told her I needed my traps to be rubbed out. She didn't seem to be happy about that. Then she moved the sheet around with no regard to my privacy either. Overall, 1 1/2 hrs of massage for $100.... And I'm not satisfied. Sorry read more

oh my goodness I had a FANTASTIC massage here, I am sad to say I didn't get the woman's name who gave me my massage but holy cow I feel like a new person. My favorite part is the hot rocks all over your body it felt amazing. Only thing to note is my massage table did not have a face hole in it which was a bit uncomfortable for my face but I should have spoken up it's not their fault... I'd leave 0 stars if I could. Been a regular here for awhile. Today, my wife and I came in with an appointment for 60 minute massages. We arrived 5 minutes prior to our appointment. Nobody greeted us. 10 minutes go by and still no one greeted us. Then an employee walks into the door, clearly rushed and late for work. He calls out to somebody else who comes up front from the back. She doesn't greet us. Just asks why we're there. We tell her we have an appointment. She takes us to the back to get settled, now about 7 minutes past our appointment time. They start the massages and then a few minutes in the front desk manager and a group of people come walking in, talking loudly. The manager calls my massage therapist away to help the group that just came in. 5 minutes or more go by and she still hasn't come back. So I sat up and waited, still nothing. I got frustrated with waiting and gathered my stuff and waited up front for my wife. They didn't say anything to me or apologize, they just let me sit there. Then only 48 minutes into my wife's 60 minute massage they bring her up, finished. Unprofessional. Done coming here. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would. Prior to today's visit my partner & I have been to this establishment more than a hand full of time's. It has been our go to place for a couples massage. This evening we go in for our scheduled couples massage that I had called and made an appointment for, upon arriving for our massage we were told we needed to wait that wait turned into a 15/20 minute wait. A few minutes into our massage I realize a male was working on me. I was never asked if I was ok with a man touching me or even entering our private room. I felt so uncomfortable the entire time I kept looking over at my partner in discomfort. On top of that his breath smelled terrible so bad I could smell it with my face tucked in the massage table. Every deep breath he took I almost died. The woman who was massaging my partner kept stopping and running to the door to attend to people coming in. After the 3rd time she ran out I asked if this was going to continue because we're paying for an hour and he's definitely not getting that l. She was so worried about the lobby she gave a half ass massage. When I expressed these concerns they both laughed in my face and when I told them this was a serious matter and not a laughing matter he walked away and the laughed again. Never in my life have I felt so violated, degraded and unheard. We will never return to this establishment again. read more

I been to this place a few times and today was the worst by far .. we did a couple massage we set an appointment then had to wait 15min .. didn't tell my wife a guy would be massaging her which she didn't like . Every time someone walked into the establishment the lady stopped the massage to attend paid for an hour massage but really got like a 40 min massage.. NEVER AGAIN !! read more

Very clean and comfortable inside. We got 90 mins oil message which included head, arm and foot for 30mins, back, neck and shoulder for another 60 mins. My husband I went in for a 1 hour foot massage and came out like a wet noodle. We were so stressed from life. This is what we needed. My husband comes here all the time but this was my first time for the foot massage. This is a clean and relaxing place. The women are friendly and professional. Very very nice staff! Really good price!! I was greeted at the door as I walked in by jack! I explained to him my back and knee were in pain (I work in construction) I had picked out the 60 min massage! The room was very nice and clean! The woman giving the massage (lily) came in and was very clam and nice! She had strong massage which I love, and really made my back feel so much better!! After reading the reviews on this place, I was pleased to see that not many of the reviews mentioned how they FORCE you too tip. As this was a complaint on many of the other massage places. When I walked in the lady was friendly and smiled but there was a language barrier for sure. I paid for my massage before the I had my massage. I did not tip when I paid for my massage ($15) because I wasn't sure how the massage would go. I did let the lady know I'd tip after my massage with cash. It was an okay massage, my fiancé gives a better massage at home. After my massage the lady did ask for a tip and said "at least $5 tip" at this point it did feel a little awkward and forced to give a $5 tip for an okay massage. I won't be returning. *i would like to add that I did let the other lady know it is rude to demand and ask for a tip* read more

Jack worked on my pain areas and did a fantastic job with working out the knots and swelling around around my knee. Lily was very strong with her hands and elbows for my husband's trouble spots. It is very useful, once you're stressed, you can come here and take a Massage. I did the 70min one and they did from top to bottom, including foot. I was really stressed and tired after finals and I have back pain, and shoulder hurts. After I come here, and did around 70min message, I feel relaxed. Like the pain and stress all went away. I am SO glad that I found Harmony because Susan's massage ended up being one of the best I've ever had. She listened to me when I asked for more or less pressure, and was very thorough in her techniques. I was having tension headaches for a week or so before seeing her, and after leaving I felt like pudding (and still do, days later). I will definitely be back. I will say this as a side note: the music playing, while relaxing, was one single song on repeat. If you're someone who pays attention to stuff like that, it may be a small annoyance, but the massage is worth it. ;-)

If Groupon is not accepted or is an inconvenience for your business, then you should not advertise or participate on Groupon in the first place. I wasted my time, left work early, and drove there only to be turned away at the door. The way the situation was handled was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this business based on the customer service I received.

I was greeted right away and then went inside the first room. The rooms are not completely private rooms. There are dividers and curtains to make you feel like you're separated. There is also calm music playing in the background but you can still hear people moving around outside the room. It wasn't a problem for me. The area was very clean. I decided to go with a 60 min deep tissue massage. The first masseuse who worked on me did an amazing job, I really enjoyed the pressure she used as it was just right. Halfway through, another customer requested her so a second masseuse took over for me and she was great as well! Her pressure was a bit harder but I didn't mind as I have such stubborn knots. Everyone was very kind and friendly. The cost was pretty good compared to other places I've been. I think the price is very reasonable especially since the rooms are not completely private. There is a $2 credit card fee. Parking lot is small but you can also park along the street if it's full. Will definitely have to come back again!

First time use Yelp and start to round trip around the United States. I passed by Chic Day Spa today. I am seriously into Asian bodywork massages now. So, I signed up Yelp and start to enjoy my life. I've received a bunch throughout the city from various types of places and will say that Chic Day Spa has the most beautiful decor (BY FAR) and a fair price, especially considering how much extra money they put into creating a wonderful ambiance. Before I entered, I wasn't expecting much since most bodywork locations in Los Angeles tend to lean more bare bones; but, I was seriously surprised. The waiting room, bathroom and massage rooms are all wonderfully put together and clean. The massage was great too. Really hit all the right spots and was both painful (in a good way) yet relaxing. LOVED that they used hot stones and a hot towel after - you'd be surprised at how many places don't. Overall, I would most definitely return and have already recommended Chic Day Spa to three other people. Best part is if you check in on Yelp you get an additional 15 minutes free or 15%. My only concern is that the current prices may change after the grand opening. It's totally understandable because the space looks really high-end, but I may not become a regular depending on how much the price point changes. Guess we'll see! Whenever I come back to LA, I will definitely visit Chic Day Spa again. read more

room is small and completely quiet. Convenient location My mom and I usually prefer strong & soothing swedish-style bodywork....and they have satisfied our needs. (I've only tried a couple of their therapists so far). The biggest plus is that we no longer have to trek to Pasadena or Arcadia when our bodies ache. They are open fairly late on some nights....which is good for me because i work late. So far, i have had their swedish, deep-tisssue, and thai massage. My mom has had their reflexololgy. All were excellent. We are both hooked. We would go several times a week if we had the time...and if $ were no object. I wish i had the motivation to go to that beautiful yoga place near Via De La Paz.......or to the ymca gym...but i just don't have the energy at the end of a brutal day in the office. So i instead opt to pay a nurturing therapist to squeeze the aches and stress out of my body. I recommend Jennifer or Nacy.....they are both strong. Nacy does thai bodywork, and Jennifer does Hungarian-style Swedish and deep-tissue. I love massage because it's an extremely healthy addiction, and it's ZERO calories, and it helps me sleep so deeply. Much better than going to a restaurant and over-indulging in food and wine. read more

Best Asian massage in glendora! the foot bath to start and then full body deep tissue massage after was amazing! i already feel so much better than before i came in! thank you so much for helping me get my body fixed and i will definitely be coming back for more! the spa space was very clean and oriental from the music to the clean warm sheets when i laid in the bed , professional staff and high quality oils were used for my back and neck and arms , high quality lotion were used for my feet after the herbal bath! you cant beat the pricing either ! it is very affordable and i made sure my tip was also well worthy because my masseur was a very accommodating and hard worker , thank you again so much you guys are the best read more

I visited chic day spa today despite the past two negative reviews, and I would like to say that I received probably the best massage of my whole life! and I've been here before! this spa is renovated and 10x better than what it used to be! these harsh comments about chic day spa are un-believeable because when I came in for my monthly massage the whole spa had a new energy that I loved! they really treated me like a king! no offense to the old owners but this new vibe at chic day spa is great! the hour massage was so relaxing , and my body feels so relaxed! I ended up getting a full body massage. It was 60, but now there's an event for 50. Well, it's not bad. Because the surrounding is a commercial street, shopping is convenient, so you can relax during the future shopping, very convenient, worth recommending! read more

It was very pleasing to come to this spa. The environment was pleasant and very relaxing. I ask the girl to give me a good deep tissue massage and she gave me a great one. Got all the areas I asked her to do and I felt a lot better after we left. Services was good and the tip I left was hopefully good enough. I always give a good tip if they do good. Friendly, professional and skillful. The facilities are clean and beautiful too. The free parking at the front is a plus point. It is a good place to relax from all the tension you have. Me and my Mom really love this place! We choose the couple room. So quite and clean. All masseuses are professional! And I saw the no sexual services warning tip in the room. Everything is perfect! I took my friend for a 45 min foot massage and they end up not only massaging your feet but your head and neck and your body too. I love that you leave your clothes on and they keep it quiet so you can fall asleep if you want. The owner is a really nice and I have never been disappointed. Their Yelp info said they take walk-ins, so I called and Susan told me I could be seen right away. I showed up within ten minutes and she greeted me in a friendly manner, then showed me the pricing. They do have you pay up front, which I was a little concerned about, but it ended up being amazing so my fears were unfounded. I am SO glad that I found Harmony because Susan's massage ended up being one of the best I've ever had. She listened to me when I asked for more or less pressure, and was very thorough in her techniques. I was having tension headaches for a week or so before seeing her, and after leaving I felt like pudding (and still do, days later). I will definitely be back. I will say this as a side note: the music playing, while relaxing, was one single song on repeat. If you're someone who pays attention to stuff like that, it may be a small annoyance, but the massage is worth it. ;-)

As soon as I showed them my Groupon gift card, their attitude completely changed and I was told they could no longer take me because they "don't have time for Groupon." That makes absolutely no sense. You had time for my appointment until you realized I would be using a Groupon gift card. If Groupon is not accepted or is an inconvenience for your business, then you should not advertise or participate on Groupon in the first place. I wasted my time, left work early, and drove there only to be turned away at the door. The way the situation was handled was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this business based on the customer service I received.
