Because we came around 7:20 they said they only had 30min massages and not full hour ones. They charged $40 per massage, our usual place charges $60 for a full massage. We paid $80 and that massage has been the worse one ever! Both my husband and I were talking about how these massages have been the worst ones we've paid for. she started massaging my back and legs only, then she pressed on my head scalp but then was hitting my head just as hard as she was doing my back! I said ouch and she said "oh ok" She never massaged my arms or my feet. she seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing. At the end my husband gives them $10, and says $5 for each and they said "No, $10 each" she was sticking her hand out and I gave them to her. It was an awful experience, these people are frauds. They are across a church and Azusa Pacific, don't come here and save your money! I usually don't post reviews but these ladies were awful!

I also loved how quickly they gave me responses. There is a parking lot that is available for patients, but there is street parking if needed as well. The studio is small but was clean, smelled nice, and cozy. I forgot the name of the therapist who gave me my massage, but she was excellent and ensured that I was comfortable even with my injury. Their Yelp info said they take walk-ins, so I called and Susan told me I could be seen right away. I showed up within ten minutes and she greeted me in a friendly manner, then showed me the pricing. They do have you pay up front, which I was a little concerned about, but it ended up being amazing so my fears were unfounded. I am SO glad that I found Harmony because Susan's massage ended up being one of the best I've ever had. She listened to me when I asked for more or less pressure, and was very thorough in her techniques. I was having tension headaches for a week or so before seeing her, and after leaving I felt like pudding (and still do, days later). I will definitely be back. I will say this as a side note: the music playing, while relaxing, was one single song on repeat. If you're someone who pays attention to stuff like that, it may be a small annoyance, but the massage is worth it. ;-)

As soon as I showed them my Groupon gift card, their attitude completely changed and I was told they could no longer take me because they "don't have time for Groupon." That makes absolutely no sense. You had time for my appointment until you realized I would be using a Groupon gift card. If Groupon is not accepted or is an inconvenience for your business, then you should not advertise or participate on Groupon in the first place. I wasted my time, left work early, and drove there only to be turned away at the door. The way the situation was handled was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I ended up making an appointment with a different spa down the street (shout-out to Harmony Massage & Spa for taking me on such short notice and helping get all those knots out, I highly recommend them!), and while I was in that appointment, Aracieli from Lotus called and said "I apologize, I had a mix-up with the time." In today's day and age of phone organization and calendar reminders, that just doesn't seem responsible to me. Not to mention, I received THREE reminders about the appointment in the days leading up to it. I guess they don't receive the same reminders that their customers do? I can't speak for the quality of service, as I received none, but if you book with these people, I HIGHLY recommend calling at least 1-2 days before your appointment and confirming with an actual person that someone will be there, because if you check their reviews, I am not the first person this has happened to.

She let me know what she worked on, what she found, and recommendations for the future.
