    Panang Curry
    Ka V.

Small little restaurant with pleasant service. Overall food was okay. I would say around this area, probably the better "Thai" option. Pad see ew was a little on the sweeter side but it okay. I wish fresh noodle would've been used but I'm guessing it's hard to get around here. Fried rice was okay - wasn't bad but wasn't great. The panang curry was probably the best thing we ordered here, would give it If I had to get Thai food, would probably be the better option. But I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

The food was so delicious and it's one of the best Thai places I've ever eaten at! The place was packed not an empty seat in the house and service was still on point .

We stopped here while driving through one day for lunch and we can't wait to go back! Their lunch menu has some great combinations and everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. Will definitely stop in again when we're in the area.

    Soy sauce for 4??
    Amy A.

We ordered carry out from here tonight. The Pad Thai was lack luster and had very little flavor. Beef and broccoli was okay but the sauce was extremely thin and runny. The kicker was I gave the lady a very generous tip and then I asked if there was soy sauce in the bag. She stated there was not. I asked if I could get soy sauce for 4 dinners and we were given enough soy for 1 person. My husband asked if we could please get more soy and was told they are a small family business and soy sauce was too expensive and we would need to pay extra for it. Needless to say, I went to Publix and bought my own soy and won't be a repeat customer at this establishment.

Easily the worst Thai food I have ever had. The Tom Yum soup tasted like spicy vinegar. No mushrooms, no lemongrass, no vegetables, no complexity. The west Tom yum I have ever had. The beef laarb salad was also mediocre. When the server asked Joe everything was, I usually just say good buy this was meal was so bad, I had to break my silence and express my disappointment. They came up with such excuses like they just got back from vacation at 2am that they just cooked everything to they just got back from vacation that this was old food saved from before the vacation. I asked them why they would serve food they knew was sub par and they said this was real Thai food. I informed the server that I have had real Thai food and this was not it. I asked if this is what they eat at home and she again said this was authentic. She said she was sorry that I did not like my meal. Never apologized for the gross dinner I had to eat. And I had to eat it because I can't afford to just throw my expensive dinner away. I highly recommend you not eat at this marginal establishment who only care about taking your money and not care about the quality of the food they serve you.

Service was fine. We was trying to expand our palates. My husband enjoyed his food but I'm not a fan of that cuisine.

Small mom and pop shop owned by a Thai family. They play old Thai music, atmosphere is chill and not as overwhelming. My family and I went around 5pm so there wasn't that big of a crowd until 5:30 when folks started coming in for dinner. Let me tell you it was deeelicious! Either we were very hungry from the full days of walking /hiking or the food was just that good. We cleared our plates in under 20 minutes. Ordered the Nam Tok, Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Po Tak. Full of flavors and is how all Thai food should be cooked - hearty, flavorful, authentic, saap saap. The menu has your basic Thai dishes you would get at other many Thai restaurants but there were some stuff they didn't have due to lack of access to ingredients in the area. Service may seem slow to most people who are trying to get in and out. Mind you its (what I assume) just the family and a few non-family staff in the kitchen, who are running the show. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and left feeling satisfied, full, and happy.

    Basil Noodles Masaman Curry Broccoli

I've been living in east TN for the past 18 years, and I can say with confidence this is my favorite place in the state to eat. My top favorites are the Basil Noodles, Basil Fried Rice and the Massaman curry. Another must try are the veggie Spring Rolls. They are massive and packed with the best flavor! Prices are very reasonable and the portions sizes are also good. The chef is very good and every time I go here the food is on point. Thank you guys for the delicious cuisine!

Food wasn't bad, service was decent but marginal, decor is outdated and needs a serious upgrade. Not terrible but not great either.

It's right around a corner curb and has all glass windows, bringing nature closer while dining in. Everything adds up to the pricing, but the authentic flavorful Thai food. We ordered typical appetizers - Chicken Satay and Spring Rolls. Spring Rolls were too oily, seemed deep re-fried. Chicken Satay came after entrees were served, and beyond surprise, they got us bite size pan seared chicken, which lacked flavors and seasonings. Worst satay we have ever had. All these years, all the thai places serve chicken satay on skewers and with tasty peanut sauce. To our dismay, this chicken satay was pan seared with no taste whatsoever. Our entrees were their specialty basil fried rice and red, green curry. They were ok. But chicken was like boiled chicken just thrown in precooked curries. Lacked the flavors again! Overall I would rate rating of 2 for food. Sharing pictures for reference, they don't do justice with the tasteless food. My 2cents, they should work on their food quality and then price the dishes appropriately.

I wanted to start with Thai Cuisine in Maryville because this place deserves more business. Food: 5/5 The food tastes amazing! Everything was cooked perfectly, tasted fresh and you can tell it was made by a chef who truly cares about their cooking. The portion sizes and presentation were excellent and very filling. This was my first time ever trying curry, and I was extremely impressed -- I loved every bite. If you're ever curious about trying curry, get the Yellow Curry. The spice levels range from 1-5, and I got level 2. It had great heat without overpowering the flavors. I also had a bite of my mother's Tornado Shrimp, and it was fried and sauced perfectly. It's hard to sauce fried food well, but Thai Cuisine does it perfectly every time. The vegetables were cooked to perfection too -- they had a great crunch without tasting raw. Lastly, the potstickers are the best in Maryville! ‍ Service: 5/5 The service was professional and super friendly. Our server, Yolanda, was incredibly helpful when it came to deciding which curry I should try and what protein paired best with it. The pacing of the service was excellent because we had time to enjoy our appetizer without feeling rushed into our entrée. You can also tell the cook(s) is passionate about what they do. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 The restaurant was very clean, and the vibes were exactly what you'd expect from a Thai restaurant. My only nitpick was that we were seated next to another group even though there was plenty of space in the restaurant where we could've had a little more room to ourselves. Value: 5/5 The portions absolutely matched the value of what we ordered. I know eating out can get expensive nowadays, but this place is absolutely worth the price they charge. Final Thoughts I absolutely adore Thai Cuisine in Maryville and the employees who work there. They're always friendly and always deliver great food. This will always be one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving a fresh meal. I just wish this restaurant wasn't so hidden because more people deserve to discover and try it. I'd love to see them move to a more noticeable location someday. If you love Thai food, this is the place to go for a guaranteed great experience! FEAST Overall Rating: 5/5 Would I Go Back?: YES

We got sat and looked over the menu, one thing I thought was really nice was that they offered their lunch on a weekend. Not many places do that. We decided however to order their dinner for two which comes with two entrees and a choice of app or dessert. We got their fresh basil rolls and also got a cup of their tom yum soup to split. For entrees we got their phad Thai and yellow curry. The soup and basil rolls came out super fast. Both were delicious. The soup was light and flavorful with the ginger and lime really shining through. The basil rolls were also light and the sauce was great with it. The basil didn't overpower any of the other flavors and the shrimp was very fresh tasting not fishy at all. My husband had never tried either before and was really happy with both of them. The entrees were very well portioned (meaning we had amazing leftovers). The curry a a bit of spice but not too much and you could taste all the other flavors in it. The phad Thai was good it was a bit watery with the sauce but the flavor was there. The only complaint either of us had was that the chicken was a bit dry. But that was small compared to how good everything was. It was a great lunch. When we are back in Maryville which is often because my husband works there it's definitely a place I want to go again. They have great food and the prices and really good. Plus the service is awesome. Our server offered to box up our food for us when my husband was in the bathroom and I had our daughter in my lap because she wanted to make it easier for me which I really appreciated.
