Omg what a cute and fun little restaurant. Service was exceptional, we got our food quickly and it tasted delicious.

We came here in the afternoon on a Sunday and were surprised how popular this place was. The beef noodle soup was authentic and delicious and the chili oil really topped it off. I also ordered a side of their famous angry dumplings, which was an Asian fusion take of steamed dumplings topped with spicy dressing and chili oil. I'd definitely recommend this place and can see why their ratings and reviews are all so good. Five stars all the way!

Pretty good. Nice portions, very filling. I'm Not a big fan of coconut milk or something that's sweet in there. $20 for lunch is a bit pricey

Addicted to their Angry Pork Dumplings! It's becoming a usual delivery order for us at work. Perfect amount of heat, and has a delicious flavor. We also love their curry chicken dumplings!

My friends and I stopped into Angry Dumplings while we were in town. It was the perfect meal for a cold day. We ordered several orders of the dumplings, both angry and regular. Both were generously filled and seasoned! You can tell they make the dumplings with care. My husband and I ordered the Thai curry and it was the perfect blend of spice and cream. It was even better the second day as leftovers! My friends also raved about their choices, the bbq buns were quickly eaten as well as the kimchi dumpling soup. When we return to Knoxville, this place will definitely be a staple.

A homey, comfortable eatery where you are served quickly, where the feel is very family-oriented and relaxed, prices are reasonable and portions are shareable in size. And the food? Excellent! Wonderful flavors, hearty broths and sauces charged with umami and reasonable fire. This very quickly became one of our fave places and we cannot wait to come back!

I would come here again and again. Food is always great, the service is quick and while the ambiance lacks, the food makes up for it 100%!

Pork dumplings and Grandpa's Noodles with a Thai Tea

This is a small place with big charm. You order at the counter and wait for them to call your name. They have a good variety of different drinks and a satisfying food menu. I ordered the grandpa noodles and pork buns. The broth the noodles were in was very hearty and flavorful and the meat was very tender. The pork buns were perfectly chewy and I can't wait to try the red bean dessert buns next time. I got a thai tea to drink and it was refreshing and mixed well. Over all a great place to stop in for a bite.

I absolutely love every time we come here. The food and boba are both so delicious. They have great flavor that I've not found at any other restaurant. The staff is also extremely nice as well. We sat outside due to the inside being full, and the owner came outside to let us know when an indoor table opened up. It was a very kind offer. This is one of our favorite places!

Grandpa's Noodles. Tender and so tasty!

Wow. Happy to have finally tried this tasty gem. It boasts a small interior with a somewhat quirky decor style. Random, mismatched tables and chairs and a bar are ready for you to plop down and chow. Super cool murals on the walls and a cozy couch in the back (near their random cluttered desk they presumably do business on?). There is a straw, plastic ware, and condiment station for doctoring up your bobas and entrees. A chili based sauce and the house sauce (holy moly this is good!) are awaiting little plastic cups. We ordered BBQ pork buns (3 in an order), Grandpa's noodles, pork dumplings (3 in an order), and Masaman curry with chicken. As the name suggests, the dumplings are the star. I was thrilled one came in my noodle bowl, too. The pork buns we would not get again (pretty dry and not soft and fluffy as we are used to elsewhere). The curry was fine but there are better spots for that in town. The service, noodles and dumplings will definitely bring us back.

Kimchee dumplings were out of this world

Everything about this place was awesome...that hole-in-the-wall feel, the family owned touch, the delicious and authentic food, the speed of service.

This place lives up to the high reviews!! I enjoyed everything about my visit! It was hard to decide what to eat because everything looked and sounded great. I decided on the Pork Angry Dumplings and BBQ buns plus a Lucky Taro with boba. I was a little worried the angry dumpling might be overly spicy but they were perfect. There was some heat but in a flavorful way, not a mouth scorching way. They were nicely filled and a great texture. I have never had steamed BBQ buns before so I can't compare. These were soft, chewy, and sweet and absolutely delicious . The prices were excellent. This is the kind of food I find so addictive! Sweet, salty, soft, chewy, crunchy, spicy... and affordable. The Lucky Taro tasted like taro milk tea mixed with the leftover milk from a bowl of lucky charms cereal marshmallows. Service was great as well. This is a cute little cafe type spot on Sevier Ave. It is bright and colorful inside and does have tables to eat there. There are quite a few things on the menu I want to try. I liked that there were some options that were less adventurous; my mom is a picky eater but I think she'll like the veggie dumplings and the spring onion noodles I got my food to go because I had somewhere to be but I'll def be back and take better pics. Update-- as promised, I went back and got better pics! Service is so friendly here. The people taking orders have been so cheerful both times I've visited. They had cookies available today, made by one of the employees. They were delicious! Better than a lot of bakeries I've been too. I tried the red velvet chocolate chip and the chocolate crinkle. To eat, I got the angry pork dumplings again and they were just as good as the first visit. I also tried the spring onion noodle. It was a larger portion than I expected and just simple, tasty food. I liked the crunchy onions on top. I poured some of the chili oil/sauce from my angry dumplings and mixed it in. They also have a house soy sauce mixture available which I added a touch of as well. I love how the food is presented- much nicer than you'd expect at this price point! I'm really impressed with everything about this spot.

Everything we ordered was incredible. Service was fast and employees were very friendly. Owner came out to talk and check on everyone. This will definitely be one of our go-to restaurants!

The taste you'll never forget all week. "Don't get angry, get dumplings" should be the slogan.

That's when I found out I had to wait for the "gluten free" donuts to be "made". The gluten free donuts are also vegan. So if you want vegan you also get gluten free and if you want gluten free, you also get vegan. For me, that's perfect, as I need both. I've had some AMAZING donuts that are BOTH vegan and gluten free. These donuts were not that. I'd had a bad vegan/gf donut experience at a Parlor Donuts in Oceanside, CA, and from the reviews there, it seemed like maybe I'd just gotten a bad one. After today, I can say absolutely that was not the case. They're just as bad now as they were three years ago at a different location across the country. That has nothing to do with this location and everything to do with the corporate recipe. They are dense, and dry, with the consistency of dirt, without the crunchy/grittiness of dirt actually being in your mouth. At the other location years ago, we ordered one, each took a bite and threw it out. I don't know what came over us today, but we ordered all six flavors and regretted every single one of them and threw them away half eaten. I cannot comment on the non-vegan/gf donuts as I didn't eat those, but people seem to like them. I'd rather NOT have a donut than to have a Parlor vegan/gf donut. Someone at Corporate really needs to evaluate these offerings and either decide to improve the recipe or just take them off the menu, They're THAT bad. Parking is convenient and the decor is nice and modern. There was lots of seating both inside and out. Some of the seating has electrical and USB plugs.

On another note the bacon burrito was out of this God given world and it made me feel a way that I've never felt before and the smoothie was troptastic and beachy. I really felt like I was at the beach I heard waves in the background I was eating it could have been the oven humming but it's the thought that counts!!!! This place is AWESOME I would pay to go back... oh wait I payed to go there in the first place... speaking of paying the rates here are unbelievably cheap I am one of the poorest people in my family and even I can eat here because of how cheap it is. Even if the burrito was 100$ I would still order it because taking out a loan for a bacon burrito here totally has my interest. The ambience here was outrageously gorgeous and godly I felt like a damn Greek God sitting on a beach in a beach chair(stool) while eating caviar(burrito). Lastly I just wanna say to the employee Chase thank you for being with me I wouldn't have been able to go through my beachy experience without you! 100/10 recommend if your in downtown knox go here or else I WILL find you and it won't be pretty I promise you that. This place is the bomb(sea)shell and as always never stop feeling tropical!!!!! The only thing here that was a jerk was the Caribbean jerk chicken which was killer my heart stopped beating for a moment from the killer flavor of this wrap it felt like someone was wrapping there arms around me while I ate here Sincerely, Braden Cole Harris III Have a tropilaca day fellas never give up on your dreams and remember kids don't do drugs or else
