The box that holds the goodies!

Hi, my name is Paul and I'm a dough addict.........Fortunately, not just any doughnuts will do. I can now, with the help of my partner, control my addiction. The deal here is that they're mostly an incredible non-greasy dough with a flavored icing on top. Wow! You get the great doughnut and some goo to let you know you're enjoying a treat! The coffee was good as well, and the staff was really friendly. Looks like we have another Tennessee food destination...........

We're finally here for opening day!

We came on the opening day of Parlor Donuts, and were so surprised to see the line out the door, despite the rain and dreary weather. The excitement was in the air about the newest donut place in town. The interior of Parlor Donuts is bright, airy and decorated in sweet Americana. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and one of the managers was even saying hello to us and others in line as we waited. Yesterday, we had the chance to go back and at around 3:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon, we were two of six people in the whole place. It would definitely make an excellent spot to work or study from. As for the donuts, they are not your average donut like from Dunkin. They are layered, soft and buttery --almost like a croissant texture. Our favorites include: Campfire, Sandy Beach, Honey Lavender, and Fruit tart. Know Before You Go: Hours: Monday-Friday (6:30 am-6:00pm) Sat. & Sun. (7:00 am -6:00pm) Parking Situation: Free street parking or a free covered parking garage right across the street. Rewards Club: If you download their app on your phone, you can join their rewards club. We only found out about it our second visit, and already got a coupon for a donut and a free coffee!

Opening day! It was a bit chaotic, very loud with long lines, but the staff seemed to be taking it in stride & everyone was friendly. It's a fun, patriotic themed atmosphere & the vibe this morning was energetic. It smelled like doughnut heaven on earth. Everyone waiting in line seemed happy to wait in anticipation of a delicious doughnut for their reward. I felt like the line moved fairly quickly. We had a chance to peruse the merch as we shuffled around the back of the room. This is also the corner where the water station is located and the coffee bar to customize your drink with cream, sugar, etc. They had good looking mugs, glasses, hats & tees for purchase. Doughnuts were amazing! Light & pillowy with flaky layers. We ordered 8 doughnuts between the 4 of us so that we could sample more flavors. For us, the outstanding ones were: blueberry hill, lemon bar, churro & maple bacon. I picked up a coconut cream to go for my MIL, but haven't gotten feedback yet. I had hoped to pick up a doggie doughnut for Martini, but they were either sold out or it wasn't an option for opening day because the display was empty. JT said his flagship coffee was very good. SIL enjoyed her latte (with a sweet little heart on top), my bro became a newly-invigorated man after his iced latte. I had a less fortunate experience with my drink order, as I don't drink coffee. I ordered an iced chai tea latte on ice & apparently, they didn't make it at first. We (by "we" I mean my hubby & bro) went back up to ask about it 3 different times. From what I understand, it wasn't made at first & then apparently made, picked up & drank by someone else with a similar name. I didn't actually get what I ordered until after we'd all finished our donuts (and the rest of my party had already drank their coffee) and we were ready to leave. We definitely appreciated the opening day celebratory doughnuts (very generous) & we will return again in the near future. Hopefully, everyone will get their drinks in time to enjoy along side their doughnuts on a less busy morning. Parlor offers online ordering that looked pretty straightforward. Several people came in for pickups while we were in line. There was also "local feature" doughnut whose flavor is inspired by the local area/community. I could not tell what it was the morning we were there, however it looked like something of strawberry mini doughnut in the case.

The best made from scratch signature, made to order doughnuts. The entire doughnut parlor was clean and the service was excellent.

Ok y'all, I have had Parlor Doughnuts in Destin and they were fabulous, now fast forward and Knoxville has one! Hell yes. These donuts are the perfect mix between a doughnut and a croissant. Simply delicious, fluffy, airy and light with loads of flavor. They also offer egg breakfast sandwiches if you are looking for a savory option instead of sweet. Very clean atmosphere as it has only been open a few months now. But don't look at the floor too hard or it may make you dizzy. They have a souvenir area as well, if you are feeling the love then go buy a coffee mug, a t-shirt, hat, etc. They have a nice indoor dining area along with a large pet friendly patio, so bring your furry friends. I'm serious when I tell you to go check these doughnuts out, they do have minis but majority of them are huge! Believe me I'm already planning my next visit. I hope you love them just as much as I did. Cheers & Enjoy!

Butter pecan praline

We were so excited to try these donuts but so disappointed. We got there about an hour before they closed. The chairs were turned up on the tables, mops blocking the restrooms and restroom doors blocked open. Very uninviting. We ordeeed 4 donuts and it took the waiter 30 minutes to prepare our order. Got home and ready to dig in but oh my. Two were burnt in the bottom and all 4 were dry. Not good at all and more importantly, we wasted over $17. Maybe today just wasnt their day. Note: we ordered maple and butter pecan praline.

The donuts here are excellent. I would recommend coming here

This is the first time that I am going to be able to check out the parlors donuts here and see how they are and see what they Intel. I tried several different varieties within here and I have to admit they are superb. The service is also very fast and very efficient as well too and it also to make sure you give Taylor a raise and I would Taylor recommend her to have a great day guys.

Excellent variety of really special, very tasty doughnuts. Big bonus points that they can make almost any flavor while you waot, so they never really run out of all their great flavors. Veautoful setting too, inside and out. Lovely patio area.

We came, we bought, we ate and we were not impressed. Donut tasted old and was dry. So I'm adding this because yelp needed more words

The place had 2 customers silently sitting and maybe working on their computers but the whole place felt sterile and lifeless. I wasn't greeted and stood at the counter for a few minutes while the lone employee arranged items until I finally asked if I could order. I wanted to sample a variety- so I got an apple fritter, a snickerdoodle donut, a buttermilk old fashioned, and a blueberry Pączki. The apple fritter was the best of those 4. The snickerdoodle was just a traditional cinnamon sugar donut. The base was a bit dry yet also tasted oily. The buttermilk old fashioned had a similar greasy flavor and not the tang I'd expect from this type of donut. The Pączki was just a minimally filled jelly donut...and the dough was very greasy. Normally, the dough is more bready and has a more rich flavor. The ones I've always eaten in the past are heavily filled. This place seems like it has potential but it just lacks the quality or personality I'm looking for in a local gem. Nothing was awful but nothing was great either.

They told me it was right there too. No obvious signage. I got a single cookie. They're not cheap but they look amazing and I was expecting something wonderful. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Cookie was really, really dry (probably not fresh), pretty rock hard (again, likely not fresh - it was the Friday after Christmas??) and it was so sugary I couldn't even eat a quarter of it. Maybe another flavor would have been better? Especially if it were made that morning. Staff was fine. Not overly friendly, but not rude. If I go back it'll be to one of their main locations, not in Kern's.

My husband and I both went with the Complete crepe (eggs, ham, and swiss cheese) which also came with a side of fries. We also decided to split a bananas foster crepe for a bit of sweet after our main meals. Everything we sampled was excellent. If I'd had more time, I would have loved hanging out here for a while. I wound up with a cranberry oat scone and a blueberry and raspberry hand tart. The employee was very pleasant and warm. I appreciated her eagerness to help and positive attitude despite my late arrival. The baked goods sadly didn't really live up to my expectations. The cranberry oat scone was the much better of the two; it was pleasantly sweet and had the proper scone texture and only a little dry. Unfortunately, the hand tart had several edges that I discovered later had been burnt. This impacted the flavor of the whole item and sadly diminished it greatly. The fruit filling was tasty at least, though I didn't get much raspberry from it -- mostly blueberry. I'd be down to try again in the future, just would come earlier in the day when the selection is a bit larger and the products available are a bit more "choice," let's say. I appreciated the kind service and lovely vibes!
