The chicken satay was good. But the pad Thai, which one should expect to be smokin good. Was really lacking. No real Thai flavor. The service was okay. Not very accommodating. The vibe in the room pace was what you'd expect for a strip mall. Only one other couple came in while we were there. Oh and the black rice was over cooked and broken.

Great hidden gem for someone looking for good flavors from the East Side. The service is quick and plenty of seating for small to large groups. Located right next to Ross and same parking lot of Round Table Pizza & McDonald's off of Olympic Dr exit. Pictures on the wall of the menu items but not all pictures are labeled. Several dishes look good, but unsure what they are. Ordered Yellow Curry, Pad Thai & Pineapple Fried Rice. We asked for the hot spice to be on the side as we went family style. Each person able to set their level of spice. Drinks are from a can, looks like the a soda machine is installed but not yet being used. Curry was a 5, excellent taste that reminded me of southern CA flavors. The Fried Rice was a 3, good but lacking something. The Pad Thai was a 4, great flavors but noodles a little mushy. Highly recommend to try this spot, show some love as we need to keep them busy as this is my new Thai spot.

New Thai restaurant in Gig Harbor that I'd predict is going to do well. The food was fantastic, and I'm grateful they have a few combo options on the menu, because it's never easy to just have one dish. We ate in, and they seemed a bit understaffed as service was slow. That didn't take away from the experience at all though and I also understand they're new and still figuring things out. I can't wait to try more of the menu here!

Great flavors! Food came out quickly, hot, and friendly service. Restaurant had nice ambiance, is clean, and was playing some soft Asian music in the background. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the mood for tasty Thai food. Order the fish sauce with chilis if you want to add some extra flavor to your dish!

Great menu choices. We had fried Gyoza, Garlic delight, Green curry and another noodle/chicken dish. Everything was delicious. I'm relatively new to Thai cuisine, but after my experience here I'm looking forward to more visits. The ingredients were fresh, spicy, hot, and well presented. Service was prompt and attentive. The ambiance is casual. Overall, a 4.5 rating.

The food is great but a little warm on hot days. Chicken pad Thai is the best I have had in the harbor. To go is best on Summer hot days.

The place is lovely. There was only one server who seemed to be doing it all but she did a great job and was very nice. when i asked for tofu as my protein she asked if i was vegetarian or vegan to make sure there was nothing in the dish that I shouldn't have. Props for that. I had golden cashew which apparently can be vegan when modified. golden cashew is made with garlic, chili, vinegar, and our signature house sauce. Fresh vegetables are sautéed and the dish is finished of with your choice of meat, roasted cashews, and a side of steamed rice. Delish and I was able to bring some home for lunch today My friend had the Saigon Crepe Gluten-Free. VM. Also known as Bánh Xèo, literally translates to "sizzling pancake", is named for the loud sizzling sound it makes when the rice batter is poured into the hot skillet. Our Saigon Crêpe is a Vietnamese savory fried pancake made of rice flour, water, and turmeric powder. It is stuffed with bean sprouts, carrots, onions, and a choice of chicken and prawns, or tofu. I tasted it and was super good. I'd get that the next time.

The seating was bench and table, not too busy early afternoon to sit where we wanted. Ordered Pho (Combo & Brisket), Banh Mi Chicken and a Bubble Peach Tea. The food took longer than a typical Pho restaurant takes. The boba tea came out right away. The drink was grainy, which leads me to assume they use the powdered mixture. The Tapioca balls were mushy. Not recommended as this drink gets a 2. The Banh Mi was good 3.5, meat was not dry and plenty of fillings. The negative was the mayo, a little too much as it overpowered the taste. I needed to add sauces to counter. The Pho bowls were excellent 5, the regular was still a lot. They need to add a smaller bowl. There was a lot of meat, more than normal. The broth was not greasy. The side toppings were fresh and not wilted. Highly recommend trying this place out. We happen to drive by and the colorful windows caught our attention. We only ate Vietnamese dishes, but they have other items fried rice to tenders to satisfy any party. Next time I come out, I will try their noodle bowls.

I'd just gotten off the train from eating and drinking my way around Portland and you couldn't welcome me back with a few more choices for a good meal? But since I ended up at Thai Pepper, all was forgiven. Hands down, their pumpkin curry is on my list of all time top ten favorite foods. It's spicy, it's sweet, it's nutty, it's soothing -- it has pumpkin. The curry sauce is so good I poured what I had leftover on my mashed potatoes the next day. Everything about Thai Pepper rocks. The service is great and so is the vibe. The location is a little out of the way though, which may be why I forget to go more often-- even though there's usually good parking and it's right around the corner from the salon that cuts my hair! The portion sizes were large, especially for the price point, which made it feel like good value. The restaurant itself is small so never unnecessarily crowded. Service could've been better, we had to request serval times for tableware and water refills. My only issue is that the spice level was underwhelming. I ordered a spice level 4, and even though I know spice is subjective, I'm not someone who can handle super spicy food even I was still wishing for more heat. If you're someone who enjoys bold spice, you may be disappointed. The standout dish of the meal was definitely Red Curry Duck. It was rich, flavorful, and easily the best thing we ordered.

I booked a reservation here for my dad's birthday dinner. He's been here in the past and loved it so I thought it was a good safe choice, but it fell a little lackluster for him specifically which is a bummer since it was HIS birthday. We started out with some Chicken Satay and Crab Rangoon, both of which were fire. We haven't ordered those here before so can confirm the satay is a new favorite. Can't really mess up the rangoon, but still it was delicious! My dad is a sucker for Panang Curry with Chicken but they will only make it here with salmon for whatever reason? Bummer number one. He went with the Crying Tiger as his back up and when they brought it out, we were all wowed! Presentation is a 10/10 for sure. He ordered it medium rare though and it came out WELL done which, for the price, was a letdown. I ended up doing something I never do and broke free of the shackles that their Pad Thai has on me. The Boat Noodles looked so delicious that I decided to full send and give it a try - as a huge soup girlie the curiosity was just too strong. The broth is very herb forward but also still has a complex, delicious flavor. Spice level was on point. The waitress told me it was very beef forward and boy it was - but it was tasty! TONS of generously sliced beef. Loved the rice noodles too. My sister ordered the Crab Fried Rice which was an insane portion and uniquely plated. Large serving of fried rice covered in a Thai style omelet with a HEAPING pile of crab on top, served with a yummy Thai spicy mayo. She let me try a couple bites and it was pretty superb. It's a little pricy at $40 but it's at least two meals so I guess it's justified. I put in my reservation notes that it was a birthday dinner and they were kind enough to bring out a free slice of cheesecake that was beautifully presented with dry ice and all. Even with a few hiccups in this dinner we will definitely still continue to frequent. Over the 5+ times we've been here this was the first kind of "meh" experience but it was still good!

The restaurant is beautiful and well decorated, and the staff were very friendly. I do wish they had checked on us a bit more since there were a few moments we waited even though the restaurant wasn't busy at this moment. The food was excellent and made perfectly. We ordered the crab rangoons, calamari rings, chicken fried rice, and the pad ka pao, which ended up being our favorite dish we ordered. We will definitely be back!
