A cute little restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. Good options for vegetarians. The ambiance is fun. We would definitely recommend and return. They have a solid carry out business.

Total hidden gem. Nice decor. I got Pad Thai, which had great sauce and texture. I would have ventured for something spicier, but I burned my mouth yesterday. My one request, brown rice?

Yum! It's not often a place has great flavor in every dish, but this place knocked it out of the park. We started with Num Tom Beef (wow), then had mains of basil fried rice and Penang curry, and finished mango sticky rice . The service and ambiance were lovely and we're definitely going to be repeat customers!

Immediately greeted upon entering. Open, minimally decorated restaurant, in a good way. Light colors and natural light..tranquil, soft Thai music playing in the background. I ordered take-away, shrimp bikinis and spring rolls. Everything was hot and crispy but the flavors were just blah. Not good, not bad. The best part was the interior of the restaurant and the homemade sweet and sour sauce which came with both appetizers.

Very cute and quiet ambiance with great customer service. The food was AMAZING! I ordered the samosas, tofu green curry and a non-alcoholic shirley temple. I literally went back 2 days later!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ran in here for a quick lunch. I wanted my favorite soup Tom Kha, and it did not disappoint! 10/10 I got the veggie version. No notes. Perfect! The crab Rangoon was a 0/10. No flavor at all even the sweet and sour wasn't tasty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food came out SUPER quick which I appreciated because I was in a time crunch. I would've ordered more if I had more time but those were two things I love and know the come out very quickly I maybe waited 5 minutes max!

This place will always hit! I love it so much. Came here with a friend to catch up and they are always just so friendly and inviting. And the food never misses. This time around, I had to get the Tom Kha and I got some pad Thai. I love how they have specials that change with the season. My friend enjoyed her meal as well.

This place is so tasty! Took my dude here for a birthday lunch and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Service was super nice, the restaurant is so cute. The parking lot is a hazard so be careful. Get the mango sticky rice - they cook the rice with pandan!

Thai Lemon has been on my list of local places to try. As soon as you walk in you are instantly greeted and you feel like you have walked into a friends house for a delicious meal. The decor is nice and welcoming. There is a beautiful backdrop with the restaurants name. Thai Lemon offers lunch until. 3:00. Which is an appetizer and one entree. I ended up ordering off of the regular menu. The crab wontons were perfectly crispy and the there was plenty of filling on the inside. I ordered the panang chicken as my entree which was served with a side of rice. The curry was flavorful and did not pack a lot of heat which I appreciated. The portion was enough for me to have some leftovers which is always a plus for me.

This restaurant is super cute, tucked away in the van dorn shopping plaza. It's impossible to see from the road so I missed it for a whole year after moving here! I was really intrigued hearing about the ambiance and the rave reviews and finally got to try it for myself with takeout. When I came in, I felt like I was entering someone's home, it was so cozy and I was greeted by a very kind woman with a smile. I ordered the chefs special shrimp clay pot, the chicken karipuffs, and the fish cakes. The clay pot was very good and a bonus is that the tails were cut off! Next time I might order it without spice as it seemed like it was just sprinkled with crushed red pepper and seemed to take away the true flavor of the dish. Regardless it was still great. The karipuffs and fish cakes were delicious especially with the tasty cucumber sauce they came with. I might be dreaming of those karipuffs for a while now. I'm excited to dine in next time and try more of the menu!

The restaurant is a small quaint place with plenty if parking. The restaurant is very well decorated in Alexandria Van Dorn St. Each plate we order is large (more than plenty for 2 people.) We came on a Tuesday night before Xmas. We ordered the crispy fish, green curry and Mango sticky rice for dessert. The meal was excellent and came quickly. Total bill $57.67 not including tip. We will definitely return again.

Got to this place and was first very happy with the parking situation. No parallel parking needed, small parking but it's a parking lot! Walked in and got greet right away by staff. We had a party of six and ordered so many different types of food. After we place the order, everything comes out fairly fast so I would rate service to be amazing. The restaurant is small but very roomy and cozy. Food ratings in my opinion: 1. Fried chicken wings: crispy, seasoned, perfect. Comes with chili sauce 2. Gyoza tasted home made and different. Crispy. 3. Pad see yew: Noodles and protein was perfectly seasoned, tasted perfect with the jalapeno 4. Pad Thai: A bit smaller portion than other thai places but was seasoned well. 5. Massamun Curry: Interesting taste and delicious with rice. Not my fav but it's everyone at the table's favorite. 6. Whole fried fish: The star of the show!!!! I love this dish and so does everyone else. Super crispy, sauce that comes with it was amazingly seasonsed. Price is reasonable. 7. drunken Noodles: yum! Always one of our go to dish at thai restaurant! 8. Fried tofu: Crispy, not enough sauce but still really good! 9. Papaya salad: Not my fav as it seems to be missing a little sour but still good. 10. Banana roti: MY FAV. It's soft on the outside and inside. Perfect amount of chocolate sauce and condense milk. I would be able to eat the dish by myself. 11. Fried banana and vanilla ice cream: fried banana egg rolls are crispy and so good witth ice cream. but nothing special 12. Mango sticky rice: I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to bring 5 of these dishes home because whyyy is it so good! The sticky rice is moist, soft and perfect with the mango. Lots of mango and rice but i should have bought one to bring home because the taste is amazing! My favorite thai restaurants mango sticky rice! Over all, with 12 dishes later, between the 6 of us, the price total was $187 which is not bad at all for alexandria area. If I'm ever in the area, i would love to come here again!

They walked us to our table and was so accommodating. On an extremely hot day like today (103F) it was refreshing to walk into a nice cool and nicely lit and decorated place. It was very relaxing. The parking was off the street and is free for 2 hours. There were plenty of spots available just at the front of the restaurant. We ordered the Whole Fried Flounder and the Massaman Curry with shrimp and for dessert the Magnolia Creme Crepe. I am partial to good Crepe dessert... and this place offered different selection. A plus! The food was freshly prepared and was very tasty. I would recommend trying this place out. You will not be disappointed.

4 stars for the food 4 stars for the ambiance…read more3 stars for the service on the water refills, which was sporadic at best. Last night I brought a couple of friends over to the Sisters Thai in Alexandria ... because I had had good experiences in the past. We were seated at our table of four, and had to wait 20 mins to be served water from the start. That was unusual - and although the restaurant was busy it was not packed, so the delay was odd. We ordered the food which was great - high recommendations for the branzino, the crispy eggplant, the roti curry and the mango & sticky rice. The water service was challenging; at one point during the meal when a server came to do a refill, she spilled the water on the table near the food dishes - apologized - but didn't clean up! (It was not a few drops - it was a sizeable amount that warranted wiping up since our group had to reach over for the food dishes in the center). She took off after right after spilling it - and didn't come back! So I eventually caught the eye of another sever and asked for the water to be wiped down. The evening went on - the meal really noteworthy ... but water was clearly becoming more and more of an issue - and this was critical especially considering that the roti curry was spicy! After yet another 20 minutes of trying to catch the eye of anyone with a pitcher I had to get up and request water from the bar area. So although the evening was pleasant it was somewhat disruptive with this lack of coordination - which is really is a basic of any establishment. I would go back again for the food - although I'm disappointed that I brought friends along to try the restaurant and the service was not as expected. As I write this I want to add that if it was a one-off with a water delay I would understand - but it was consistently overlooked, without a spillage being wiped promptly that started to create a less than satisfactory experience. Thank you in advance to the Sisters Thai for more training for their staff on enhancing the customer experience.

Great Food....& Ambiance to match!…read more I am slightly obsessed with visiting Thai restaurants around the DMV and this one does not disappoint. Set in Alexandria, off the 495 corridor, is Pasara Thai restaurant featuring a casual dining experience and vibe with interesting tables with wood carvings and artwork throughout. The lighting is nice and you can find intimate settings for a date night or tables large enough for friends and family. The food menu is crazy big, extensive and seems to have something for everyone. The food is usually quite spicy, so if it isn't your thing, as for mild flavoring! Everything I have ordered from the pad Thai, curry Thai dishes and roasted duck have been delicious....full of flavor and of great portions for the price point. This time around, I placed an order to go for dinner later, and the staff was so nice. I ordered Roasted Duck Basil & Fried Crab-Shrimp Balls. The duck dish was one of the best I have ever had. It had the right amount of spice, heat and flavor. Not to mention, loaded with stir-fry vegetable and a sauce that was finger-licking good.....simply, delicious!! My favorite dishes thus far, is the Pad Thai....very popular here and the Spicy Seafood Pad See Ew. Was seated by a delightful young lady, and found the decor and layout to be quite pleasing; modest by elegant. As for the fare, it was indeed quite worth the walk. Ordered a bowl of Tom Yum and the Pad Thai Mun Goong. The Tom Yum was solid and quite flavorful, a flux of tangy lemongrass with the oniony sweetness of steeped scallions, and enoki mushrooms to provide some heartiness. The Pad Thai Mun Goong was a chef specialty pad Thai made with stir fried rice noodle, prawns shrimp tomalley oil (a crucial element for this version), egg and bean sprouts, naturally topped with green onions, peanuts and a lime for squeezing, and this also was quite phenomenal. Savory, sweet, a little tingle of sourness from the citrus in the mid-palate, and the juicy, briny shrimp balancing the dense carbs and rich flavorful sauce.
