I love the crispy tofu. The best I've had since moving to utah. Yellow curry is super tasty, a little bit on the spicey side, we ordered mild. Tom kha soup is on point. Service was super friendly. Hardly anyone was in the restaurant so it was just us and one other table, social distancing is not an issue. We also ordered the fried rice and it was delicious, we ordered ours with no meat. It came with broccoli which was nice! I would definitely come here again and recommend it! Only thing I would change are the serving sizes. The food was delicious. I got the drunken noodles and my friend got the pad Thai, both tasted amazing! However the wait was terrible. 20 minutes to get seated, then we waited 20 minutes before getting water and our order taken, then another 40 minutes before our food got out. I know it was an honest mistake that we were forgotten about originally and they make everything to order so the food takes awhile, but we were really hungry. Okay, first off the food is great.... if you can get it. Ordered food on their online website. Showed up at scheduled time. After receiving an email from them and from chownow. The person in front and behind me where complaining because no one was picking up the phone. I'm defending them- "food is great, next time order online". Then I find out they don't have my order. I show her both emails and then watch her pull out the show now tablet that had been neglected. I then get another email that my order won't be ready for 30 more minutes. As a travel provider, I recently took on a job in Utah. I started my day with breakfast at the hotel, then dove into work, which kept me busy until 7:30 PM--by then, I was absolutely famished and my mind was clouded, I just kept driving around trying to find a place to eat at. When our entrees arrived I had to ask for plates (3 in our party) we sat looking at the food while we waited for our server to return with plates, when he did we had to ask for utensils, He disappeared again. We never saw the server again, didn't check back with us, we had no water refill, we had to ask another server for a to-go container. When our server passed our table we asked for the check, He never came back to pick up our credit card, I finally got up and stood in line with the customers picking up phone orders. A different server took my payment, when it gave the tip percentage I did a custom tip,I tipped $4 on a $40 check, the server looked at the screen and sarcastically commented "Have a blessed evening" First and last time here, there are plenty of options in town. We love David, Alyssa, and the rest of the Thai Land family. They treat us like family every time we come in. They make the best ham fried rice I have ever had. Their yellow curry with mango is my fave. My husband loves the crispy noodle curry with pineapple added. We always get dessert, the mango sticky rice is to die for. They ran out of mangos last time we were in (we usually go pretty late), so they substituted strawberries on top, which was also very yummy and fun to try. Try it, you won't regret it! Take this into consideration: your children can eat more than American diner burgers and chicken strips. My husband and I used to avoid restaurants like this because of our children's plain palette. They claimed to hate Thai food, whining along the way here. We ordered a few different dishes for the family which included pineapple curry, orange chicken, beef waterfall, fried tofu, and white rice. The Thai iced tea here first reeled them in and then when the food arrived, they literally ate more than I've ever seen with any other meal - home cooked or at a restaurant! After seeing all the reviews on how good the Crispy Noodle Curry is we had to give this place a try. When we walked in at noon on a Saturday we were the only ones in the restaurant but, by the time we left 30 mins later the place was half filled. This indeed is a popular place. We ordered our curry with shrimp for a couple of bucks more. It was brought in a huge bowl, the size pho typically comes in. It definitely had the curry flavor more like a Massaman curry taste. It was good. It had the crispy fried noodles coming up out of the side of the soup with cooked noodles in the broth. I would have preferred more noodles in the soup. There were 6 good sized shrimp cooked perfectly. The hostess and waitress were great. They kept our water glass filled and were pleasant and helpful. read more

Some of the best Thai food I've found! The star of this restaurant is the food, and let me tell ya, it's killer. The flavors are delicious, the recipes are unique, and everything is cooked perfectly. Thai land is located a couple blocks west of I-15 in Draper. I would describe the restaurant itself as simple and underwhelming, it's not in the nicest building nor does it have the nicest decor, but it's clean and pleasant. More of a "hole in the wall" joint with amazing food than a swanky downtown date spot if you ask me. But as plain as it is, what you're really here for is the food, and in that respect, you won't be disappointed. It seems like their special/unique dish is the crispy noodle curry and man is it delicious! Its like a normal curry but with ramen noodles inside and crispy noodles on top - it's like nothing I've ever tried before. The flavor is so good we were just taking spoonfuls of it plain by the end of our meal. We also got the beef waterfall, the meat was flavorful and cooked to tender perfection. This food was classic and delicious thai food, but what I loved most was the service. My toddler was having a bit of a tantrum and didn't want to share plates (but as you know, thai food is meant to be eaten family style!). I asked the waiter for a separate order of pad thai so she would stop crying but the waiter understood immediately and instead, brought our big plate back to the kitchen, split it apart and made her a child size plate of her own, complete with the peanut and lime garnish! Not a great experience We ordered via door dash both the times we were here(September 5th and 12th) but both the times our order was delayed. The first time after getting the notification from DoorDash that our food was ready for pickup I went and was told it wasn't ready so I had to wait a total of 30 minutes inside but the waitress was super sweet and she was profusely apologizing so I let it go. We ordered volcano chicken and spicy fried rice at that time. Volcano chicken was not good. There were really less chicken and a lot of fried batter . The spicy fried rice was good which was a relief The second time while returning from our tour we made the order to go via DoorDash from there itself so I sticked with the spicy fried rice ( which tasted good before), pad Thai and sticky rice mango. This time too after getting the notification that my order was ready,I went to pick it up they told it wasn't ready. The lady at the reception was not helpful either.She was a little ignorant and rude.This time I spent a whole lot of 45 minutes inside the restaurant to pickup my food .It was really weary to stand there and enquire about the food every 10 minutes as they weren't even acknowledging a customer was waiting.It was disappointing .After all these this time the food was not good either. My boss and I went to this restaurant on 2/28/24. After we were seated, e we had to wait for about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. VERY poor service! HOWEVER, the food was very tasty! I feel that the food made up for the poor service. The ambiance is that of a cafe. Clean but no big deal. I honestly would not give any stars for the poor service that we received, but because the food was good, I will give 3 stars. If you are in a hurry, do not go to this restaurant. Also, they have a weird menu that only have prices if you pay cash. If you pay with a CC the prices are higher but they don't have those prices listed. ? When we payed with cash they short changed us .70, which isn't a big deal but just unprofessional and they didn't even mention it. DO NOT COME HERE ON YOUR LUNCH BREAK! Ok so I've been here quite a few times and while service is never the best... lately it's horrible. Today was the last straw. So I work down the street and it's about 10 minutes from clocking out in office to their front door so for my hour lunch that gives me 40 minutes. Today I came in and my friend has already been seated with menus not crazy busy about 5 tables occupied. I asked if she had ordered and she said no and that she had been there about 5 minutes. So another 5 minutes go by still no order. Finally our server comes up. We both order pad Thai 3 stars hers with chicken and mine with beef and two Thai iced teas and two waters. The server brings the two Thai teas but no water. I asked for the water again. She brought them. Then the place gets busy because it is now noon and I have to leave by 12:20 to make it back to work on time. No food yet at 12:05 my friend talks to the guy in charge and before she can get her whole sentence out he snaps at her and says everyone waiting for food. This is not our first time here we have become very regular. For him to be so rude is unacceptable. 12:10 her pad Thai arrives. My food never came. At 12:20 I ask if my food is ready and if so put it to go and bring the check. Other people sit down and she brings my food and instead of bringing the check she goes to the other table. I have now wasted my whole lunch hour and the only thing that I was able to consume is an iced tea. I'm sure she realized she messed up when we walked up to pay without our checks. This was the worst service I've ever had. I can get pad Thai anywhere and for less than a $15 bill. I suggest that this place hire more staff especially in the kitchen to keep customers happy and fed. Tips: Their lunch specials are always curry. Each day a different curry with soup rice and egg roll or pot sticker. Not much choice and I frankly don't want curry soup with a side of soup. Beware of ordering take out our orders are never right.
