Lunch Special
Hannah F.

I love Thai Land in Sandy! First - the lunch special is SUCH A GREAT DEAL! The perfect amount of food and such a great price point. The food is delicious! My go-to is the Masaman Curry, spring rolls, and the tom kha soup. It's filling, flavorful, and I leave happy and satisfied every time. The service is great! They are quick, kind, and accommodating. 10/10 recommend!

Shrimp Pad Thai $21 ($5 for shrimp). Too expensive. Not enough food for $20 and $5 for 6 shrimp is criminal.

For $20 you should get more food. And $5 for 6 shrimp is criminal. It was Fresh, but Over priced for a bowl of noodles.

Gyoza

The staff is the star of the place. Our waitress were very friendly and accommodating even though we came in pretty much towards the later part of the evening. Everyone else checked in on us and felt very friendly. Our appertizer was gyoza and it came out hot and crunchy. For main dish we had thom yum with chicken and laab with pork. Our thom yum was great, I like it. I wish they had the little candle light at the bottom of the bowl to keep the soup warm. The laab was okay, it's not my favorite flavor profile but generally it's refreshing for a salad. I think I made a mistake of ordering 2 sour tasting dishes in one go and it's hard to beat thom yum. We came a day after Valentine's just for normal dinner and were surprised all the Valentines decor was still popping.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley. Reasonably priced and nice people. They recently moved to Sandy from Draper, dang it! But they are across from the soccer stadium. Seems like the word is not getting around. I want them to succeed. Awesome food.

Sticky Rice Mango

Cozy Thai restaurant located near the freeway for easy access. I visited for the first time on my birthday and had an incredible meal and wonderful service. The food arrives so quickly! I've since been back 4 times and it's always a great experience with delicious meals. Save room for the mango sticky rice! It's the best version of this dish that I've had!

Excellent food!! So good!! The lady there was also a joy, she is so sweet. Must try!!! We will be returning again for sure.

We came here for my daughters birthday. She really wanted Thai food. And it did not disappoint! This place is delicious! You can choose your slice level on each dish from a1-5 so everyone has varying degrees of spice. That was nice. The potstickers, chicken sate and egg rolls were delicious and everyone really enjoyed their entrees. The ham fried rice was amazing! I don't remember what everyone got so I can't speak about each thing. But we will definitely come back!

Tucked away in an off location, but worth finding it! Service is great, food is great, and actually has spice if you want. Very casual. Food is great.

For many years they occupied a detached building facing 7200 south. But a couple of years ago, they moved into the strip mall directly to the south of their original location. Their spice levels can be off the charts so I'd advise starting with a level 2 of spice. Otherwise the food can be overly spicy. I recently tried their Swai Choo Chee, a white fish in the catfish family. It was really flavorful and the curry in which it was served was a change from the usual green curry I typically order. The staff is friendly and very polite and being Thai natives, they know how to make the food correctly. I will continue to support Chabaar when I'm in Midvale and only wish it was in an area closer to my home.

Absolutely amazing experience at Red Basil Thai!…read more We were the only ones there, which made the whole night feel super intimate and relaxed. The inside is beautiful--dim lighting with glowing blue lights hanging overhead, tropical greenery, and a really cool, almost magical vibe. It honestly felt like stepping into another world. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken, and it was incredible--rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The chicken was tender and soaked up all that flavor. For dessert, I had the coconut ice cream with sticky rice, and it was the perfect sweet finish--simple, warm, and so satisfying. Between the atmosphere and the food, this place is such a hidden gem. The noodles were flavorful, the sauce was perfectly balanced, and there were plenty of vegetables. The tofu was cooked really well, which is not always the case with delivery. Overall, a homerun. The mango sticky rice was the highlight. Slightly warm sticky rice with coconut and perfectly sweet ripe mango. Just delicious. Next time I'm in SLC I will definitely order from here again.
