My wife's glass had someone else's chapstick or something on it. Thai iced tea was way too sweet/rich. Complementary cabbage soup was easily too salty. Rice for massaman curry was mushy/paste-like. Pad see ew tasted more like soy sauce than anything else. Server didn't acknowledge that my wife (or I) had a poor dining experience, didn't ask to help make it better. We enjoyed several different types of curry here. I ordered the least hot option while my oldest child picked a 3 hotness and my husband ordered a 4. It was fine for all of us although I did see my husband put more sauce on that they leave on the table. The service was prompt and they cooks (who I presumed where also the owners checked on us and also brought out watermelon after we finished which made my kids super happy! We've heard that Thai Jasmine has Thai buffet on the first Sat. of each month so we've decided to drive almost 40 miles up north to give it a try. The service was really good, and it's fun to have a little bit Som Tum, Pad Thai, different types of curry, fried rice, spring roll...etc at once. The food was a little bit too salty for me, but it might be fine for others. We probably won't drive up again just to go there, however, we will stop by another time if we visit Antelope Island in the future. read more

Literally my favorite place to eat. You can tell the owner/chef knows what she's doing! I have frequently had the Pad Thai (very flavorful without being drowned in sauce as I've seen at other Thai restaurants), Red & Green Curries, Sweet and Sour Chicken, as well as several of the soups (all good, but the Cabbage and Pineapple soups are my favorite). Spring rolls are also excellent, both the fresh rolls with peanut sauce and the fried rolls with sweet & sour. I commented to the chef that even the water seemed to taste better there, and she informed us that they go to great lengths to keep their water properly filtered. I now live out of state, but anytime I'm in town visiting family, we make it a priority to make it here at least once, if not more! If you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and check it out! read more

Having moved to the Syracuse area a few months back, I was really hoping to find a good Thai food place in the area since the best ones are normally tucked away from the general public. Unfortunately, Thai Jasmine didn't do it for me. I ordered the red curry at the second hottest level. While the heat was mostly present, the flavor was completely absent. I think the primary culprit was due to a lack of vegetables, there were some, but missing a great deal to balance out the meat and sauce. Along with this, I'm used to very flavorful Thai food, and my meal could have used a TON more seasonings. Also, and I'm not sure if this is due to me getting a takeout order, but I was given an excess amount of meat and sauce, but a very small portion of rice. I had to go home and cook more rice to have enough for a full meal. The employees seem nice, but definitely not worth spending extra money to return. read more

This is the most authentic Thai food you will get not only in Davis county but in my opinion ALL of Utah! It is a small family only ran business so each employee is genuinely respectful and you can tell they are very grateful for your business, I say that because they literally treat you like family when you eat there. This is one of our favorite places in the area. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make every visit a unique and personal experience. There are a lot of good options on the buffet, and the selection is a little different each day. The special Saturday buffet is something we are still looking forward to. The curries are especially good. The to-go portions are very generous for the price. Once, the owner gave me a complementary box of egg rolls with my order at no cost. My wife and I ended up at Thai Jasmine for a date night. We'd been there once before, a few years ago, but didn't remember that it was anything remarkable. We had an AWESOME experience this time! We ordered beef salad, grilled pork, and chicken wings. We asked to not have any rice or noodles (we're eating ketogenic), and the kitchen made us a plate of vegetables instead. Hoooooooooly cow, each dish was absolutely delicious! We kept saying "Why have we not been here again?" through the meal. I wish I could eat it again this morning for breakfast! We read other reviews and saw they were mixed but decided to give it a try. I got the Pad Thai and my husband got the shrimp fried rice. I tried the shrimp fried rice and I couldn't eat it. There was something they cooked with it that did not taste good to me. My husband thought it was "just ok." My pad thai was very salty and had a strong soy sauce flavor to it. I love pad thai and I wanted to like this one but it was disappointing and there were only 3 small pieces of chicken in it. We will not be back. read more

First, for newbies or young children, we selected the Pad Thai. That's a great first Thai dish of vermicelli in a mild sauce w/peanuts, bean sprouts, veggies and meat if desired. Our young daughter loved it. We also had Tom Kha Kai soup - coconut based broth with subtle spicing, chicken mushrooms and other vegetables - more than a meal in a bowl. And for the spice lovers - a green curry that one can add chicken or shrimp . All was preceded by a bowl of soup served w/a extra welcoming spirit from Mr. Pukata. Please trust us - go! I felt like I had to be quiet and my kids were being too loud even though they weren't. I'd recommend playing music just so it isn't so quiet. Food was just okay, overpriced and way too much bamboo! It was also very dirty, the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a few days.

My husband and I have tried many different Thai restaurants all over the country. We were so pleasantly surprised to find this little gem! We had a coconut soup, curry and noodle dish that were all so delicious! My only complaint is that the curry seemed to have too many bamboo shoots but other than that it was a great experience.
