Best Spring Rolls ever!!! Fresh ingredients, delicious peanut dipping sauce, crunchy, flavorful, amazing. I split the order with my husband. We also split an order of Chicken Yellow Curry with rice and Pork Drunken Noodle. They made the order gluten-free and without bell pepper; the flavors for each dish was deliciously different. I had a glass of their house Pinot Gris and it was the perfect pairing for everything. We plan to make this a regular stop on future trips through Redding!!!! read more

Thai Hut is my go-to for takeout. They serve authentic, fresh food that is always delicious! The drunken noodles never disappoint, the spring rolls are amazing and the pineapple curry is one of my favorites! I've had just about everything on the menu and haven't had anything I didn't like. The owners clearly take a lot of pride in the food they serve and the service is always fast, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. This place is very busy. The service is good. The menu is big. We ordered mango Thai fried rice，a bowl of pho, a cup of Thai tea. All taste very good. The portion is plenty. They don't open during the weekend though. They have two bathrooms, very clean. I would want to come back again! read more

I was doing the Laundry across the street and I have been to the Classic Hollywood "Chao Prya" which is in the shadow of the Capital records building, Best Thai Food made for the Stars. I Went in to buy a Thai Coffee and they had 2 people ordering and still walking in. Their was NO Order, the Waitress Ignored me serving other people and not me. With Lousy Service I was then told they could reheat me some Thai Coffee { at over $5.00.) That was it... I said No and left. I was surprised this has to be the Smallest Thai Place I ever saw. The food its was decent. The place needs help with its operations. The first time I placed an order I arrived to pick it up to be told that one of my dishes they were out of. You need to keep the person taking orders on top of what items you do and do not have. You should never let some place an order for something you do not have. This place is alright. The food that I order does not taste like thai food but that doesn't mean that it taste bad. I guess I expected to be like any other thai restaurant. Maybe it because I ate at many thai restaurant before. I had order chicken pad thai and it taste nothing like the pad thai that I usually have, when I order in other thai restaurant. It taste like yellow curry. I think they should of just call it curry noodle. I also order papaya salad and I don't like it. It taste like carrots and lime juice. Was very disappointed. What the pho!!! This place is incredible. I love Thai food but had never had pho before. I ordered the large order of beef pho and since I had never had it before the waitress helped me to understand the spices to determine how I liked things and then actually just prepared it for me. We eat a lot of Thai food, but Thai Hut is hands down my favorite. Friendly, quick service and delicious food -- try the fried rice ball salad and drunken noodles with beef! I'm glad I have plans to go again tomorrow, otherwise just typing this out might send me into craving overload. Don't forget your Thai tea, or the coconut shake if they have it available! The location is the one not-so-great part. It's easy to miss if you don't know exactly where it is, and it's very small. Oh, YES!!! We have an abundance of good Thai restaurants in Redding, but Thai Hut holds a special place in the hierarchy. Consistently excellent and interesting dishes, efficient and friendly service, and very reasonable prices. Our Thai brother-in-law gives it very high marks as well. Being retired, we try to arrive at either 11:15 or 1:15 to avoid the lunch rush, and would recommend that to others. read more

This is my main place to eat out when I'm in town. I've really enjoyed many different items, and my daughter loves the Pho enough to order it each time. The service is delightful. It is very small and modest location, but that works for me. One downside (not horrible, but unusual) is that I've had some variation in a few dishes. They're not made the same way on different occasions. They've still been good, but there can be differences (maybe depending on who is cooking that night?). Regardless, I will return. read more

Stopped by today and tried the pad se ew and the some spicy Thai rice. I am comfortable ordering hot at most places but this was pretty spicy, I will probably go medium next time.
