This restaurant never disappoints me!…read more My boyfriend and I came about an hour before closing and were still able to get seated. The restaurant is very spacious, with plenty of tables available. The servers were really nice, although it was sometimes difficult to get their attention. This was our third time here, and we had to walk up to the front a couple of times to ask for more food or utensils. I also noticed that other reviews mentioned something similar, so just something to be aware of! Here's what we got (FYI, the portions were pretty generous, so I had to take some food home): Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp (5/5): Very flavorful, with the perfect amount of veggies and shrimp. Would definitely get this again! Fried Crab Cream Cheese Wontons (5/5): The best item here! I really love how crispy they are, and you can tell they're made to order. The dipping sauce that comes with them is also perfect! Pad See-Ew with Combo Meat (4.5/5): I really liked that it came with broccoli because eating it with the noodles helped balance out the dish. The combo meat came with beef, pork, and chicken, I believe. Overall: A great place to dine in and enjoy some Thai food! Definitely coming back again.

We got there around 11:30 AM, and it wasn't busy at all, which was a huge plus! We got seated right away, and our server was super sweet and answered all of our questions. We started with the Thai tea, and I'm so glad we did because it was SO good! It was refreshing, and I'd definitely order it again. I ordered the Lunch Combo Special ($19), which came with two veggie egg rolls, Pad Thai, Panang chicken curry, and your choice of potato soup or salad. I went with the potato soup. It came with half of a potato in a broth, and honestly, it was way better than I expected! It had a lot of flavor. I thought you got a lot of food for the price. The veggie egg rolls were nice and crunchy, and the Pad Thai was really good, especially since it was my first time trying it. My favorite part was definitely the Panang chicken curry. It had so much flavor, and I'd absolutely order it again. Overall, this is such a good lunch spot! The food was really good, the portions were great, and everyone was so nice and helpful. My friend has also ordered their lunch to go before and said they still give you a lot of food, so that's good to know too. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend stopping by for lunch. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and I left full and happy. I'll definitely be coming back!

I did have to ask for the green sauce, which was amazing and ask for chopsticks as I was given a fork and spoon The sticky rice was OK. I prefer mine to be a little bit more sticky so I can eat it with my hands instead of having to use utensils . But the portion was a very generous portion. I ordered pork pad see ew. And it wasn't until I brought it home. I realize that I was given beef instead of pork. The flavoring was OK not very sweet kind of bland but when you add the green sauce to it, it elevated the flavors and was amazing. I don't think that I would eat any of the dishes without the green sauce as the flavor profile is not very strong. Previously, I did order a pork pot Thai, but again the flavor profile was not that great until the green sauce was added I would go again, just due to convenience and the addiction to the green sauce lol

The food is flavorful, the customer service was so good, food was fresh, and done in a timely manner. The portions are large, and I had to take half home with me. Loved the mango with coconut sticky rice, but especially because it had no seeds. I can't eat seeds right now and they don't put any on this scrumptious dessert. It was the perfect combination. The rice was airy, fluffy, and really seasoned well. If you've never been, this is a real hidden gem. You can order ahead and take out or dine in, but the place only has about 5 tables so plan accordingly.

The one dish we could agree was good was my sons, otherwise this might be a 2 star review. But let me set up the stage. We've been going all day. 2 of us haven't eaten all day, and it's 3:00 pm. We're very hungry! And my wife has a headache that she is trying to brave for the sake of our daughter. She just promoted to high school a few minutes early, and really, it's her fault we are here. She wanted fried rice and this is what Yelp told us was a good place to eat. We walk in and while it's cooler than the 98 degrees outside, but it doesn't feel relieving. I later saw that the temperature was set to 85 degrees. The menu is pretty straightforward. I'm split between the beef salad, the laab and the Thai salad. I really like laab but only when it comes with sticky rice. Beef salad is one of my favorite dishes and it's really filling. But it has to be done right! The authentic spots usually get it right. The bourgeois restaurants usually get it wrong. I'm getting good vibes from Thai Season so I give it a go. Everyone else gets orange chicken, fried rice and garlic chicken with pad Thai. My daughter complained that her pork fried rice had huge chunks of broccoli and onion in it, but she still liked it. My wife felt her chow mein wasn't very good. I thought it was bland, but she liked her fried rice. My youngest liked his orange chicken and fried rice. My wife and I felt the orange chicken was just OK. Panda has better to be honest. My beef salad was just OK. Possibly the laziest way I've had it was with Italian dressing. 2 different restaurants for that too me. The way I like it, and the way I make mine, is with a homemade citrusy dressing. I could not pin the reason why this one failed, other than it tasted watered down. Hands down though, we all felt my sons garlic chicken and pad Thai was the best dish by far. I almost gave this 3 stars until I remembered I paid $92. Maybe I need to stay out of Clovis. Apparently they like bland food If there was one thing I liked, they serve everything in ready to go boxes.

My drink came out fairly quickly and was able to enjoy it while waiting for my food order. It wasn't busy today so was able to sit and wait at a table inside. Chicken was flavorful & moist. Pork belly was crispy tho a tad dry. Sticky rice was nice good! Also ordered their spring rolls, noodles & mango w/sticky rice too. Spring rolls were soft & really fresh. My preference is combo shrimp pork together but they keep theirs separate, which is fine, just different style. Peanut sauce is really great! Sometimes it's too thick & peanut buttery or too thin & vinegary at other places. Theirs is perfect! Mango was a tad under ripe. Maybe not quite in season? but again, sticky rice on point. Noodles were plentiful & delicious! Thai iced tea was really nice! Really glad I got to try LA Kitchen. Will definitely be back again

There are several reasons why I am continuously enticed to keep coming back to this food truck when…read moreI am in the area every Sunday. Chief among them is their menu, which are all authentic and hard-to-find dishes you will not get at any local Thai restaurant. The Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pow (grounded meat with Thai basil) are easily the most popular dishes, but I have also had the chance to try other dishes like Khao Kha Mu (braised pork) and Khao Man Gai (boiled chicken with ginger garlic rice). The Khao Man Gai is essentially a Thai interpretation of the Chinese dish, Hainan Chicken Rice. None of the dishes have truly impressed me so far but I appreciate they have not been very oily and overly seasoned. The dishes are a healthier, cleaner-tasting version of some of the dishes you can expect at most local dine-in restaurants. I have also not tried any of the fried and skewed meat dishes here that are usually my "cup of tea" and have deeper flavor profiles. The plates are priced appropriately for a food truck, where you will get just enough for a quick and satisfying meal. Very friendly service. You will always be greeted with a warm smile and they will make helpful suggestions on what to try if you are being indecisive. The plates come within 5 to 8 minutes while made-to-order. On rainy or windy days, they will bring your order to your car as soon as it is prepared. You will find them at the corner of E. Shepard Avenue and N. Willow Avenue on Thursdays to Sundays, 11 AM to 7 PM come rain or shine.

I found this place on instagram and knew I just HAD to try it. Located across the street from Enzo's Table, this beautiful and colorful truck is so easy to spot! There is tons of parking. They have cute red stools to sit on as you wait for your order or to eat there. The food didn't take too long to make - it took about 10-15 minutes tops! You can also order ahead online on their website. Their menu indicates that most of their food items are gluten free and can be made vegan! Everything on the menu sounded so delicious, I wish I could've gotten everything on the menu. They offer a ton of Thai dishes, drinks, and desserts! Their spice levels for their entrees can vary from no spice to "Thai hot". The woman who helped me was so incredibly friendly and helpful. I love spicy food but I figured for the sake of my stomach (and because I didn't bring tums) I'd ask how spicy their hot spice level was and she said it was very spicy. I opted to get my dishes at the medium spice level, just in case, but she offered for dry spice on the side that I could add to the dish so I can control the spice on my own and add it where I see fit - which was such a sweet suggestion! Now for the food: 〰 Pad Thai (1000/10): DELISH. You can choose to get it as is, but there's an option to choose chicken OR prawns for an extra cost. I opted for chicken! This pad thai rocked my socks off. The pad thai was so flavorful, I think next time I would even get it plain! I love pad thai and this is definitely one of my favorite pad thais I've ever had. Would definitelyyyy get this again. 〰 Pad Kra Pow (10/10): SO FREAKING FLAVORFUL! This dish did not disappoint. I got it with chicken and man, oh man, does this hit the spot. You can add a fried egg for $2 and it was cooked to perfection. Adding the egg really adds an extra oomph. I got this medium spice, but next time I would definitely get this at their hot spice level. 〰 Moo Sam Chan Tod (10/10): Deep fried pork belly - some of the best 4 words you could put together. The pork was fried to perfection. It comes with your choice of steamed or sticky rice and I definitely recommend the sticky rice! The signature spicy sauce that comes with it? SO FIRE! It really makes the dish. I could not be happier with my experience here. Good food and good service. I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their dishes and even their drinks!
