Larb - minced meat salad. Ground beef, herbs, chilies, and overall goodness! Good with sticky rice.
    Hillary T.

The BEST Lao food you'll ever try: The hole in the wall location is truly loved by my family and many others. The famous larb (meat salad) is famous for a reason - to those in Woonsocket AND outside of Rhode Island. Thai Garden's larb is packed with flavor and goes well with sticky rice. In Lao, we have the saying "bor phet bor sap" which translates to "if it's not spicy, it's not good." The larb dish can kick in after a bite or two for my non-spice folks, but don't pass on the chance to try it. To put it shortly, the restaurant's version of larb is authentic and hasn't changed over the years I've lived in Woonsocket. Next, the grilled beef tongue is great: texture and flavor are spot on. I like to pair the meat with lettuce or sticky rice. The recipe didn't seem to change and is the same as I remembered it. One item I didn't mention (but also recommend) is the wings - lightly fried, crispy, and savory. The interior can be a bit cramped so I suggest getting takeout. In the center of downtown Woonsocket, parking can be tricky, but don't let that intimidate you. Overall, Thai Garden holds a lot of dishes that replay good memories. I remember my relatives visiting from out of state, trying the takeout, and ordering containers of larb to bring home. If it's your first visit to Woonsocket or you want to try Lao food, Thai Garden is a MUST for the dishes mentioned.

    Drunken noodles with Chicken.

All I can say is WOW! Ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. perfect level of spicy and well balanced flavors. The chicken was perfectly seasoned as if it was marinating for some time. If you like your noodles a bit sweet this dish is for you. The front staff was super friendly and had a smile on her face. The only downside was that I wasnt able to eat inside because their tables arent ready. But I recomend. 10/10 chefs kiss.

Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and Spring Rolls!
    Michael M.

I can honestly say that this place has to be one of the best Thai places that I've been to in Rhode Island, but they just need to upgrade the looks of this place. Very dingy and lifeless outside and in, but thank god for the everything I've tried here! Shrimp Chicken Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, and Chicken Satay were all great!!! Staff was friendly and attentive, and made me take my attention off the hideous looks of the place itself and on how delicious the food looked and tasted.

    too much sugar in sauce
    David C.

This place seemed really small and dead from the outside, but tables get getting filled the entire time we ate there. To start off, I enjoyed their Thai Ice Tea the most! It took awhile for them to get the ingredients started though. We showed up an hour after opening time, but they ran out of lettuce and again, the Thai iced tea wasn't ready. The spring rolls were mostly veggies, and the sauce could use less sugar...you could feel the thickness from it. The chicken wings were done well, too. I didn't survive the spiciness enough to give a review of it, I'll leave that to someone else.

Odd menu combo - AWESOME food, GREAT people. Not the place for a first date but a homerun for take-out on your second date. Five stars...

Menu are now QR code but you can ask for a paper menu if you needed. Got some new things to try as well as some old favorite: - Laos sausage - get it with sticky rice. There's spicy and non-spicy. Both tastes great - they got a noodle version that's a thick udon like similar to banh canh in Vietnam which is great. - asparagus in snow and fried vegetables are also a great treat. But I prefer the asparagus as the fried veggies feel more oily. - duck curry was also really good, we ask for banh mi to eat with curry and was accommodated - nem nuong was also an epic dish, with tons of veggies to eat along Service is ok, they try their best. I asked for Thai ice tea without the cream - because I just want tea and they were not able to make it, it's very sweet

I work down the street and have been coming here for years. Honestly can't believe why it's taken me so long to write this review. I've had a variety of dishes on the menu from pad Thai, curries, anything you can think of. It all tastes amazing. The prices here are impeccable as well. Where else can you find full dishes for dinner that comes with rice for only $15? Their Thai tea and limeade are also impressive. Vohns staff also are very kind, accommodating, and offer prompt service. I've never met the manager but I've seen him interact well with other guests. This is definitely a must try restaurant!

We loved our cozy corner table. Service was great and our drinks arrived quickly after we ordered. For food, we started with the pepperoni flatbread and the pretzels with queso & mustard. They were both very good and I especially liked the queso. Our entrees were steak tips, buffalo chicken risotto, penne with vodka sauce & grilled chicken, and steak tips with mashed potatoes and vegetables. They were all served nice and hot, the portions were a great size, and they were all delicious. We opted for dessert and got the carrot cake and a chocolate martini. Yum and Yum!!!! During our dinner, the manager visited each table to ask how things were going, which was a really nice touch. We're really glad we chose Ciro's. Everything was great and we hope to return soon!

Staff members were eating in the hallway near the entrance where customers walk in, which is not something guests should have to see. Employees should be taking breaks in a designated area away from the public. To make matters worse, the bartender was openly vaping while working. That is completely inappropriate and unacceptable in a restaurant setting. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also a major concern. The overall appearance was sloppy and unkempt, making it feel unsanitary. Finally, we ordered the Buffalo chicken nachos, and they were incredibly disappointing. They were poorly prepared, skimpy on toppings, and looked like very little care went into making them. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. I expected much better and cannot recommend this restaurant.
