The only thing which surprises me is that the restaurant often seems slower than I would expect. We've been on both Mondays and Saturdays, and I honestly don't understand why this place isn't packed. Hiro Sushi has officially become our new favorite sushi restaurant, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Our table was kept cleared of our used plates as it was nice to start with a clean plate on each trip. We spent an hour and a half enjoying the tasty food and conversation. No need for me to eat dinner tonight! My friend remarked that he wished he lived closer to the New Tin Tin Buffet (we both live in Ashland) as he'd be eating there every day! Been going to this place at least once a month since last summer. Service was always friendly then went to stone cold. The waitress made us all feel very unwelcome. Forget getting a refill on soda. Honestly last time I was in wasn't even going to leave her a tip she came over what you want then had the blonde host drop the food and check. She never came back to ask us if we needed anything. So, if you're looking for service this isn't the place for you. They might want to remember the customers pay the bills and if you don't want any good luck read more

One thing before going, hours aren't very good not open on weekends and then they open during the week at 11:30am then close at 2:30pm then reopen at 5 which isn't convenient. They have a no food can be sent back or taken off which is insane because I've never heard of a restaurant making you pay for bad food. We got the orange chicken which was good and the pad Thai which was so nasty we took one bite did not eat it and was charged for it. The service is a bit rushed and not overly friendly. Refills on drinks are hard to come by. read more
