I worked at a Thai restaurant for 5 years when I was younger and love Thai food. So I really wanted to try this place out and I'm glad I did. Everything was delicious!! I tried the chicken satay and crab rangoon appetizers. Chicken was delicious and tasted like it had been marinated in curry. Peanut sauce was perfect. The crab rangoon was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I had the chicken noodle bowl ( I forgot the name) and omg was it delicious. The chicken, noodles and curry were all cooked perfectly. I also go to try the beef salad and fried rice. Both equally delicious and I don't usually like fried rice. Service was great also. I wasn't impressed by my first visit to Thai Fusion. I had read reviews beforehand that mentioned lunch specials offering different options each day of the week, along with more than just a basic entrée. It sounded like a good way to sample the menu at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, when I received my menu and asked my server about those specials, I was told they no longer exist. For a first‑time customer who came in based on those reviews, that was disappointing and set the wrong tone from the start. I even told the waitress I would likely not be staying. I did stay, looked over the menu again, and even used artificial intelligence to help identify dishes similar to ones I've enjoyed at other Thai restaurants. I eventually chose an entrée with peanut sauce, mixed vegetables, and a protein of my choice. While the presentation looked appealing, the sauce had simply been ladled over the top, which made the flavor inconsistent from bite to bite. The meal also included a starter soup--a strongly flavored beef broth with stringy beef and glass noodles(?). I ate it, but it's not something I would ever order again. The food here is fabulous! Best Thai anywhere on the Grand Strand. The service is beyond excellent and the regulars give hugs to owners prior to leaving. The inside is very clean and well done. Don't waste your time or money. Every dish we had was terrible. Thai food is usually very flavorful. Fresh Spring rolls were all lettuce with tiny shrimp. Peanut sauce was tasteless. Pho broth was bland and tofu was sour like it was going bad. Bean sprouts were not fresh and had to ask for hoisin/chili sauce/ sriracha. Fried tofu had no flavor needed salt and dipping sauce also tasteless. I would rate 0 stars if that was an option. read more

We decided to go here last Saturday night. It was okay but it is not on our list to come back. Our waitress was wonderful. We decided to share the chicken dumplings. They were good but not great. For dinner I ordered the #40 with tofu and he ordered a curry dish. Their menu had many items that were spicy according to them. Our food was okay but no thing to write about. We had an amazing meal this evening! I had delicious Khao Soi which is egg noodles in a creamy mildly spicy coconut curry sauce, with your choice of protein and topped with crispy egg noodles. Husband had spicy basil fried rice with veggies and pork. We can't recommend this place enough- we will be going back often! read more

We stopped here on a whim on a Sunday morning right as they opened. We have tried most of the Thai places in and around Myrtle beach and this place is hands down the best around, heck we are from the charlotte area and this is better than anything we have at home! Both me and my girl started off with the tom kha soup and it was outrageously delicious super tasty and creamy and a very generous potion packed with chicken! My girl had the garlic pepper chicken and she loved it, I tried one of her baby corns from her meal and they acted like little sponges soaking up that brown sauce, man soooo good. I ordered the spicy basil chicken without the egg!! I ordered spicy level and it was just right, friggin huge portion (I'm assuming this was a dinner portion due to being Sunday ) this dish was fantastic and some of the best pad kapok I've had! I can't recommend this place enough!!! I've been to a couple other Thai restaurants around here and they were not very good, so I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered Pad See Ew (Delicious) which was a large portion, and I look forward to trying other items on the menu too. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this place! Our waiter recommended the Crab Rangoon's and he was not joking, they were really good!
