Thai Drift has delicious, authentic Thai food. I love the Mausuman Curry and the Thai Fried Rice. The flavors are great and the food is always consistent. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice and calming and the service is great. The only thing I would ever complain about it that I wanted Thai Drift on a Saturday at 11:15 but they didn't open until 12. Otherwise, this place is great! read more

We're done! Kept thinking we would give Thai Drift one more chance and it's not working out for us. (Sadly, We've been giving them our last chance for 6 months). We've be eating there for years and the food has been good but lately they are watering down their peanut sauce to where it's like water. Pad thai noodles so hard and dry it seems like it had been sitting out for a couple of hours. Sticky rice had some dry hard spots on it also. Sampler appitizer is very good, I get that as my main meal. I don't think it's the best thai food in Utah county, pricier than other restaurants especially for the amount you get. Thai Village in Provo and American Fork are also great options for cheaper tasty curry. read more

We came to Thai Drift because we had an hour lunch break. It ended up taking 15 minutes to get our drinks, and 40 minutes to get our food. I know a lot of people exaggerate about how long it takes to get served but I'm being completely serious on the time estimates. The service was awful, but the only server in the restaurant had to cover probably 10-12 tables that kept getting sat, and to be honest, he was busting his ass. The food was just ok, but I ordered the daily lunch special and it was only 6 dollars so for the price it was great. I probably wouldn't go back to this place unless I had a lot of time to wait, but it was mobbed with businesspeople so I'm sure it is a local hot spot. Overall the service was slow but he worked hard, and the food was just ok, not too authentic. Go there if you have time, if not go somewhere else. read more

I don't know anything about Thai food, but this was impressive. I've probably had Chicken Satay dozens of times (may be the most commoditized 'Thai' dish out there), but the Chicken Satay at Thai Drift is memorable. Pumpkin Curry with beef was also worth trying. Massaman chicken - also solid. Highly recommend giving this one a shot since I'm sure the strip mall food in the area starts to blend together after a while... this one stands out. read more

This used to be my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in Utah county, hands down. The last time I visited, however (within the last month or two) was extremely disappointing, and I won't be returning. The service was really awful - we sat for at least 30 minutes after we finished eating waiting for someone to emerge from the back to give us our check (there were several tables with customers, and we were all waiting because no one was on the floor). The food was extremely subpar as well - both the pineapple fried rice and pad thai tasted old and had far too much sauce. The noodles and rice were overlooked and mushy, and the flavor profile was really off for both. Sorry to say.... No longer regulars. The service has never been great, but the food kept us coming back. However, the owner seems to have gotten progressively rude over our last several visits, and we no longer enjoy dining here. Even good food isn't worth being treated poorly- especially as a paying customer. The owner definitely needs some lessons in good manners!! read more

The food is only okay. I had the coconut soup and it was watery. I asked specifically for tofu and they gave me chicken. We were seated at a dirty table that they only partially wiped off after we were seated. The waiter told us that the $13 appetizer sampler was a comparable amount of food to an entree--most likely in an effort to sell the priciest thing on their menu. The portion size of the appetizer sampler was pitiful compared to the portion size of the soup. When it came time to pay, my husband told them that we only had a twenty and asked if he could break it. Nope, apparently, somehow, they were completely out of ones--they only had fives and tens. Which means our twenty was broken to two fives and a ten, forcing us to leave a $5 tip, $2.50 greater than what we were going to pay. I will never, ever go here again. Couldn't get a table at Siam so I gave this place a try and I liked the soup, egg rolls and the Pad Thai was good not great but you can't beat the lunch special. Looking forward to trying the pumpkin or red curry. read more

We started with the amazing spring rolls with shrimp! They were so fresh and yummy! For our entrees we had the red curry. I'm not a big fan of most curry dishes but this is, by far, the best! Service was excellent as well. As our hostess/server would approach the table she would say "excuse me", I personally loved that. Such manners are rare and I appreciated that extra touch! I love Thai Ruby! Great food, good prices (with an especially affordable $6 lunch special on weekdays), and friendly service. Modern, comfortable, unassuming atmosphere. I wish it were a little bigger, since for lunch it's quite often packed, but I'd hate to change too much. I cannot speak much to their noodle or stir fry dishes; I have not sampled them. But as far as the curries go, they're the best Thai curries I've tasted. I love the Red curry, and Massaman and pumpkin curries are great as well. As far as Thai Food in Utah county goes, this place is as good as it gets. I got their Coconut soup, which was amazing. The perfect amount of sweet and a good amount of heat. My friend got the Pineapple curry, which was also very very good. The service was great, and we were seated and had our food quickly. Our only complaint was that the waiter was inattentive, and seemed distracted even when I finally managed to get him to our table. No refills. No asking how we were doing. I love Thai Food, and thaifoon at the gateway used to be my favorite, but this place blows it out of the water in both price and quality. This is one of my favorite places for lunch because you can get some of the best food for only 5.99. I have not been any day when the lunch special was not fantastic, either. So don't worry what day you go, just get the lunch special and you are good to go. They have mastered the spice levels too. Some places give you a "mild, medium, hot" choice, but their 1-10 scale is much better for when medium just isn't hot enough but hot is too much. So I get a 7. It is a beautiful and simple decor, I also recommend the curries. Particularly red and yellow. Enjoy, but get there a little early, it may be crowded. read more
