BEWARE OF THIS PLACE THE FOOD AND SERVICE!!! My experience was rude disrespectful and disgusting!!! I took both of my daughters here after school to get mango sticky rice to go, and they also ordered noodles. Unfortunately, this turned into a terrible experience. As we were driving home, my daughter started eating her mango sticky rice and said, "Mommy, there's a long hair in my rice." I looked and saw a long black hair cooked into the rice. Before touching anything, I took a picture of it. I immediately turned around and went back to the restaurant. I told the woman at the counter that there was a hair in my daughter's rice. She responded, "This has never happened before." I told her, "Well, it happened this time." She then said she couldn't see the hair. The restaurant was so dark that I had to turn on the flashlight on my phone just to show it to her. I eventually pulled the hair out of the rice myself and handed it directly to her. She took the hair from my hand and went toward the back. Another woman came out and said she didn't see any hair. I explained that the first woman had already taken the hair from my hand. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I couldn't get one because my daughter had already eaten some of the rice. I explained that she had to eat some of it in order to discover the hair that was cooked into it. My other daughter kept her food, and I even said I would accept a partial refund. The woman continued arguing with me about the refund. I told her this was bad customer service and that if they are preparing and serving food, they need to make sure hair isn't getting into customers' meals and should be wearing proper hair restraints. I then told her that I had a picture of the hair while it was still cooked into the rice and could show it to her. That is when she finally decided to give me my refund. While giving me the refund, instead of apologizing, she proceeded to tell me to get out of the restaurant, never come back again, and that she was going to call the police on me. I couldn't believe the way this was handled. Finding a hair cooked into my daughter's food was bad enough. But denying what I was showing them, taking the actual hair from my hand and then acting as though there was no hair, refusing the refund until I mentioned that I had photographic proof, and then threatening to call the police while telling me never to return was completely unacceptable customer service. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant. What matters is how a business handles them. A simple apology and refund would have ended the situation immediately. Thai Cuisine was recommend to me by the front desk receptionist at my hotel as she stated that she eats there frequently. I was really disappointed by my experience. I was going to dine inside but due to the lack of air conditioning, it made it kind of hard to want to stay and eat so I got the food to go. I ordered pad Thai beef and was very disappointed as I literally had 90% noodles. The flavor was good though. The service was decent, I received water upon arrival and it didn't take too long to get my order in. There was free street parking as well so that I'll take that as a win. read more

Horrible customer service! We ordered the chicken Pad Thai and tofu Pad Thai which was the worst Pad Thai I ever had! It had a strong tomato sauce taste, noodles over cooked and mushy. I was unable to consume the dish. I brought this to the owner's attention; however, she responded too bad you need to pay even if you didn't eat it! She refused to fix the wish saying don't come back if you don't like the food. Due to her refusal to remove that dish from my tab, she became irate screaming and yelling in the restaurant. She even blocked the door trying to prevent my friend from leaving to wait for the police outside. She called the police and basically lied that we refused to pay for food we consumed. Hadn't been here in years. Food was just as good as I remember. Waitress was warm and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit.

First time here, the waitress was kind and helpful. The ambiance is fine, they have several cute tchotchke in the window. My favorite is the water bottles on top of the little stands. I thought it was cute and slightly funny! I think the stands were elephants or something. But it tickled me because it had the illusion of being regular sized bottles tucked into the stands, but it was little water bottles on top. :) The dining area is clean and quaint. Although, she did ask us to move because someone had just finished eating where we first sat, right before us, and she had not had a chance to clean yet. I thought that was a little odd and slightly unprofessional. She could have wiped the table while we sat there, instead of making us move. Other than that she was nice, smiled a lot, and answered our questions about the menu. There was only two other patrons together inside the restaurant. We were in between lunch and dinner. When I asked for a lunch menu, she said no, then she said she didn't have one. I forgot to mention: the entrée (penang) showed up about 15-20 minutes BEFORE the appetizer (satay)! The chicken satay shown in photo was like a roasted or deep fried chicken. It is different than any other satay I have had before. It had a pleasant smell and taste. The peanut sauce was decent. The prices of things were really high. Extra peanut sauce is $1.50 more, I'm not sure how much you receive in the extra amount. The large rice was $5.99 (for 2-3 people), compared to the small rice for $2.50. (NOT even enough for one person who is hungry) We opted for the small. The chicken panang was different than what I have had before. It had lots of veggies that don't normally come in panang: (standard) carrots, red & green bell peppers, and zucchini, (plus additional veggies) mushroom, baby corn/cornlets, bamboo/bamboo shoots, green beans, and water chestnut. The addition I like the best was mushrooms. I could do without the rest, but none of it was listed on the menu. The hotness level was supposed to be medium or 5 out of 10. It wasn't that hot considering I am a wimp when it comes to spices. It was a little bland. The portion size was ok to smaller than average, it didn't have enough chicken to warrant the price. Overall take on the situation: I might come back if we are in the area. The experience was just alright (Not terrible, but not stellar). Some of the food is ok, but it's not consistent quality and a couple times it's been inedible and they don't do anything about it. Dining in, the service is terrible and there is more ambiance inside a McDonald's. They barely give you any sauce for the fried calamari and charge $1 for half a teaspoon more. They are not careful with food allergies and I had a reaction this last time due to cross contamination. I love Thai food so I've given this place too many tries. Multiple times she has also charged me for food I didn't order and when I've told her one order of rice, she always brings out two anyway, says no, keep it, it's ok, and charges me $3.50 for it. Thai Cuisine, 235 Main Street - Ordered chicken puffs and egg roll appetizers, then chicken pad Thai entree. The pad Thai noodles severely overcooked, pure mush. It was so bad my friend and I could not even force it down. I spoke to the inattentive waitress who later identified herself as the owner. She said she told the cook and apologized. She didn't offer us anything different, a discount, nothing to try to make things better. I did not want to pay for the entree. I placed $30 on the table for the appetizers eaten but said I didnt feel I should have to pay for such a poorly prepared dish. The noodles were pure mush and the flavor was dominated by tomato. I proceeded to leave and she blocked the door trying to prevent me from leaving. She called the police and made several false claims about me/my visit. My family and I love Asian cuisine. We've tried a lot all over California. There's only one place we say is the best. And we never thought we would find another restaurant that could come close. Today, we found it. This restaurant has some of the best Thai food we've ever eaten. The pork spring rolls were phenomenal. The wonton soup was so flavorful and the wontons were delicately seasoned. The cashew dish was so fresh and the vegetables were so tender. The pad see yew was perfectly seasoned and the tofu was exceptional. The sticky rice was perfectly cooked and the chili oil was so deliciously spicy. We will be coming back here again and again. Don't let the bad reviews stop you. Worst wonton soup I've ever tasted in my life. The broth was horrible because it tasted like sweet water. It is not the traditional savory wonton soup broth, not even close. They delivered it with the broth in one container and it was supposed to be chicken wonton soup with no broccoli. They gave me a separate container that had some wontons and slices of pork, which I don't eat it should've been chicken, broccoli, other veggies, and this mushy crumbly topping like a nutty breaded topping that they sprinkle on top which there was no mention of that menu or in the photos. I think it had nuts in it it did not belong anywhere here and they sprinkled it all over the top of all of the ingredients. I could eat it the whole thing one in the garbage because I don't eat nuts, I would never order from there again at least not the wonton soup! My co workers and I Used to order from JuJus all the time, they were awesome. Today we ordered from thai cuisine first time and the food wasn't great but even worse was the service. My order was messed up and my co worker who picked up the orders for our workplace was overcharged. She talked to the lady working there bt got yelled at. I was ok to eat basil fried rice instead of plain one til I saw it had bits of beef in it not only chicken. I don't eat beef. We took my food back and the man at thai cuisine said he will make correct order for me. I explained to him I took late lunch so that's why we went back then and not sooner. He was nice about it but the lady came out and yelled at me and my co worker. She told my co worker that was being disruptive in the morning when my co worker asked about why she was over charged (never got her money back). The lady who works there was very rude, wouldn't listen to us and was literally yelling at us and was taunting the whole time the guy made new order for me. Instead of accepting her mistake and apologizing or at most being accommodating, she yelled. We clearly told her from now on we won't be taking our business there. The food here is pretty tasty, flavor and spice are solid. I order my food for pick up so I'm not sure of service but the pickup time was accurate. My issue with this place is how very expensive these dishes are. Don't get me wrong, I understand inflation and the cost of everything rising but these are barely single serving meals for $13-15 a plate? The amount of actual meat you're getting is also insanely low for the cost. I can appreciate good food, but this just sort of feels like robbing customers of a decent portion for a pretty high cost. Decent food, prices need to reflect the portion size a lot better IMO read more

They cool one item at a time. All three times one came out way before the other. Today we sat 10 mins and ended up sharing. Do yourself a favor and just take the extra 10 mins and go to sticky rice. Went with my family and were worried at first because we would go often when it was Juju's but the food is still delicious. A little different of course because no one cooks the same but for my picky eater dad haha who always orders honey salmon he approved! The curry's seemed different, in a good way of course, way more veggies and still as delicious as before! The service was FAST, the minute we ordered, she had already asked the cook to make the apps. Owners, if you are reading this, definitely change the menu style. It was hard to read and very compact. As far as the ambiance, I advise looking into better lights in the front of the room where the worker stand behind the table. It is currently white light, possibly dimmer lighting could be better. Thai cuisine is an up and coming restaurant. This place initially was Juju Thai food in downtown Turlock. I am half Thai and Lao and can say the food is standard. The flavors are there but wish it was more robust and savory. Thai dishes are known for its aromatics, hints of spice, sweet and salty dishes. I ordered the papaya salad 2/5, larb 3/5 and the nam tok 4/5. Portions are on the smaller side. Service is fair and the ambiance is inviting. read more

The service was very attentive, its definitely a small staffed place. Unfortunately the chicken satay was extremely over cooked and dry but the peanut sauce was delicious. The egg rolls were on the smaller side but tasted alright. We also got dumplings but they were dry and tough. Personally I'd go again for the curry if I lived closer or were in the area more often, but I wouldn't get anything else. read more
