    Beef soup (pho)

Amazing food! Food was fresh, flavorful and just well done! We had chicken satay and goyza to start, exceptional! Then it was the beef pho and their pad-tai. Both super flavorful and huge portions. The restaurant is doing a kind of soft open it seems, so don't be fooled if it looks closed. Just wonderful!

Ordered pick up through DoorDash. Two entrées both ordered medium spice. When we got home one entrée had no spice and the other was way too spicy. We called to see if they would remake the spicy one since it was ordered medium. We called three times. No one answered. We went back into the restaurant. We were greeted with the same person that gave us the food. She was very pleasant and apologized. They did agree to remake the food. The cook said he wasn't gonna put any spice on it since it was too spicy for us. If you look at our pictures, you can see how many peppers are on the dish. It is simply not a medium dish. Food was OK. Not the best Thai. It was average. We may return bc we don't have a lot of options of Thai in town. They did correct their error, but I did loose an hour of my night running back and forth.

Very yummy fresh food! We finally have a good thai place to go to and the portion sizes are great for the price! Service was great, and the place looked very nice. My only complaint is the booth seats were pretty far apart from the table but it can be easily fixed. We will be coming back again :)

Portion sizes are small for the price, I don't think this place compares to other Thai food I have had. I won't go back.

Food was delicious. They made it spicy for my husband and we asked few dishes without fish sauce and they accommodate our requests.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE THE FOOD AND SERVICE!!! My experience was rude disrespectful and disgusting!!!…read more I took both of my daughters here after school to get mango sticky rice to go, and they also ordered noodles. Unfortunately, this turned into a terrible experience. As we were driving home, my daughter started eating her mango sticky rice and said, "Mommy, there's a long hair in my rice." I looked and saw a long black hair cooked into the rice. Before touching anything, I took a picture of it. I immediately turned around and went back to the restaurant. I told the woman at the counter that there was a hair in my daughter's rice. She responded, "This has never happened before." I told her, "Well, it happened this time." She then said she couldn't see the hair. The restaurant was so dark that I had to turn on the flashlight on my phone just to show it to her. I eventually pulled the hair out of the rice myself and handed it directly to her. She took the hair from my hand and went toward the back. Another woman came out and said she didn't see any hair. I explained that the first woman had already taken the hair from my hand. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I couldn't get one because my daughter had already eaten some of the rice. I explained that she had to eat some of it in order to discover the hair that was cooked into it. My other daughter kept her food, and I even said I would accept a partial refund. The woman continued arguing with me about the refund. I told her this was bad customer service and that if they are preparing and serving food, they need to make sure hair isn't getting into customers' meals and should be wearing proper hair restraints. I then told her that I had a picture of the hair while it was still cooked into the rice and could show it to her. That is when she finally decided to give me my refund. While giving me the refund, instead of apologizing, she proceeded to tell me to get out of the restaurant, never come back again, and that she was going to call the police on me. I couldn't believe the way this was handled. Finding a hair cooked into my daughter's food was bad enough. But denying what I was showing them, taking the actual hair from my hand and then acting as though there was no hair, refusing the refund until I mentioned that I had photographic proof, and then threatening to call the police while telling me never to return was completely unacceptable customer service. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant. What matters is how a business handles them. A simple apology and refund would have ended the situation immediately. I have the picture of the hair cooked into the rice. We definitely will not be returning.

I can't get over how huge the portions were. That makes Chong's stand out for sure. Also, we asked for "less salt, less sauce" on everything, and it all came out perfectly. Here's what we ordered: * L2 Lunch special: Comes with mongolian beef, chow mein, fried rice, spring roll. I really liked the beef -- a good dish, similar to Panda's. Chow mein was similarly delicious, and the spring roll was fresh, crispy, tasty. The fried rice was the ugly duckling for me. Tasted like rice with soy sauce. That wasn't a big deal though. The rest of the combination was well worth it! * Kung pao chicken: This dish didn't hit the spot for me. The chicken was relatively dry, and I wasn't sure what to make of the taste. It was a bit strange. Not a particular fan, but hey, it was still a large portion! So I'm still a decently happy customer. All in all, there were some misses, but the wins outweigh the losses -- I would more than happily come back to try other dishes! I would highly recommend this place to anyone on a long drive. The massive portions will make you very very happy.

When I got there, there were still some empty open tables, however, as I was leaving, it seems like they're just about all filled up. I got the Mr. milkman cocktail and it was pretty tasty, although I did notice how it appeared, as if there were a lot of wines and other beverages that they were out of. Even with my cocktail, they had to substitute the base with soda water, although it was still tasty. There was probably about 7 to 8 wines/sakes that were crossed out on the menu. Food came out fast, and the service was decent on that chefs end. I got the Korean Stone bowl dish, and It was pretty tasty, although fairly expensive for what it was... rice, veggies, and a little bit of beef, but I do like the concept of having a hot bowl that progressively warms up the rest of the food inside. I really do wish there was more meat inside for the price, I feel like only two or three bites had beef. One thing that I really noticed (and I think I noticed even more because I was sitting at the bar) was how servers and the bartenders spent a lot more time conversing with their friends (who were sitting at the bar) then checking in on some of the other people. Someone did approach me to put in my drink order, but I flagged down the server to put all my other food orders in. I don't think anybody came and asked how my meal was either. I do enjoy the overall ambience of the place, dim mood lighting, a minimalist esthetic, and a bar that really nicely displays some of their high end liquors.
