This restaurant is a mixed bag! The food is great! We have visited several times and tried different menu items. All having been fresh, piping hot and delicious! The service is what is going to kill this restaurant! We just visited for dinner, on a Friday, where there was just one server trying to handle 10+ tables! Another server arrived at 6pm and we thought this was extra dinner service help! It was not! As soon as the new server arrived our server announced that she was leaving and turning us over to the new server! (At 6pm right in the middle of dinner service!) New parties kept arriving! We waited a while to just get our water. Then another long while to order. The food arrived rather quickly, but no follow-up from the server and had to ask for our check. Other tables around us were waiting, even longer than we did, to get acknowledged and served. I can understand having 'one server' in between lunch and dinner service, but I think this place requires two, minimum, for busy times. The lone server is also handling online and to go orders! The seating layout is also inefficient for the server, who has to walk all the way around the seating area (nearly to the front door) to go back and forth to the kitchen. They should split the dining room in half, so the server can more quickly and easily traverse through the middle of the room! I hope they get this 'worked out' or people will not return... read more

We've eaten here 3 times and it's been outstanding every time. The thaiburi wings are perfectly crispy with a delicious sauce. The house fried rice is soooo good and the yellow curry is perfect! Absolutely Fantastic!! There were 14 of us for lunch. Every single person loved their food. The menu is very extensive with pictures to show you exactly what you are getting. You can add beef, chicken, prawns, duck and pork to any dish. The soups look amazing. They have pan fry, stir fry, soup and bowls of goodness. Prices are great. Best Thai food anywhere!! I ordered Thaiburi for lunch today, It was my first time here. Here's my honest review: The restaurant looked fresh, new, clean and very cool. AC worked great, almost too cold but since I did take out, not a problem. Service was very friendly and upon entering I was approached and given a menu right away, everything had an adjoining picture so that was great!.. My order was "Fresh Rolls" with shrimp (usually called Spring Rolls). I also ordered "Papaya Salad" and "Green Curry with Beef". All the food was delicious and temperatures were good, even by the time I got it home. All was bagged up nicely, no spills or leaks. The Fresh Rolls came with a peanut sauce that was quite thick, I added some rice vinegar which I felt it needed to make it a dipping sauce and the acid was tasty in it as well, since I'm a home chef, I've made this sauce before. Normally when I order these Rolls I get 6 whole pieces but these were maybe 3 cut in half. I would have also liked to taste herbs like fresh mint or Thai basil but I didn't. The Green Curry with Beef (Mild, because I'm a wimp) was delicious but a little too sweet, sugar needs to be decreased for my liking. It came with a medium size white rice on the side. The "Papaya salad" was tasty, fresh and a bit on the "spicy" side. I'm sure the dressing was pre made, so no changes were available, but I still enjoyed it. I wanted to try the Mango Sticky Rice, maybe next time. I hope to dine-in next time because the restaurant looks inviting. The prices seem fair and comparable to other Thai restaurants. read more

The restaurant is in the corner of a strip mall across from Costco in Modesto. An unassuming location and a wonderful surprise. The restaurant is modern and clean. The service was friendly and the food is delicious! We had the eggplant and the pad see ew. Both dishes were flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. This is the best Thai food in town (I'd include Modesto as well). Every time I've been, it's been excellent. Pad Thai is perfectly done, I usually add things to mine, but this one requires nothing additional. Panang curry is also fantastic. Service is great as well. Ordered pick up through DoorDash. Two entrées both ordered medium spice. When we got home one entrée had no spice and the other was way too spicy. We called to see if they would remake the spicy one since it was ordered medium. We called three times. No one answered. We went back into the restaurant. We were greeted with the same person that gave us the food. She was very pleasant and apologized. They did agree to remake the food. The cook said he wasn't gonna put any spice on it since it was too spicy for us. If you look at our pictures, you can see how many peppers are on the dish. It is simply not a medium dish. Food was OK. Not the best Thai. It was average. We may return bc we don't have a lot of options of Thai in town. I am sorry to write this review, but.....have ordered via GrubHub three times since opening. First time was acceptable. Second time was less so as we ordered the expensive crab fried rice which was very un-memorable. This evening we ordered tom kha (tasty but with huge chunks of galangal that were hard to eat around), a stir fry with beef and eggplant (tasty but with the beef and eggplant cut too large to comfortably eat with chopsticks) and very disappointedly papaya salad, that came with the container half full, completely devoid of papaya, and it spilled all over the couriers car. We had previously this evening ordered from Thai Cuisine which is our go-to, but for no reason GH cancelled the order. So we tried Thaiburi one more (and last) time..... read more

I was in Turlock for the day, and decided to try Thai Buri. It was a delicious Thai spot that had a beautiful decor that made it feel welcoming. Our waitress Sengmany was super nice and helpful, and made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was also very delicious and filling. You also get a little coffee candy after you pay!!! Lol. So excited to have found a delicious and authentic Thai place in Turlock! My husband and I love Thai food, specifically their curries and usually travel to Stockton when we get a craving but luckily we won't have to do that anymore. I was happy to see a new Thai restaurant in Turlock after and decided I would take a chance. I arrived at about 5:15 PM was greeted and seated almost immediately and given a glass of water and then sat there for about 15 minutes as people kept coming in finally as I was just about to get up and leave the server came over and took my order. I got the Penang and Chicken Satay as an appetizer. The food came out fairly quickly, and the main dish came out within one minute of the appetizer. The food was prepared differently than I'm used to with Thai food, but that is to be expected as each restaurant recipes own preparation methods. However, they seem to miss the mark. for the price portion sizes were on the small side, especially the amount of protein that they put in the meal, especially when you have to pay extra for it and at $18.50 you would think that it would be included as if this is the first time in 50 years of eating Thai food that I've had to pay extra for the protein. Food was average at best I asked for it spicy meaning hot and it was really mild. and I don't think that she came back until I was completely finished and then offered me some more water to drink. I said no, I'll take my check $40 for a meal for one person including tip and I left hungry. Had pad Thai with shrimp. I ordered spicy but it was definitely mild, no spice at all. The pad Thai itself was very good, as we're the 6 large shrimp in it. The restaurant is very nice and exceptionally clean. I ordered to-go and it was ready within 10 minutes. The servers were friendly. My only critique is the relatively small serving size for $23. I wanted to add egg rolls but the only option was 4 for $11. An option to add 2 for $5 would be ideal. Definitely would visit again. read more
