8/12/23 Shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce ordered(to go with lunch). The service wasn't very kind or welcoming. Hopefully the spring rolls are good! Paid for the ordered and waited until it was ready! Luckily, the worker got much better! Said order was ready and handed it over with good day wishes. Think you! Pretty empty restaurant. They don't have it set up to eat inside. Pretty messy. Chairs stacked up.....just noticed leaving....take out only sign. FYI! Lunchtime! Order split The shrimp spring roll with peanut sauce was ginormous and really good! It was fresh and delicious and the peanut sauce made it better! Mother said hers was really good too! Turned into good service at the end and really good shrimp spring rolls!! Recommended!

This is my second time ordering from TC. My first time was a few years ago. I ordered two orders of sticky rice for pickup. Once I got there, she told me it was almost $20 I asked her to repeat the cost because I was shocked it was so pricey. I figured it was around $10 or so. If you've ordered rice before, it shouldn't be that costly. I decided to give TC a second chance. I went on their website prior to placing order over the phone for pick up. I ordered Mongolian beef for $13.99 (states on menu on website) and asked if rice came with it. She said yes. When I got there, my total was $18.xx and told her to keep the change from a $20. Not only was it not $13.99 but look at what I got! Did not taste fresh at all either. Not going there again. Lesson learned.

    Spicy chicken lunch

Was good, but I ordered during lunch the spicy chicken with sticky rice and it didn't come with a lot of meat at all. I'm a lite disappointed bc normally I get something from Bowlzeye next door and was expecting around the same portions. It's still good though

All the items we ordered were so dry, had definitely been cooked way ahead of time and reheated in a microwave. 1) Pineapple fried rice: completely dried out with pieces of chicken meat too tough to chew. 2) Steamed rice: also dried out from being microwaved. 3) Fried whole tilapia: the tilapia was small. The veggies in the green curry covering it were soggy. 4) Tom yum seafood soup: the flavor was good but it contained very little seafood. 5) Egg rolls: practically empty inside! We ordered delivery. When it arrived 2 of the styrofoam containers had leaked. They need to make the delivery orders more secure. We will not be ordering from Thai Chili again!

Since I'm in the Clovis area more often these days. Each time I get gas in the same plaza as Thai Chili I decided to give this Thai place a shot as they had pretty good reviews on yelp. When I entered I was instantly greeted by a woman. She asked me if it was for there or to go. It was Togo so she gave me a menu and I instantly wanted to see if they had ground chicken Thai Chili Basil which is my all time favorite Thai Dish. To my surprise they had it! So I ordered their Ground Chicken Thai Chili Basil, Pineapple Chicken Dish and Basil fried rice. I am not a one to eat Pineapple in my meals unless it is a dessert or snack separately but the boyfriend likes incorporating it in his meals. And I got egg rolls. Anywho, the order came out fairly quick. I could not wait to dig in as the food smelled amazing. The Thai Chili Basil tasted delicious as expected and the Pineapple Chicken was not for me but tasted amazing according to the boyfriend. The Basil fried rice was a little greasy but flavorful. The egg rolls were delicious and crunchy. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and food. It is not the best quality of Thai Food I had but it does get the job done. Definitely, a must try if you in the area. I will be back if I am in the area and craving Thai Food.

    Papaya salad

Living in Clovis, there aren't a ton of places that sell papaya salad- especially if you want the option of Lao or Thai style. I just wanted to pick up some papaya salad to go with our dinner we were making at home. I was happy they offered Lao style. My order was ready pretty quickly but I was a bit surprised at the $11.95 price. I was also irritated at the $1 charge for using my debit card ($12.95 total). Then when I got home and opened the package I decided we wouldn't be going back again. I would say it was enough for 2 people to have a decent portion. The positives were the flavor was good and the heat was pretty accurate. I ordered medium and I'd say it was a true medium.

Portion sizes are small and the shrimp dishes had barely any shrimp. First and last time we will order from here.

Do not order the BBQ chicken! You would be better of getting jerky from Vons. The chicken was all dried up and just bones...I was gagging.

Everyone seemed to be Arab, which is what you want in a Middle Eastern place. I'm Lebanese who had a mother who was a great cook. I know what I'm talking about . The menu has several dishes that are real home cooking. I had several appetizers, which is the way to do it. Hummus, teboule, grape leaves, falafel, all good. I thought the kibbie was too much bulgur on the outside shell. My mother made them meatier. The ones here had a crunch. Too much burger. Service was very nice. They were a little short staffed at lunch, but that was ok. This is not your usual Lebanese place. The menu has depth. I'm from out of town, but Golden Grill is the real deal. You can tell by how many Arab people were eating there.

Lebanese and Syrian Style on Mediterranean Cuisine is something new to me. The food is seasoned…read morewith lots of herbs and spices. The 3 plates that I had today was mainly seasoned with curry, cumin, tumeric, and star anise. The salt was perfectly seasoned and very light to enhance all of the flavors. CHICKEN KABAB PLATE (8ct) - Rice, Hummus, Fattoush Salad, Pitta Bread - $18.99 :: It's a bit sad the chicken is very dry. It seems to be oven roasted or something, due to the overly dry texture and the char on the outside. The juice were striped out of the chicken. I could be wrong but the chicken is way to dry. But, good news that it's perfectly seasoned. It's a bit of everything seasoned on this chicken, but very light. I can taste the strong cumin and curry seasoning. The salt was on point. (RATE : 2/5) This plate comes with your choice of rice, fries, or bulghur and 2 cold appetizers of your choice. I picked rice, hummus, and fattoush salad. The RICE is seasoned with light on curry. The cumin and star anise seems to be a bit over powering the curry on the rice. The rice was perfectly made. It was fluffly and soft. The rice taste like it was freshly made (RATE : 5/5). The HUMMUS wasn't what I was expecting. I can't taste the nuttyness on this dish. It doesn't have much seasoning or taste. It's a bit plain (RATE : 1/5). Lastly, the FATTOUSH SALAD. I was a bit dissapointed. The salad dressing doesn't have any flavor to it. All the vinegar drip down to the bottom and you cant taste it much. The dressing was very light here. I wish the salad could be a bit bigger to grab instead of shredded (RATE : 2/5). OVERALL on this plate I would give it a RATING of 2.5/5. I can see potential and it's not bad. SAJ - KAFTA - SANDWHICH COMBO - Fries, Labneh, Pickled Salad - $12 :: For the sandwhiches menu, they have an option for SAJ or PITA. I wanted to try the saj for today. The only difference is that the saj does not have yeast so it's flatter than the pita. It just depends on your choice if you want a breadier wrap or skinny wrap. They taste exactly the same. The KAFTA is a texture of patty. It was a mixure blend of a couple different meat like beef and lamb. The taste and texture just taste exactly like a juicy burger on the first bite. The gameyness from the lamb was very light and the labneh helps mellow it down a lot. All of the seasoning was on point (RATE : 5/5). The FRIES were on point. It was freshly out of the oil. Nicely salted and seasoned. (RATE : 5/5) The LABNEH was also awesome. It taste like a softer and lighter version of horseradish. I believe it was made out of yogurt. (RATE : 5/5) The PICKLED SALAD taste just like out of the jar. Nothing special here. (RATE : 3/5) OVERALL : I'll give this sandwhich combo a RATING 5/5. SAJ - GOLDEN GRILL - SANDWHICH COMBO - Fries, Labneh, Pickled Salad - $16 :: The golden grill meat was a mixture of shreded chicken, beef, and sujuk. The texture was perfectly softened and juicy. Ive never had many texture of meat together before. Biting into it, every little bite feels weird. There's too many texture. I'm not a big fan but the meat it self is just perfectly soft, tender, and juicy. The seasoning is lightly seasoned with salt cumin, curry and star anise. RATE: 3/5 AMBIANCE : It's a very fancy shop with nice decorations. I love the dark oak masculine and modern decorations and a touch of gold. They have a few of Turkish pictures and decorations around the building. There's lots of seatings and its very spacious. The tables are neat and clean. They have soft Syrian music on. There's not much guest there so it's very quiet. RATE : 5/5 SERVICE : Friendly and attentive service. I wasn't sure how to order and the young gentlemen helped my with my order. The wait was a good 15 minute long for 3 plate. They cook everything fresh and hot. RATE : 5/5 OVERALL : Great location for a little hangout or a date. The interrior is very romantic with those cute little Turkish lamp. I would totally recommend giving them a try. Maybe not the chicken kabab but something else. Their seasoning are on point. The seasoning is strong but it's not over powering. And again, this is Lebanese and Syrian style on Mediterranean Cuisine which includes lots of turmeric and curry taste. Last thing I want to add is that their price on these plates are on a bit pricey side. But the portions are pretty huge so it's worth it.

It just had that look, you know the kind of place that's either gonna change your life or ruin your afternoon. Plot twist: it changed my life. Slightly dramatic? Maybe. Accurate? Also yes. My fiancée isn't really a burger person, so getting her to agree to this felt like closing a high stakes negotiation. I finally got the green light and IMMEDIATELY knew I made the right call. I went full send and ordered a triple smash burger with loaded fries because self control does not exist when I'm hungry. And bro... this thing was DISRESPECTFUL in the best way possible. Crispy edges, juicy center, cheese melted like it had a purpose in life. Every bite felt like gluttony. The Hammy fries? Yeah those didn't stand a chance. Gone. Eliminated. No survivors. It had a effing burger patty on top. What I really liked is that it's simple but done right. No gimmicks, no trying to be fancy just straight up dialed in smash burgers that hit every time. The kind of place where you take your first bite and just nod silently like "mmhmm... yup.... That's right." Even my fiancée who came in skeptical was like "okay wait this is actually good," which is basically a Michelin star equivalent to me. If you're in Fresno and you like burgers (or even if you think you don't), do yourself a favor and pull up. Just be prepared to leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

As we started to dig in, realized what a blessing in disguise this was. We ordered orange chicken, chow mein, and a mushroom dish with a light sauce. Everything was incredible and the portions were huge. Normally, I'm not chow mein eater, but these noodles were fantastic. They were slightly al dente and tossed in a delicious sauce. Plus, I loved that all the veggies in here still had a crunch. Their orange chicken might be some of the best I've ever had. Instead of frying, they dredge the chicken in a tempura beer batter. Which offered an almost fluffy crunch paired with a light orange glaze. The owner came over and asked how our meal was and we couldn't stop raving. He gave us a few free cream cheese wontons, and once again, these were nothing short of amazing. This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
