    Crispy pad Thai
    Paola C.

At first I was hesitant to order take out because of the recent low reviews I had read regarding food and service. But, I decided to take a chance because I thought the price was really great compared to most places. So I ordered on crispy chicken pad Thai, chicken satay, and pork dumpling soup through GrubHub. I was given about an hour estimate for my delivery, but I had my food in my hands in just about a 30 minutes. It was EXACTLY what I was craving!! The crispy chicken pad Thai was delicious. Large chunks of peanuts and scallions, lots of chicken, and plenty of rich sauce. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the noodles. They were chopped, crispy egg noodles that were really nicely cooked. The chicken satay comes in four pieces and are large chunks of grilled chicken. It comes with I side of peanut sauce and a cucumber carrot dipping sauce. I also ordered a dumpling soup - in the description it says it's a sake-spy broth. The broth was amazing. All in all, with a good tip it ended up being less than $30 with more than half of it to spare, so I'll end up eating it for dinner too. If you're looking for a good Thai place I absolutely recommend this place. The food is fantastic and full of flavor and the service was great as well. To top it off, awesome prices. This may just be my new Thai place!

Beef satay was delicious. The marinade is perfect. The cuts of meat were really thick too. The ga pao chicken is decent. I think it's made with that dark sweet soy sauce though which isn't typical. It makes it sweet-ish which really changes the flavor. It doesn't taste bad, it's just different. I'll try something different next time I'm in the area. This is a takeaway only place.

As I walked in, it gave me Thailand vibes (being that I just came back from there a few months ago) the smells automatically triggered a good nerve. It's small but thankfully I was doing takeout and the restaurant wasn't packed. But those phones were going off (that was a good sign). The lovely lady at the from was very helpful. I asked if the food was authentic Thai food and she assured me it was. I ordered, Grapao Sub (pork my favorite dish! ) Shrimp donut, and Tom Yum Fried Rice (new item). All well worth it and very flavorful! I wanted mango sticky rice but they said they were all out. Even though the had a ton of mangos at the counter for sale or decorations, IDK... kind of disappointed with that but overall, great service, delicious food! Definitely will go there again. From the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff could not be nicer, more accommodating, and attentive. The food was totally on-point and delicious. Everything was fresh, hot, and authentic. They got the spice level JUST RIGHT. Three pepper dishes were brought down just a peg per our request, and they nailed it. We started with a salad called Sum Tum Tod which was different and amazing. Fried tempura-like veg, all arranged high on the plate with the most fabulous dressing, full of peanuts. The chicken satay was plump and moist, grilled and hot with delicious peanut sauce. Pineapple fried rice was complex and smoky, full of fantastic flavors and huge juicy shrimps. Green curry with beef was coconut milk forward, fresh and complex, with a million flavors going on. The chicken basil was another mouth watering dish, piping hot and full of basil and vegetables with the most amazing sauce. The portions are generous, the service is wonderful, and the smiles are genuine. The prices are low for this much quality and content. I thought the bill was wrong when it was brought over! What a great way to end a perfect meal! The food is next-level. Do yourself a solid and check it out when you are in the area and want outstanding Thai food.

Thai ice tea - not overly sweet light and creamy after you mix it. Green Thai iced tea - more tea flavor shown thru this version i enjoyed this too! Larb chicken - amazing dish i really liked it, only comment would be maybe the minced protein toss some bigger diced chunks in too to soak up that cr*ck sauce! Basil chicken fried rice - spicy good flavor overall and chicken was plenty. I sort of was hoping they would have the signature like basil spice "glaze/sauce" they could do like other spots for basil dishes but they did not. It's good how it is though but if i was to get crispy chicken - def would need a sauce for my taste anyways. I highly recommend this place if you like spicy. I requested for extra spicy for the red curry with salmon & I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted actually spicy! Many Thai spots I've gone to tend to not deliver the level of spicy I'm looking for, so I'm happy I was able to get it here. Salmon was cooked perfectly & the curry was delicious. We loved the basil fried rice with chicken also. Flavorful & had a nice kick. Chicken was not dry either! The chicken laarb was addictive to eat. It had the right amount of citrus & spice. Generous portion too! Nampla wings reminded me of nuoc mam/Vietnamese fish sauce wings. I personally found the wings to be a bit dry but the sauce it came with really helped. Good flavor though. Lastly, both the Green iced Thai tea & regular iced Thai tea were solid. Not the best but still good. I'm a big fan of Green iced Thai tea & not many places offer this. I always make sure to order it wherever and whenever I can find it! Overall, I'm so glad we were able to stop in for dinner at the Crying Thaiger.
