We spent my wife's birthday enjoying a weeknight dinner at home with takeout from Thai Chili 2 Go, and this was a really solid choice! Ordering was super easy, especially through their app. It's convenient to pick anything from the menu and customize your order with all kinds of extra ingredients and add-ons. We ordered the Pad Prig Pow Noodles with chicken and added broccoli, Thai Fried Rice with chicken, and two veggie spring rolls. My wife ordered her noodles at medium heat, and they were perfect that night. Just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavors. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that the heat definitely builds overnight in the fridge if you have leftovers. The next day they had a pretty good kick! Still completely enjoyable for me, but definitely hotter than the night before. My Thai fried rice was ordered hot, and it was fantastic. The heat level was perfect for me, and I added extra onion, which was honestly perfection. There was so much umami from the flavors they used that I just couldn't stop eating it. I ended up not leaving a single grain of rice behind for leftovers! The veggie spring rolls were just as good. Crispy on the outside with a nice balance of flavors from the vegetables, and paired with the sweet and sour sauce, there really wasn't anything negative to say. Overall, Thai Chili 2 Go is consistent, convenient, and flavorful. The only drawback for me was the wait, but I'm honestly going to chalk that up to them being busy and getting plenty of traffic. If you decide to eat there instead of taking it home, they do have a handful of seating options and even a Freestyle Coke machine, which is a nice bonus. The dining area is pretty open, though, so you don't get a ton of personal space. You almost feel like everyone sitting around you is accidentally forced to make eye contact with each other the whole meal . For us, takeout is probably the way to go, but the food definitely makes this a spot we'll keep coming back to! read more

Where's the chicken??? I'm paying almost $20 for chicken pad Thai with extra noodles and there is consistently so little chicken!! It's very frustrating. I have the TCG2Go app and there's no way to give feedback about a meal. That's a huge tell about how unimportant customer feedback is for them. I love the food but every time I go it's almost $40 for 2 of us and the skimping on the ingredients like the meat is so egregious that I will let many months pass before returning because of my frustration. But I go back eventually because the flavor and meal taste is the best Thai food in Mesa area. read more

This Thai Chili 2go was on my way home one day and I was craving Thai food, so I decided to stop by. The store looks fairly new and is located in the big shopping center on the SE corner of Higley and Baseline St. where there's a Fry's, Chick-fil-A, Farmer Boys, and more. The dining room is spacious and clean. I was greeted upon entering. The store had devices to place an order, but the friendly staff member let me know she was available if I had any questions. The device was easy to use and I was able to place my order with no issues. I ordered the following: Tofu pad thai Pad prig pao noodles After placing my order, I went next door to grab dessert and when I returned, my items were ready and waiting for me. Decided to try Thai food again today and it was AMAZING! The portions were huge and delicious tasting Medium is perfect amount of heat in my opinion. Can request a side of spices to add yourself as you like. Super clean restaurant and extremely open for what I thought was a ToGo place! I can't say enough good things about this location. My husband and I honestly order here more than we should but it's just too good. Tonight was the first and only night that I have ever had an issue with my order and when I called the store they immediately offered to make me a new dish. The one I got just really lacked the delicious sauce that usually coats the noodles so it wasn't the dish I am used to. The store even offered to cook up some extra sauce if I wanted to keep the dish I have and come get a new one. Their incredible food and incredible customer service is why we will continue to eat here! Outside of this one incident, the dumplings are 10/10 and they always have my order ready super fast and on time EVERY TIME! My husband and I often race out the door only a few minutes after ordering because we know it's already going to be hot and ready to go when we're get there. Definitely 2go food quality here as expected! My pad thai was not authentic by any means, but it wasn't too bad at all! Pad Thai flavor was ok, but I liked that they didn't salt up the dish! It was a well-blended mild flavor. Giving them 3 stars so they can improve on their wait times for orders. 40 minutes wait for one pad thai 2go order is pretty rough! Hopefully they can hire more people. I saw only 2 employees working, and both of them should have been pulling their hair out by the looks of how many stacks of orders were piling up, but they were really calm, and super nice! I can't really leave a review because I never got any food. I have half an hour for lunch at the hospital. I got in my car, drove across the street, parked walked in. That was probably six minutes. I ordered and waited at least 20 minutes with no sign of food so I asked the lady at the counter if it was ready and told her I had to leave to get back to work. She said it was not ready and she would refund my money. I have absolutely no idea how she plans to do that since she doesn't really know who I am, but she then turned her back on me and went back to work. I probably shouldn't write a review when I am very hangry, but I haven't eaten since noon and it is now 7:30 PM and I will not get home until midnight. There is nothing open when I get off work at 11 and the hospital cafeteria closes at 6:30 so I guess I am on what they call a starvation diet. I've never been to this restaurant before and I just wish there would've been some warning about how long it would take before I ordered because I certainly would've gone somewhere else knowing that I did not have very long to wait. We ordered Togo/pickup. I got the Pad Siu Ew and it was really yummy! You have the option to choose between 4 different spices and I got Hot with a step above being Thai Hot. I went with hot because at other Thai places Hot I gives a good kick but the hot here was lacking in spicyness. Nonetheless the flavors were really good! And the yellow curry was really yummy! My brother loved this place. I've had this place a few times and they don't disappoint. Food is pretty good for being "fast-food" style. We have the pad Thai with steak. And it's really good. we also have their potstickers - those are always well done and crunchy!! Love them. They give you hot and sour sauce and this sauce that my brother calls "secret sauce". It's a cross between hoisin sauce and teriyaki sauce and eel sauce. It's super super good. I put it in my pad Thai and dip my pot stickers in it. We have always had great pad Thai from here. My friend introduced me to this place sometime last year but I've always been afraid to order because I'm not sure how it worked? Today I decided to jump in and what I found out is that they have different bases so you can order a curry or a rice or noodles and then all you do is add a protein to it. I added shrimp since I love shrimp but you can also add chicken, beef, or tofu! You can also get mild medium hot or Thai hot. I'm not a sissy :) , but I did order medium and it was perfect!!! As soon as I tasted the creamy silky texture of the curry, which I think was the coconut milk effect, I just instantly felt a zing in my body! I love this place! My food was piping hot and the shrimp were nice and clean, and of course....fat!! My favorite! I'm not ashamed to say I ate almost the entire bowl! And I feel great, this is definitely one to add to my list of returning for more yumminess! The staff was nice and they do have a rewards program as well. This place is my go-to for Thai takeout. Very easy online ordering, with items clearly marked as gluten free, and easy to customize by adding or removing individual items. Also love that they use non GMO rice bran oil, which is a better alternative than most seed oils. The people at the counter are always friendly and it's just an easy experience! read more

I asked for medium level of spice just to calibrate; was delicious but not really spicy; I prefer a bit more zing so next time I'll step it up to Hot.
