I always look for Thai restaurants when I am traveling for work and I happen to find this nugget off of the main strip. At first, I wasn't sure if it was open or not as it looks like a little house with a gentleman who helped me was friendly. It had a good attitude which I always like. The green curry was very good and the rice in the shape of a star is a nice touch. It seemed like they had multiple levels of spiciness and so I chose one that best fit me which was kind of in the middle and it was delicious. It also was a very large portion so I was able to make it into two meals. I ordered the egg rolls which were also good. Great experience would go back in a heartbeat. read more

I ordered a Sesame Chicken, but it was unlike any Sesame Chicken I have ever eaten, chicken fingers with Teriyaki sauce on the side. I was not enthused. However, the vegetables were well cooked, and my spouse liked her Cashew Chicken. read more

Excellent food - we love this place for dine-in as well as takeout. Every dish is great - especially the Penang curry & pad Thai.

Food was fantastic the interior was clean and comfortable. The lady who took care of us is so sweet. Appears to be family owned and perfect for a lunch or supper with the family not expensive and has so many options to choose from, if you are ever in Riverton try it and if you live in Riverton it is a must try. We absolutely love it the food and will be coming back read more

The vibe of this converted bungalow is very weird, but the food is very very good. I loved the lunch curry. It was very starchy with both rice and big chunks of potato. If you love that you'll be in heaven. read more

Thai Chef Two - It's inside this remodeled house. - Thai Near Me - Riverton, Wyoming

Very good food, very attractive service... it was an oasis in the middle of Riverton... IN A HOUSE... but very nice people and great food.. it is worth a two hour drive to eat here. read more

I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was fantastic! What a hidden gem! The wait wasn't very long, and they were kind enough to accommodate us even though we got there a half hour before closing. read more

I've eaten here once in three years. It seems like its a person cooking for you out of her home. I had broccoli and chicken with rice. We had the fried stuff. Shrimp and crab rangoon maybe. It literally took a lifetime to get the food. We sat and sat and sat. The food was so bland. I feel like I could make this stuff. It was flavorless. I was so disappointed in this meal. She serves canned soda as well. The atmosphere was a little to homey for me. The portions were decent size. read more

Wowzer that's some yummy food! Huge portion of pad thai filled with fresh flavors. The panaang curry was very good too. Wondering why there aren't more reviews of this place. read more

Caring wait staff and personable chef, makes this our go to lunch spot. Try the Mango Curry.

Traveling back from Yellowstone, all we've really been able to eat was burger burger and more burgers. This restaurant had authentic asian food that was an amazing respite of American food every day. Definitely a stop if I ever come through town again! read more

Warning....their special pumpkin curry is the best curry you will ever eat. It will ruin all other curries...that's how good it is!

Amazing food. This is the best Thai food in Wyoming. It's actually quite a surprise. Friendly service and high quality. Very interesting atmosphere but it doesn't take away from the excellent food. read more

One of the best Thai restaurants outside of Thailand. We had Pad Thai with chicken and Pumpkin Curry with red curry, chicken and a side of rice; both were EXCELLENT!!! Portions were large, the unsweetened ice tea was refreshing and the prices were very reasonable. Our only regret was that we are only staying one night in Riverton. I even considered to extend our stay in Riverton just to return and try other dishes. What a jewel of a place. Service was great also. If I ever past through this town again I will definitely stop for dinner here. read more

It was very delicious food! "Arooy-maak" (very delicious in the Thai language. Angie was super kind. I had a delicious pumpkin curry and a summer roll that was a lot fresher than the rolls I've had back East. Thanks, Angie! read more

This former house turned Thai restaurant was quite the oasis in the desert. We had been traveling for a while on our trip already, and our family loves Asian food. So we did a quick Yelp to find something on our route and this gem came up. After a quick phone call to verify hours etc. we were on the way. We were able to park in the closed gas station next door as we were pulling a trailer, so that was a great start. The place is very unassuming, however the food was dynamite. We ordered Pad Thai, the avocado curry. Everything was served up fresh and hot, however the food was delivered in batches as the kitchen is very small. There is a TV in the dining room and seating for 6 groups or so. The only thing keeping this place from being 5 stars... was the delay in order plating from the small kitchen. We appreciated that each dish came out when ready instead of getting cold while we waited for the others to be ready. The curry was truly unique and I would recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different. The broth was thick with flavor, and paired nicely with the tasty fresh ingredients. Joy to all! read more

This restaurant is amazingly quaint and friendly! The food is good, quite flavorful, but it can be a bit of a wait sometimes, as the kitchen is small. The spice level was surprising, so be prepared! read more

Great food and service. Hard finding vegan food when you are traveling through small towns. They took great care of us.

Every time we order here regardless if it's to go or dine in we have to wait an hour and half. Waitress is never friendly and dining room isn't clean. While we waited for our food tables weren't cleared off either the whole time we were here. Only plus is that the food is good. read more

Some people feel that this portion of Wyoming is eerily similar to Thailand. Especially the dense jungle foliage and the flotilla of fishing boats strung up along the greater Wyoming-Utah Delta that empties into the "Bay of Disappointment" near the Flaming Gorge. My oldest brother served time in Riverton during the Vietnam War. He wasn't in the military, he spent time in prison for kiting checks during the Vietnam War. The only way I can explain the painful rectal itch I get when we travel in the vicinity of Riverton is some sort of "psychological somatization" of his experience in the local pokey during said Vietnam War. Anyhow, I digress. This restaurant is located in a cute little house and I believe that their culinary talent actually hails from Thailand. I ordered their version of drunken noodles, which was excellent. I would rate this place higher except for my egg roll, it was a little cold in the center when I got it. Good place, good food, eerily similar to Thailand without the hefty planefair. read more

This is the best restaurant in Riverton. The avocado curry soup is outstanding. Great food.

Amazing!!! Highly recommend. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. I have eaten a lot of wantons in my life and these were the best I have EVER eaten. The hand rolled egg rolls were also delicious. The sauces are made fresh and are so good. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. If you have a chance to eat here, you need to. The food takes time because the chef is actually making your food and not heating it up. I cannot wait to eat here again with my family. My wife and three kids also enjoyed their food. read more

Such good Thai food! My favorite in town! Really great curry. They're fast and friendly.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews but I felt it necessary in this case. I walked in the restaurant and waited at the door for several minutes. The server kept walking past me but would not acknowledge me. After several minutes of this I walked over to the counter hoping to get his attention. I noticed a menu on the counter so I opened it and started looking through the menu. The server came back to the counter to total up a ticket, still no acknowledgment. He looked over at me and closed the menu I was looking at. I finally asked him how he was and he said "hi" and walked away. He came back a few minutes later to tally up another ticket, I asked him if I should seat myself or if he wanted me to sit in a particular spot. He said "go ahead and have a seat if you can find a place to sit." I walked around and found an open table and sat down. After a few minutes of no menu or acknowledgment I decided to leave. As I was getting in my car in the parking lot he ran out with a glass of water and said he had water for me. I told him I was fine thank you, but I would be going somewhere else to eat. I cannot speak to the food, it may be very delicious, but the service was very very poor. I feel it is a common courtesy to at least acknowledge a person when they come to your business establishment. A simple "I'll be with you in 5 minutes" would have kept me there. read more

In Riverton (from Houston) visiting family and stumbled upon Thai Chef 2. Ordered the Chicken Pad Prik King - it was excellent! Being from Houston, we have a huge selection of Thai restaurants. Thai Chef 2 is as good as anything I've had. The chef is a lovely lady from Thailand. She came to my table to check on my meal. I ordered my dish level 3 spicy and it was perfect. This is an amazing find in Riverton - great, fresh, delicious Thai! I'll be back. read more

Went there with my parents after hearing raving recommendations from the locals. Ordered calamari and 3 seafood phos. The calamari came after 15mins and the pho even longer. We were one of the two tables at that restaurant. The pho broth was unbearably salty. We were told by the chef later that it was the local custom. Ok. But there was hardly any seafood in the bowl, and they were out of BOTH cilantro and basil. Despite all this they still charged us almost $13 a bowl. We later got much better pho in Monterey for half the price. Would not recommend. read more
