This sandwich shop was recommended by locals who know what's up. We went the day before Thanksgiving and the man and woman working were very nice. We ordered the roundhouse and the Wednesday soup of the day - beer cheese! The bread was absolutely amazing! So soft and airy. The meats and cheese were the perfect amount and delicious each and every bite. Definitely a 5 star sandwich with 5 star service! I wish I lived closer so I could try other sammies and soups! The hubs and I popped in for lunch before exploring the Sinks state park. I appreciated having numerous bread options for a sub sammie. I went with the sunflower seed bread with artichoke hearts, cucumber, avocado, lettuce, sprouts and mayo. The hubs went with the Club Car and was satisfied with his too. My wife gets egg salad sandwich from here quite often. She is a regular and likes it very much. The parking can be a little difficult at times. I thought it was ok. I'm not a fan of putting mustard and mayonaise on a sandwich. It reminds me of being a little kid and eating bologna or salami. Some people like that and that's fine. The folks at The Breadboard we're among the sponsors of the very first National Drive Electric Week event in Wyoming this year. They provided sandwiches to participants. We decided to purchase some for ourselves afterwards and they were really good. This is a "go to place" in Riverton. When we went in there was a line from the counter to the door and they took care of everyone really quickly. They've been doing this for forty years so they have this down to a fine art. They bake their own bread and some creative options for fillings. We had a sub with artichoke hearts, cucumber slices, alfalfa spouts, tomato slices with Ghost Pepper Jack on half, and a garlic cheese on the other half. They warned us, the Ghost Pepper was intense, and it was. I loved it but was glad it was just a single slice or it would have been overpowering. If I lived near here I'd be a regular and enjoy the rotating treats they offer. I also like that they have a destination charging station for Electric Vehicles. Kudos to them for that. I like that you can add range to your car while enjoying a good meal. #NDEW2017 read more

A little more pricey than other sub shops but worth it!! I love their bread. I usually get the tuna on the regular bread, so tasty.

Local place, we stopped by in the way to Yellowstone. Super delicious food! Fast and friendly service. Highly recommended!!!

Stoped by this shop on the way through Riverton on the way to Grand Teton and so glad we did! There were two Subways nearby but we wanted to support local businesses....so much better than any Subway I've gone to. The bread was fresh, the bacon was crispy, and the service was great! Small town version of a jimmy Johns. Out of avocado because it's to expensive for them(?) took 4 bites to taste any meat and even the bread wasn't anything great by itself. Thank you to the Riverton office that suggested we hit up this gem for lunch. We were warned to get here before noon, when the place really starts hopping. It was fairly busy at 1130 when we arrived, but sure enough, noon rolled around and there was a line out the door!! A well deserved line. The sandwiches are high on taste and freshness. My bread was a deliciously firm chunk of Italian bread. The dressing, fabulous. The ingredients, fabulous. The meats, copious. The sandwich variety, good. Several options also for the vegetarians of the world. I would here today if I weren't hundreds of miles away. Apparently the real deal is on beer and cheese soup Wednesdays, which we missed. The Breadboard, also know by me as "the coldest hot pastrami sandwich you can get anywhere". When ordering, doubling down on "no mayo or mustard" will almost certainly insure that you get at least one or the other. If you do go and there is an older guy working behind the counter, get him to make your sandwich; he seems to make the best! Heads up, though, some in this community have described some of their crew as "the Sandwich N*z*s", referring to an old Seinfield episode about a restaurateur who sells soup! I would sum up by saying that they could be really good, but after visiting them occasionally for many years, they seem to be going the other direction, very VERY slowly. But I will give them 4 stars for their collection of railroad memorabilia. read more

This place we saw on a trip to Riverton recently. Our brakes went out and we spent 4 days waiting for the fix. While walking main street the Breadboard sign stood out from the rest. We walked up the hill on the other side of Main Street towards the SMITH's grocery store and decided to come back to this place. We even passed up the DEPOT; a mexican place in seemingly the same parking lot area. The sandwiches were alright. They have combos that are set have lots of room for customization; it just costs extra if you go off of the list that normally goes on the sandwich. I had a Club Car on French bread with Horser-raddish, cheddar, pepperJack & all the veggies included. it was an average sandwich place, but it had some good choices. I kinda wish i would have picked the Chicken Curry sandwich. It was very filling, and the price was right. read more

Not the worst place in this town I've been to, but certainly not the best. The service is rude. Someone else mentioned that! What is it about these eating establishments that the staff stands around and texts. I was certainly not welcome and the people in front of me unless they knew the guy that owns the place or his minions. I had a sandwich on pretty dry bread. Some Italian combo. I shouldn't have eaten it after watching the guy prepare it as he scratched his arms and had the indecentcy to scratch under one of his arms. EEEEEOOOOOW. I was starving so I ate an unremarkable sandwich at an unremarkable place, Restrooms need cleaned. Sink was cruddy. My fav is the Piggyback Sandwich. It's full of yummy cold cuts AND bacon. The soups are great: fresh made daily. I love the beer cheese soup on Wednesdays and the chili is great any ole day of the week. The employees at all the Breadboards' are great and their focus is on providing great food for their customers. There are few places to eat around our town and when you find a great one (as this one is!) you stick with 'em. Clean work/prep areas, homemade daily breads/rolls, clean and nice employees, clean restrooms, excellent parking, clean tables. You can tell if a place is great because of lines and if the cops eat there...both of which happen at the Riverton/Lander stores!! Peeps at the Riverton (and Lander) thanks for feedin' me well, you make a heck of a sandwich and soup for my old bones and do it better than I could ever do it. I got a 6" Rueben and the rye bread was amazing! My wife got the 6" Chicken Salad Sandwich and loved it too! Fresh breads make all the difference with these subs and we both walked away not feeling like we just ate heavy, oil, processed foods. I've always liked their sandwiches. They are good. However, while passing through we stopped to say hi to my nephew who was working there at the time, and have lunch. I waved at my nephew and the owner said he couldn't talk he was too busy and told him to stock chips. Nobody was expecting him to get a 15 minute break, but he couldn't wave hello? We purchased over $50 in food. While my nephew hung chips, my brother from Iowa tried to say hello and the owner yelled at us again. He wasn't even allowed to say hello. I can understand if it was lunch hour, but we were the only ones in line. If they were busy, it's because our group of 5 was there. We were not a group of teenagers coming to harass him or keep him from his work, but he is not allowed to wave or even say hi to family? Family that is there because he works there. Family that are paying customers?? I didn't appreciate her treatment of us or my nephew. Needless to say, he no longer works there. His dad told him it was his last day. I will never give my money to them again. You can have good food, but you need some decency as well. A little respect, and a 2 min pause to say hello to paying customers would have gone a long way. But a sandwich is a sandwich and a bitch is a bitch. I'd rather get subway and skip the ungrateful attitude. read more
