This was our first time coming here and it was kind of disappointing. We ordered pho, cream cheese wonton and pad Thai. The service was really slow and the pho had way more broth than noodles or meat. It was also kind of pricey for what you get. The only thing I like was the cream cheese wonton. The sweet and sour dipping sauce was good, but other than that, it definitely needs improvement

The food is so delicious. Best Yellow Curry with chicken. Lots of chicken and just the right amount of vegetables. The waitress was so nice and welcoming us. Fast service also. We ordered then did our shopping and the timing was perfect. Delicious. Will definitely be returning

Delicious Thai food! I had their Chicken Pho and it was good, a little salty but not bad. However their Pad See Ew is to die for. Very light seasoning with a hint of sweetness makes it so delicious! Server was amazing. It is a tiny place so in the evening it is not very crowded. Great place to go eat if you're looking for reasonably priced Thai food.

We came to Joshua Tree to celebrate a friend's birthday on a holiday weekend(12.28) , which meant large crowds and busy restaurants . We came here hoping to enjoy a meal. Our party of six walked in and were immediately and rudely told there was no room for us, I'm quoting the server " theres no room for you." We weren't asking to all sit together and were happy to be flexible- especially since we had been out exploring Joshua Tree all day and were hungry . There were a couple of empty tables, yet we weren't given a chance to explore our options. No greeting, no kindness, just dismissal. Being busy doesn't excuse being unkind and unprofessional. I'm sharing this experience in the hope that it reaches management and the server involved, so the issue can be addressed and future guests don't have a similar experience.

Everything was delicious. Friendly and attentive service, clean, and reasonably priced. Will come again.

Okay, being totally honest, this wasn't the absolute best food of our entire Joshua Tree-Palm…read moreSprings trip, but a close 2nd. BUT it was definitely the biggest, most positive surprise when it came to expectations vs. actual quality! We landed in Palm Springs late in the evening and were starving on our way out to Joshua Tree. After a quick Yelp search for something open past 7-8pm, this spot popped up. We pulled into a super quiet parking lot and found this tiny little place. Looking at it from the outside, we honestly figured it would just be a quick, forgettable pitstop. Boy, were we wrong. For starters, the place was relatively full for a Tuesday evening! We ordered the duck confit nachos, the kimchi bulgogi sandwich, and the pony wings. Wow! Granted, our expectations were unfairly low walking in, but this turned out to be probably our second-best meal of the entire week--and we ate out every single day! It absolutely crushed it in terms of exceeding expectations. It also helped that we happened to be there on a Wednesday, so all the wines were half-priced! Unfortunately, since we weren't familiar with the area, we didn't know exactly how much further we had to drive to our accommodations, so we couldn't imbibe more in such a welcoming environment. (Missed opportunity, but safety first!) Oh, and definitely save room for dessert--their pie with ice cream of the day was delicious too! If you are passing through, do not sleep on this place. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

There is a dog friendly patio so we sat out back with our pups and ordered them puppy patties. Service was ok; since we were in the patio and it was a holiday they were super busy so it was understandable that we had to wait quite awhile for things (drinks, check, etc). But they servers all worked together and were nice. They grat parties of 5 an automatic 20%, but it's on the menu so be be mindful of that. The food was not bad. They had a special BBQ menu for the 4th, but didn't have the jalpeno cornbread so we went another direction. We ordered a $5 mimosa and the pretzel bites with BOMB queso and split the smashburger. All were awesome. My friends ordered the chicken sandwich and absolutely RAVED about how good it was!! Overall, this place is awesome and we can't wait to go back and sit at the very lively bar and watch some sports!

Thirty of us (reasonable adults age 50+, many meeting for the first time) booked 5 separate OpenTable reservations to get acquainted before a birthday party the next day. Each table had its own reservation with enough seats for everyone. Throughout the evening, staff were quick to tell us 'that's not how we do things here' without offering much of an explanation of how things are actually done. This came up regarding more than two people standing at the host stand for their reservation (they eventually pointed us to a patio, which they could have just done from the get-go), our multiple reservations (the only difference between us and any other table is that we had a shared reason for being there), and when we asked if we could evenly split a check across more than one credit card at a table of 8. The policies themselves were fine, the tone however was condescending. We also understand outside food fees (one of us brought a box of cupcakes in honor of the birthday), but charging each table a $25 "cake fee" when cupcakes were only consumed at one table felt excessive. We had high hopes for a place we were excited to visit. We hope they refine their approach for future guests.

We missed our reservation time but decided to try a walk in because it was the whole reason we came into town in the first place. We were greeted by two really nice hosts who assured us there was room for us sooner than later and we were seated with our dog on the patio pretty quickly. They were so nice to us and doubly nice to our dog! We ordered fried eggplant, gazpacho, ceviche, a lamb burger, and got a lamb burger patty for the dog (we're not order food for the dog people but she was going through it too with the Walmart stuff so why not). We added a couple glasses of wine and their beer shandy and finished with a strawberry shortcake. Every bite was perfect but we rated them- Gazpacho, Lamb Burger, Eggplant, Ceviche. The gazpacho was a hit with the perfect amount of fresh/sweet cantaloupe and spicy-ness. This place was well worth the trip from Big Bear. My wife noted that everyone there that helped us legit looked happy to be there. There was also a medical emergency and the staff was so kind and helpful throughout and checked in on all the tables in the area afterwards. It kind of showed that they are invested in the people that visit.

We got really lucky - reservations open a month in advance, and we were headed to Joshua Tree the next day. I thought for sure I wasn't going to get a reservation and needed to think of a Plan B for date night. But I texted anyway, with an apology for it being so last minute, and they responded the day of confirming me for the next day! Yay! When we arrived, we asked for a seat inside, since it was super windy that day, and they were able to seat us within a few minutes. We got the butter lettuce salad (delicious), the socarrat (lots of peas and pea sprouts - this was AMAZING, and great the next day cold!), their version of bruschetta on their crispy thin bread - the bread was absolutely amazing. And we also got the tomato...um, I can't remember what it's called, but it has a base of sliced tomatoes, with hard boiled eggs, celery, and tuna aioli! Super refreshing on a super hot day. We also got a couple non-alcky drinks and left very happy. It was loud inside for sure - or, bustling, if we want to be more euphemistic. Service for us was a bit on the chilly side, but that might just be the night our server was having. There are 2 single-stalled bathrooms, and parking is very easy in the huge lot they have. I think we might circle back to this place after trying other eats around the area. This was a good time.

ANYWAY. We have been here a couple of times - will usually stop by here when we're in Joshua Tree. On Saturdays, there is a Farmer's Market in the parking lot, so it gets pretty crowded. This last time we went, I got an iced strawberry matcha, and my partner got the chai iced tea. Both with almond milk. They still charge a surplus for non-dairy, which feels so 2022. But anyway. The drinks were delicious. We also got an almond croissant, which doesn't look like much, but it was AMAZING. And then the quiches. Oh, the quiches. I had such high hopes for these, especially since we were primed with refreshing drinks and a tasty pastry. These quiches are muffin-sized, perfect for a light meal or a heavier snack, and they look super cute. They will heat them up for you. When we went, they had bacon cheddar and spinach feta. We got one of each. My friends, these were so disappointing. First, no flavor. We asked for ketchup or hot sauce to give it a bit of acid, because it was basically egg all the way through. Solid wall of egg that tasted like the powdered egg you get at one of those corporate conference catered breakfasts. I had one tiny sliver of bacon in mine, and my partner was playing hide and seek with the spinach, and the spinach was winning. The crust itself was rubbery and chewy, not flaky like I would expect a quiche to be. I mean, it was palatable and not super expensive. I'm just not sure if you're selling food, you want it to just be "palatable". Last time, we got a savory veggie pie, and that was pretty good, so they DO have good savory foods. I think the quiches were just a huge miss this time. Bathroom is clean and single-stalled. Parking is easy in the lot, and on Farmer's Market days, I mean, c'mon, it's Joshua Tree, it's not like there isn't space on the streets too.
