Great food! Been coming here for years ever since going to UIC. Still good as I remember and worth traveling up to an hour. Highly recommend and worth traveling up to an hour

This was my first time visiting/ trying this place as a carry out order. When I visited the restaurant the entrance door was blocked off and you were unable to even enter the restaurant (not sure what that was about); however, the Pad Thai was pretty good and definitely was a nice portion for the price.

Had a craving for Thai and this was the closest place near me so being new to the area decided to try it out. It is a small shop, and there is street parking in the nearby streets. Wasn't very busy on the inside but they seem to have had a decent amount of delivery orders. Was a bit confused by the set up as it doesn't immediately tell you to sit down and then order OR order and then sit down, but cashier/server was helpful in clarifying my confusion. They have lunch combos and special drinks that aren't listed on the menu, which is good to consider for next lunch time. However, I really wanted curry. Got myself the panang curry with tofu and one of the special drinks, the horchata Thai iced tea. The prices are good for the amount of food, but I also don't think the food is that spectacular. It's not bad, but it's just okay. A bit shocked that they don't ask for a spicy level preference, which didn't bother me at first cause the spice level was perfect for me, but had I wanted it spicier that wasn't provided for me. Good peanut taste for the curry though! I love horchata. I love Thai iced tea, so I was really looking forward to this fusion drink. I think that the horchata overwhelms the Thai tea that it doesn't have that wow-ness that I was expecting. Still, gotta admire the creativity. Might come again and try the pad Thai, and the regular Thai tea.

Only available for takeout now, but the portions and service are great! They also have a nice seating area with tables outside and some lights at night.

There was a small wait. They set up a table to separate the staff from you and it's to prevent entry. They had a bell to alert someone. It took a short while, but the food was still hot when we got home. The bag was pretty heavy and I was so full from the pad thai. The serving size was pretty big for the pad thai and it was very saucy with a decent amount of chicken. For the red curry, it was smaller than some places but it'll keep you full. I tipped a little more and they added crab rangoons. (2/3 were gone by the time I took a photo.) They were so crispy and the sauce that comes with it was delicious.

There are window views from the restaurant, making for good people watching. Mainly metered parking available Medium to large sized place with dedicated sections for thai food (about 8 tables and 2 rows of bar style seats) vs for sushi and ramen but all under the same place/owner, can order from any menu - the decor on that side is super cute, fish cutouts, anime/manga decorated walls, decked out bars Got the scuba diving chicken from the chefs faves and must say it was pretty good - a bit on the greasier side but the aroma of the herbs and the spices from the curry really pull through, chicken is cooked very well, super tender and juicy. I got the "No turning back" spice level and theres a hefty kick - halfway into the dish my mouth def feels it but nothing too extreme (FYI theres a slight mala-like numbingness to it) The traditional papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, sauce is tangy but not too overwhelming. The peanuts add a nice nutty element to it. There were hardly any dried shrimp, so wouldve like to see a bit more of that. Be sure to give it a good mix as the sauce and topping fall to bottom of the bowl To top it off, the service was great. Albert was really attentive and helpful - would come back if im in the gold coast area again to try the other menu offerings

Seating was a little tight like at Phodega, but not terrible. To view menu, you scan a QR code at the table. My husband & I ordered the following: - Grilled Squid This was really good! I thought it was going to come out like little calamari rings, but it was actually a decently sized whole squid, sliced with the tentacles on the side. It was cooked perfectly as it was not chewy or rubbery. The flavor was great, especially with the paired Thai-spicy seafood sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice Loved that this was with real crab! & not the imitation crab. There were bits of crab meat throughout the rice and then topped with a big lump of crab meat. It came served with a lime & yummy fish sauce with fresh Thai chili's. - Bamee Noodles with BBQ Pork without broth This bowl of egg noodles had a slightly sweet flavor to it, served with a fox amount of BBQ Pork which was also nice & tender! Slurped it all up! - Jina's Fried Chicken This was good, but not anything like out of this world. It was fried chicken leg quarter, served with black sticky rice. - Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango LOVED this! It was a great way to end our meal! I loved that it came with extra sweet sauce! - Taro Tapioca in Coconut Milk Cream This was great too! It was actually a warm dessert. The menu described it as "Tapioca pearls" so I was expecting the tiny little clear boba balls, but it was cubes of like glutinous rice. Which was not bad! I liked it a lot; it reminded me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo (#iykyk if you're Filipino)! Overall, a delicious experience! We would eat here again!
