Instant new fav spot in RVA. The interior is cozy and eclectic, super fun vibes, and the bartenders and staff are awesome. The cocktail list is one of the absolute best I've seen in a WHILE. Love that everything on it has a bit of tropical vibe, especially their mule. Their food (we got pad Thai and crab fried rice) was fantastic! Cannot wait to go back here every chance possible.

This place has such great food, great vibes, and wonderful staff. If they had a better happy hour, I'd be here all the time! Some of the best thai food in the area, but a little on the pricier side. Will definitely be back though!

Thai Boat is an amazing new place that opened up in the Fan. I loved all they had to offer! The service was amazing, the portions were large, and the prices are fair. I loved the presentation of each dish, they put a lot of care into it. Highlights of my visit were: - Pad Kee Mao with Tofu (Drunken Noodles) -Rice was in a cute cat shape! -my dish came in a cute boat With its proximity to bars and Carytown, this would make a great date night spot.

Really great Thai spot. Husband and I got the Moo Ping as an appetizer and entrees were Pad See Eaw and Thai Basil. All were amazing. If you like spicy, try their dry chili seasoning but use sparingly. Staff was super friendly and food was good in timely manner and definitely fresh to order. I'd say this Thai restaurant is on par with somewhere like My Noodle Bar. Oh and the two cutest things were shaping the rice into a cat and serving my entree in a boat dish.

Enjoyed a warm lunch on a cold Saturday afternoon with a friend. We skipped cocktails today opting for Cokes and started with the crab rangoons and pork belly. Those were prob the best rangoons I've had in my life!! For the main I had the red curry and my friend had a soup. Both were delicious and enough to take home for a second meal. Service was attentive, the fella was happy to offer recommendations. The only con was how freezing it was in there. Cold enough where everyone had their winter coats on while eating. The metal seats prob made the situation worse. Regardless would go back to try something different (on a warmer day)

Very cute, intimate vibe with funky decor. Vibrant bar with a local feel. Large menu and awesome service. My friend ordered the pad Thai which arrived in a wooden boat! My green curry was really good as well.

Been really excited for this place to open! Really great unique Thai food, as well as great service and atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is amazing! The food was delicious and the ambiance was great. We sat outside and the outdoor seating area is so cozy and shaded, perfect for nice weather. The staff were so sweet and attentive. They all came to greet us and gave us complimentary mochi! The food was so so good! We got a dish that our waitress recommended, Khaw Klook Kapi, which is something i've never had before but was so good and flavorful. The rice was even shaped like a cat which was such a cute touch. We also got the wonton skewers as our appetizer and they were DELICIOUS! Super excited to come back again and try a cocktail next time, they have a huge cocktail menu and they all sound great. Would definitely recommend just for the friendly staff alone, and the food is also so great!

    Mister Noodle

This Thai Restaurant opened in October of 2025 I recently discovered it and I love Thai food so this was an easy pick for me. Walking into this restaurant you are greeted with a wonderful fun decor and extremely friendly staff. The menu is full of great choices from fresh appetizers, soups, noodle dishes so many choices. I ordered the kanoom-Jeep and the Nam Tok Neua both of these were absolutely delicious so many fresh flavors perfectly cooked. Moving on to entrees I ordered the Mister Noodle and the Larb Gai. These were delicious and plenty of food with very good portions. This place is amazing. Highly recommended and I will return very soon. So happy to have this gem so close to my house.

I have heard good things from colleagues, some of them state that this is their favorite ramen in Richmond, though I have to say, I'm not convinced this place deserves their high praise. When we arrived, we ordered a drink at the bar, but were quickly seated thereafter, and our drinks that we ordered at the bar simply never arrived. When we spoke to the server about this, she seemed confused, and appeared to be somewhat new, and ultimately did not honor that happy hour prices of our drinks that ended up showing up 30 minutes later. Furthermore, one drink that I ordered was regular price, but the price listed on the menu was incorrect, and again the server would not the lower price that was printed on the menu. I was not informed of this error until the receipt was printed. The ramen itself was fine. I've had better, I've had worse. I felt like the broth itself was overall way too salty, and lacked the depth the flavor that I was seeking in a ramen broth. The noodles were well cooked and al dente, and the toppings were a nice addition. All in all, my experience here was rather disappointing, and I really hope that there's better ramen in Richmond.

The decor was what you'd expect, with torn seats and unsteady tables, and the aromas from the seafood counter did nothing to help. Then food arrived; my bibimbap came with hot stone bowl (which cost extra) and it was needed since the food was room temperature. After much stirring, it finally warmed up a bit. The egg was fried 'over hard' - not a nice runny yolk that should ooze and coat the rice. Also there was no seasoning, fortunately a side dish of gochujang was provided. Wife had ma pa tofu which was...different - in a Korean/Chinese fusion. Not traditional, but tasted better than mine. All-in all, not worth while.

I had only planned on spending $60 or so but ended up spending $140 including a great tip for my waiter. I got the Fried Chicken Banh Mi, Dan Dan Noodles, and my guest ordered the Brisket Pho, and Singapore noodles alongside a Mojito and their coconut ice cube drink (blanking on the name). I loved every bite of my food. The Daikon Radish was the highlight of the Banh Mi and I was in love with every bite. Visibly dancing and gleaming with joy while eating + the great music being played also helped. I didn't eat my sandwich until it got cold as I like to finish a dish before trying another. I started with the Dan Dan noodles and had to drink 3 of the liters of water by myself to finish my meal . I took my guest's peppers and my peppers and crushed them up into my Dan Dan plate with all the seeds that came with them. In addition I also used all the chili oil paste it came with as well. It was so damn great I enjoyed every second. My guest loved their pho and didn't stop eating it and ate half of their Singapore noodles before getting full and having to take it home. They absolutely loved their drinks and it was so fun to watch the bartender make the drinks. Two shakers in hand mixing the drinks and oh boy were they strong . We will definitely be back!!! Oh and they also had chopsticks for us to use and we ate our entire meal with them. I knew I was in for a whirlwind of flavor when the ethnicities of the cooks matched the restaurant and patrons of color from Pakistani, Black, Indian, Korean, Thai, and more were dining in . Only downsides for me personally were the Singapore noodles but it wasn't my dish. I tasted them and didn't think they were for me I usually prefer a different ratio of seasoning for my Singapore noodles. My guest whose favorite dish is Singapore noodles quite adored them. Though they did say the Singapore noodles I make at home are better they still crushed it and the next morning woke up and crushed the rest with a smile on the face . Only thing I didn't like was the pho but that's my personal taste getting in the way. I don't like fish based broths but my guest ate every single last dropped and loved it! So if that's your alley go for it!!! 10/10 will try again!!! P.S. please tip the staff graciously they work so hard. If you're going to order a $100 worth of food don't be the person not tipping or tipping $10 when the service was excellent. We ordered the veggie spring rolls to start, and I had the Chinatown Ramen, and my partner had the Chicken Fried Noodles. The appetizer was hot, savory, and spicy with the duck sauce and hot mustard mixture. If you like milder sauce, do not mix it. The entrees came out within five or so minutes of the appetizers, which seemed quick for a busy night. The ramen was spicy, hot, and filling. I was only able to finish about half. If you are looking for a traditional American-Chinese food restaurant (think buffet-style items), this is likely not the place for you. There were no mishaps or snafus with our orders.
