I ordered food for delivery and it took an hour to arrive. I had the chicken satay and the lunch special of pad thai noodles that comes with a spring roll, salad, and soup. The satay was dry and rubbery and the salad I got was such a tiny portion. The overall quality was not great at all and not what I've known Thai Basil to be in the past. I hope this was because it was a delivery but regardless I was disappointed.

We were looking for some Thai in the Brownsburg area and this was a good suggestion. The restaurant is beautiful and well cared for. Our server was very nice and helped us pick out a few dishes. We started with vegetable tempura, which was great. Nice light batter so you can taste the vegetables. I had the cashew nut with tofu. They do not mess around with spice. I had the hot and it was perfect. The price point at this location is very reasonable as well. We will come back often.

Just like saying yes to the dress, I said a big, enthusiastic yes to Thai Basil. My love for Thai food is no secret and this spot instantly brightened my day. I stopped by for a takeout lunch and was greeted by clean tables, a friendly smile, and lots of tempting menu suggestions. Thai Basil has parking lot, and you can choose to dine in or grab your meal to go. I went with the Massaman curry, ordered it medium hot with tofu, and was delighted when it arrived with a spring roll, salad, and soup. Talk about a lunch. Most Thai places only toss in a spring roll or soup, but here, they know how to treat a hungry guest. I ate my food and felt full and happy, ready for a nap. Next time I am turning up the heat and trying it hot, because I like my curry with a little more kick. This curry had a fun twist with a touch of sweetness, pineapple, nuts, and a few surprise ingredients I had never seen before. The food was fantastic and I will absolutely be back when I run out of new to me places in town. The portions are generous, the price is right, and Thai Basil just earned a spot in my Thai foodie hall of fame. Thai Basil, you have a new fan. The only hiccup was that most of my soup took a little trip in the bag, thanks to a sneaky/broken lid that didn't stay put. Thankfully, the bit that survived was delicious!

This is great Thai place in Brownsburg. My friend and I met for lunch here on a Friday afternoon. There was no wait, which was great! Servers were attentive and friendly. Soup comes with lunch and a as a great way to start our meal. We both got lunch specials and they hit the spot. Great food, friendly service, plenty of parking...we will be back!

Great reviews led us to this little Thai restaurant in Brownsburg. The restaurant is in a nicely renovated former fast food structure. The inside is serene and upscale (for the most part) with a mix of booths and tables. Pong, our server, brought us soup and water as we sat down. He was attentive and kind. He checked on us regularly. The lunch menu offers many Thai favorites for $11.99. Meals include the entree, salad and spring roll, which is a great deal and the portions are generous. Food came out in 15 minutes, hot and fresh! I ordered Pad Pak Ruam with Tofu. My plate was artful and huge. Pad Pak Ruam is packed with vegetables in a tangy garlicky sauce that was beyond delicious. The salad dressing was sweet with Thai flavors. The small spring roll was crunchy and yummy. I loved this healthy plate and recommend. My husband had Chicken Pad Thai. His meal came with salad and spring, too. He loved the Pad Thai and ended up bringing half of it home. They have a bar and serve wine and beer. There is parking around the building. I recommend highly.

    Mango Curry with Chicken. Excellent!

Wow - best Thai I have had in years. Crazy fresh veggies. Well done! The Tom Yum was excellent, as well as the Mango Curry.

We walked in at 8:30PM on a Sunday. We were seated quickly, food came out so fast and we were leaving by 9 PM. This is our new favorite Thai in Brownsburg!

Eating lunch out for one person adds up too fast these post-COVID days. I don't do it often because it's too expensive, especially for what you get. But Thai Basil? I'll be going again for lunch. For $13 (including tax!), you get a choice of many Thai staples that come with soup, salad, and a spring roll. Because of the price, I expected the quality to be the worst. I was wrong! The Massaman curry I ordered was as good as my other favorite Thai places in Indy. Plus, the server was so friendly and we were greeted and seated right away. Clean, friendly, delicious, and fast. Excellent choice for lunch!

My husband wanted Thai food tonight for dinner, so we headed to Brownsburg to Thai Basil. Easy to find with a private parking lot. Lunch is offered from 11:00 - 3:00 p.m. and dinner is from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Note they are closed between 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. When we arrived, a patron was leaving and informed us they were only offering takeout. Their furnace had broken so there wasn't heat. They did have a couple of large space heaters where guests could be warm while waiting for their takeout. It was very considerate of them. We ordered the Thai Dumplings with ground pork and veggies wrapped in a wonton skin and steamed. I love these dumplings and should place 2 orders as my lunch or dinner. They are that flavorful and so tasty. My husband ordered the Pad Wun Sen, #27, hot, with chicken, stir-fried silver noodles, and mixed veggies (no mushrooms) in a tasty brown sauce He loves his Thai food, prepared hot, and tonight did not disappoint. He was very happy with dinner. I ordered my usual Pad Kee Mao, #26, medium heat, flat noodles, chicken, stir-fried egg, and mixed veggies (minus broccoli and add cabbage) in a Thai Basil sauce. I love the flat noodles and could order just a plate of flat noodles without meat or veggies. They are never overcooked and delicious. The chicken was tender and bite- size, plus the veggies were crisp-tender. It's always my favorite Thai meal. The restaurant was chilly without heat, but as always, the server was polite and friendly, plus made a point to make sure the heater was close to me. Our order arrived quickly, and we were on our way within minutes. Even under unwanted conditions, they remained open, professional, and apologetic. We are always very happy dining at Thai Basil.

Got the combo rice. They give you a lot but the taste was underwhelming. I'll probably go again but will try something else.

Food was very good. But portions were small for the price. Great to see a little diversity in Brownsburg.

This is a wonderful family-owned business that serves Halal Thai food. On a recent visit they were knowledgeable and able to accommodate many gluten free dishes, including rice, curry, and pepper steak (which is hard with Thai food given that most sauces/soy sauce has wheat)! My favorite foods here are the hot and sour soup, fried rice, drunken noodles, pepper steak, and red curry. Service is always so caring, kind, and attentive. She told us to sit wherever we wanted and brought us bottles of water. The food took about 15 minutes to prepare. The Pad Thai was perfectly seasoned with a slight (mild) heat. The chicken was moist and delicious. The spring roll was crispy and tasty with a wonderful sweet sauce. There was an up-charge for credit cards use. We found plenty of parking in their small private lot. A single unisex restroom is available to customers. Tin's is a little off the beaten path in Clermont, but worth the visit.

Tonight, I opted for medium spice and it was spot on. My dining partner tried tonight's special which was Sizzling Shrimp. Stir fried shrimp and vegetables. We both opted for dessert this evening. Dining partner had the sticky rice with custard (didn't get a pic), and it was really good. I had the fried bananas with vanilla ice cream. The bananas were perfectly done, just the right amount of breading and wonderfully caramelized. Portion sizes on both desserts were very generous and well priced. Service was great as always.

She even brought a covered water for our toddler granddaughter. All in all, good experience and I would return.

I will say that the menu is way bigger than online so be prepared to see some happy surprises. As per mentioned we did order a papaya salad. It was very refreshing with a nice salty-sour taste to it. Also as part of the appetizers we ordered the fried calamari and Thai dumplings. Both were so good, the Thai dumplings were very filling and full of flavor. On to the main course, we ordered roasted duck curry with white jasmine rice and beef pad see ew. Both dishes were great but the roasted duck curry was fantastic!
