Pineapple curry with chicken.
Jane N.

A great find in Black Mountain. I ordered the pineapple curry with chicken & my husband had the eggplant with tofu. Both were delicious. Table side spices allowed me to kick the heat up a notch.

This place is a Helene survivor and under new management... the food is hands DOWN some of the best curry I've ever had! Get the yellow sweet and add some spice! Also the sushi boat was amazing!! On the app side ... the crab Rangoon and dumplings were FANTASTIC! Highly recommend! Come for your birthday and get the sushi boat and some sake!!!

I loved the decor and ambiance of this restaurant. As for service, the waiters were good about refilling our water cups and the food came out reasonably fast. I ordered the turmeric curry with chicken and it was so good!! The curry sauce had amazing flavor and the perfect hint of spice. The vegetables were soft and tender and the rice on the side went beautifully with the dish. My sisters ordered the pad Thai and pad see-ew and both of these dishes had great flavor as well. I was super impressed by all the dishes we tried here and I would love to come back and try more!

First Thai meal. Last at this restaurant. Pad Thai was a heap of orange, bland, uneventful, overlooked pasta. Never again :(

Our waiter was pleasant. We did order tea and it was just flavored water. The entrees were delicious though.

The Pad Kee Mow is excellent. Great prices on beer. The spicy catfish is my daughter's favorite. Good food, good service!

We saw some exquisite dishes come to tables around us. We ended deciding on the safe route. We ordered hot egg rolls, dumplings and garlic wings as appetizers and followed with chicken fried rice. Three thin egg rolls deep fried, almost like cigars, and sweet and savory sauce. There were 5 dumplings ... just delicious with the soy based sauce. Five chicken wings rounded out the start. We wanted them extra crispy - the kitchen did not execute. Fried rice was perfect - crunchy with plenty of protein, a combination of shrimp and chicken. Portion size was large. Would definitely return. Classic flavors, friendly service and good value. Highly recommend without any reservations. Enjoyed the experience.

Always consistently delicious. My favorites are the B5 with no noodles side of onions and the wings. I seriously wish they would bottle that wing sauce. I would put it on everything.

I'm always leery of Thai restaurants and especially sushi in new locations, from past experience. We also had a bunch of restaurant recommendations from our Airbnb host and this was not one of them, but my husband picked it so I decided to give it a try. We walked in and were warmly greeted and sat. The restaurant was dimly lit which I prefer, the tables spacious and inviting. I had a few questions about the curry dishes which the waitress easily answered, leading me to order the yellow curry with chicken I left out the peppers and added broccoli and carrots. I haven't had a curry dish in many years that I've been pleased with so this was taking a leap of faith. My husband ordered the Monster sushi roll and the Basil Fried Rice with chicken (very traditional dish). The sushi arrived first and we both dug in. I was super impressed at how good it was. Our main dishes arrived and it was exactly what I was hoping for, a comforting curry dish full of vegetables and flavor. It was a tad too spicy for me but the pineapple pieces in it balanced it perfectly. My husband loved his food as well and our only regret is not living close enough to eat here more! We loved it so much that we ordered takeout to bring home with us on our way home. This is a fairly new restaurant in the area and I highly recommend you give them a try!

It can be busy, and there can be a wait depending on how busy it is. Though, it is worth it! I ordered the staple, chicken pad Thai!!! Spice level #4! I am glad that I stopped here! Cheers.

So, that's how I chose Thai food to close out the year. Parking. It's on Broadway. Check the signs. Don't get excited like me and pull in only to find it's for loading/unloading or handicapped. I ended up just parking in one of the lots. 3 hour parking for $18.50. I don't know if that's the standard rate or if it was inflated for NYE but after having done a few laps, I just said WTH and pulled right in. It was only a block and a half away. The place wasn't packed but bustling with to go orders. We did arrive later and by the time we left, there were only a few tables occupied. Not being busy, but also being sat where we were - service was great. Attentive as we were always within line of sight of the team and all we needed to do was make eye contact. Not that we needed to other than refills and for me, spicy chili powder/sauce. Food was good. Not spicy - but as my friend would say - nothing is spicy for me. But I wanted the added heat as it was a little chilly out. Good flavors but not explosions like I'm used to. Not that it was bad - maybe it was on the muted side for the demographics? It was a very nice tasty dinner to close out 2025!

I've only been there once, so far, considering they just opened this week. I started with the spicy tuna salad, and it was full of beautiful chunks that I THOUGHT were diced tomatoes at first, the kimchi sauce and accoutrements were very satisfying. Because it was my first time there, I also ordered pad see ew, to try their hot food. The crab Rangoon appetizer was so light, crunchy, and flavorful, I wanted more. The entree was very tasty and satisfying, though the size was a bit modest. But it is an affordable lunch special, right? Wifey tried the California rule, and reported it was perfect, spring roll was excellent, and her panang curry was excellent, I was not offered a nibble! Next time, I will try the seafood sushi...

There was a 20 percent gratuity added to our tickets with only 5 people on our ticket. Expensive food and poor service!
