Small Thai restaurant near the hospitals! There's inside is clean and bright. When you walk in, you can order at the counter, and they will bring your drinks and food to the table. There's not many places to sit, but it was not crowded at all and easy to find a table. Ordered the steamed dumplings as an appetizer. They were hot, fresh, and very flavorful. The sauce was great, and the garlic crunch on top added great texture to the dish. The garlic chicken rice entree was also amazing! It had just the right amount of sauce, and it wasn't too salty. There was a good portion of chicken and vegetables to balance the rice, and the cilantro on the top added some more flavor. Overall, the service was great. There was some lag with the entrees for everyone in the group (some people got theirs 5 min before others), so I think it'd be best if all dishes were brought out at the same time. Also, the dumplings were brought out after the entrees, which was a weird order considering we ordered it as an appetizer. Otherwise, service was good, and food was great! Parking is super easy. Since they have been under new management the quality and service have gone down drastically. They now have exorbitant fees to order on the website and even more for delivery whereas as it was a reasonable fee before. The amount of food given had noticeably decreased while the quality of ingredients has also regressed. Even the seasoning/recipes are different with no warning or explanation. Let me start by saying that I would recommend the Pineapple Tea. A few days ago, I had the Spicy Basil Fried Rice, which was amazing. I shared it with four others, all of whom said it was great and that they would order it again. Today, I tried the Chicken Pad Thai and added shrimp. This place never disappoints. Today, I stopped after work to grab dinner for my mom and me. Today, I got basil fried rice with chicken and curry powder along with curry puffs ( 1st time for the puffs). Now my mother got some delicious jasmine curry fried rice with shrimp and spring rolls. Shrimp fried rice ...the rice was so flavourful that no soy or duck sauce needed, the veggies were fresh and the shrimp were definitely shrimping so plump and not overcooked at all this dish is a 10, so the reason today it was 4 stars is the spring rolls. Usually, they are so light and crispy that, unfortunately, that was not the case today. They tasted a little chewy, but they were ok, but i feel like it just may have been a bad day for spring rolls for me. Now the basil fried rice was so yummy, the chicken was moist, again the veggies were fresh and the rice and basil combo gave it a hint of sweetness...absolute perfection. The curry puffs were delicious, the pastry was buttery and light, and the filling was so good that I would definitely order again. You must try this place. Thai 2 Go Thai 2 Go serves some of the most popular Thai dishes. The service and cleanliness is ok the restaurant is small so you have more attention. A lot of their business is from takeout togo. They have a variety of Curries and you can adjust your spice level from 1-4. All their curries are not light in flavor but all are robust with strong flavors. Pinang curry is my favorite curry because of its rich robust flavor. Probably one my favorite dish they serve here is the Garlic Chicken which has sliced cucumber, broccoli, tender chicken and served on a fluffy bed of rice. The gravy makes this dish special because that is where all the flavor is. The gravy is garlicky, creamy and fragrant. Items I recommend getting are the pad Thai chicken, Penang beef curry, Thai fried rice, Garlic Chicken, and mussaman beef curry. read more

Update: I tried another dish at Thai2Go. This time it was Praram Long Song. This dish was very tasty and had much more flavor then my previous two orders. I really enjoyed it. So I think things are improving at Thai2Go. I raised my star level from 2 to 3. I do think the spice level is still off. On the zero to 5 spice level I ordered a "1" and my mouth is still burning 15 minutes after finishing. I guess I just need to order zero spice in the future. If you think this place is good you must never have had good Thai food. This was the worst I have eaten. The menu says brown rice, no brown rice. The Tom Kha was watery and translucent. Was there any coconut milk in it? And the chicken in it was very chewy. The red and green curries were just barely passable. The portions were very small, not that we wanted more. This place is definitely not authentic Thai. It is so Americanized that it tastes like Thai food in a frozen section of grocery stores. In fact, the ones at the grocery store tastes better. As you can see from the picture, it does not look appetizing. The only thing I managed to eat were the 3-4 strips of sliced beef and the stale Tofu. The tofu wasn't even a whole one but cut in half to fill up space in the box. It is flavorless and not any amount of fish sauce can salvage this meal. The only thing that tasted good was the $1.50 Coke bottle that I got with the meal. Thank goodness or else my blood sugar would be low. Save your money, gas and time by avoiding this restaurant if you are in the mood for Thai. Updating since the owner replied- This is not the first time you've heard people say it's mediocre and it's not authentic that. The reviews go all the way back to 2019. If you haven't done anything by now you won't. You've gotten way to comfortable with how it's currently doing. The order time and food time is quick but the cooks if even Thai should take an extra 15 minutes to sample and look at what they are cooking before cranking it out to just out of the door. Have you even tried your own restaurant food? I am not trying to be rude but this is just the honest truth. I am not going to sugarcoat it when I can save others from having to spend money and not be happy. Their Thai tea ($2.50) was abysmal, if you've ever had Thai tea then you know that radioactive orange is not the color it should be, it has the strangest chalky consistency and the boba tasted hard like it had been refrigerated. The sticky rice ($5.50) was presented well but the taste just didn't match. Not worth the price at all. The food isn't horrible but isn't good enough to be called mediocre. It borders on bad Chinese food in full disclosure. It just didn't taste like Thai at all! However, my coworkers who have never had thai before and don't like spicy food find the place to be consistent and great. They appreciate the delivery service and find it to be a change of pace from their usual meals. I love the Pad Woon Sen with chicken, shrimp, or both! I feel like Thai 2 Go is the healthiest Thai I've eaten. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and the glass noodles are not overdone and gummy. My 1st time ordering from them through GrubHub, which my review is based on their service. I didn't receive my food which I was prompted to call the store to check on the the status of my delivery which I was waiting over an hour for . I called the store the driver advised the lady who picked up the phone that he indeed delivered my food. I checked outside my door, nothing. Then I proceeded to look down the hall, nothing. The lady tells me to go to the 3rd floor because their driver delivered on the 3rd. I tell the lady I live on the second floor not the third, which my response was I have to go upstairs to the third floor where it was their delivery drivers error . She rudely responds and says "I guess". I advised her that her response was rude, and she replies that it wasn't, then eventually I tell her thank you and she's hangs up in my face. Good Customer service is essential when running a business. She could've rectified the situation better in my opinion, which she didn't . I ordered delivery - chicken pad Thai heat level 3 out of 4. Plus an order of fried egg rolls. The pad Thai was great. The noodles came with chunks of egg, onion, chicken plus peanuts and bean sprouts. They also sent soy sauce and hot sauce. After adding the soy sauce and thick red pepper sauce it was great. The fried egg rolls tasted fresh and came with a sweet vinegar sauce. The delivery was supposed to arrive in 50 min to 90 minutes but arrived in about 40 minutes. Great service and great food! I live next to Thai 2 go but never been until today. I ordered thru Grub-hub an hour before pick up and I got home and food was still hot and fresh. The service was pretty easy. I ordered the pad Thai and egg rolls, pad Thai was lacking flavor a lot. I had to keep adding hot chili oil, lime and the spice peppers it came with. The eggs were pretty good. She responds to any question you have with completely indifference and clearly showing your are inconvenience her life. I was the only customer there and she made me feel out of place. Ordered my usual: Pad Thai and Panang Chicken. Although the service was quick, the food was bland. Be sure to add enough spice. The dining area itself is small especially when it's busy. You would think the service staff would've been a little bit more friendly & attentive but they were not they almost seemed like they were put out that we were there. The wife and I went here for lunch. I ordered the soup for eat in and two egg rolls to go. The soup was horrible, could not eat it. The cashier wanted to charge me $1.25 for dipping sauce for the egg rolls. I said that is ridiculous. So we went back and forth a bit. I finally said fine, I will pay for the sauce if you will refund my money for your horrible soup. So he did. I got back $9 for the soup and paid $1.25 for the sauce. Spicy basil noodles: the garlic chili sauce was super yummy, packed with veggies, and a good spice level. Note: none of the coconut milk curries are vegetarian because they have fish sauce. So that was disappointing, and without being able to eat curry, I wouldn't want to come here again. However, it is very quick and they conveniently have lids for food you want to take out. Definitely just okay. Not really economical and certainly not impressive. The good news is the curry puff. Two Puffs for 5.75 and they are very well cooked in terms of the pastry but the flavor inside needed some dressing up, and they planned for it and serve it with this incredible little coleslaw or pico de gallo type thing with a sweet juice and minced cucumber onions and jalapeno. They go well together. My cashew chicken was so horribly bland that I ended up taking my little comdiment bowls of sriracha and soy sauce and just dumping them both into the dish and still didn't have much depth. The basil chicken was much better, but the flavor was so low-key it still seemed like it had had water run over it. $25 for two people and very unimpressive entrees.
