You scan the QR code at your table, order online, pay online and someone delivers all items (to your table) in takeout containers. Even with this updated experience, without "wait staff", everyone was helpful and attentive. The signature sticks, with the yum-yum sauce, has to be my personal favorite. You have to be so careful not to fill up on their delicious wontons and purple egg rolls (appetizers!) The restaurant and restrooms are clean and welcoming - nothing fancy, just what you would expect for small town dining! It looks like they host local musicians from time to time. The owner was working alongside his team and so friendly! He often treats his customers to his signature sweet wontons (secret flavors!) Our only complaint, and this comes paired with a picky eater. The description of their dishes doesn't necessarily disclose all vegetables/ingredients used. So, some surprises were had! It was delicious and a very minor complaint! We can't wait to visit again!

The Viking egg rolls are very tasty. The staff is very friendly, if a bit light. (It's a challenge right now to have a full staff at almost every food establishment.). The pad thai was fabulous and my husband enjoyed his red coconut curry dish. I ordered mine a 1 out of 5 for spiciness and it was perfect. My husband loves the heat, and thought his 2 out of 5 was perfect. He was given some hot chili spice to add if desired, but he said it was perfect as is. Our friends chose the "drunken noodles" entree and pineapple fried rice. They loved their dishes too. The family that owns this restaurant and works here as chefs & servers deserve our business! We'll be back for sure.

We live in the area and were really craving pho. We typically go to Pho & Boat Noodle because it…read moreconsistently satisfies that craving, but since we didn't feel like driving 30 minutes, we decided to give this place a try since it was closer. We arrived a little after opening time and were seated right away, but it took a little over 45 minutes before our food arrived, which felt quite long considering it wasn't very busy yet. We started with the egg rolls. They were plated nicely and looked appealing when they came out. The rolls themselves were loosely wrapped, which made the wrappers a bit soggy rather than crispy, but the flavor of the filling was actually quite good. We also ordered sticky rice, which unfortunately was not sticky at all. It had more of a regular rice texture. I'm not sure if this is a different preparation style compared to traditional sticky rice I'm used to, but it wasn't what I expected. We also ordered the sticky rice to go with the beef namtok, but it came out with the egg rolls instead of with the entrée, which felt a bit odd timing-wise. The pho boat noodle was the highlight of the meal--9/10. The broth had good depth of flavor and the dish overall was satisfying. One thing that would elevate the experience is having condiments and herbs readily available, such as fresh basil, lime, and bean sprouts served on the side so customers can add them to their preference rather than having them already mixed in. The beef namtok, however, was disappointing--2/10. The flavor profile itself was there, but the beef was very tough and tasted boiled. Traditionally, namtok that I've had is grilled and thinly sliced, which gives it a smoky flavor and more tender texture with the seasoning absorbing into the meat. This version didn't quite deliver that same experience. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but there are definitely areas that could be improved. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. I would also love to see the atmosphere better reflect the style of food being served, as that can really enhance the overall dining experience.

However, because they were still getting things ready and may have not been fully prepared for what to expect, sadly it didn't quite hit the mark for us. Fast forward a year later, we gave them another try. The decor had drastically changed. Let me break this down a bit. The restaurant was filled with mismatched decor and some side activities - jewelery sales, knick knacks of sorts, random grocery items, etc. It gave a vibe of too much clutter. The ambience was a mixture of country, sprinkled with some Asian flare, and a hint of class trying to break through. It felt like too much focused on side items versus focusing on the marvel and delight of showcasing real authentic Thai food cuisine. Which brings us to the food. This was also a mixture of East meets West cuisine - a wide variety of American and Asian options. We had tried appetizers and a few main dishes to get the full experience. We had the sampler appetizers - eggrolls (decent, a bit greasy), the cheese wontons ( good), and jalapeno wontons (different and very good). We had the drunken noodles - it was packed with good vegetables, good texture and consistency, but lacked the flavor I was expecting. It was bland and too simple. The other entree we had was the Beef Laab/Salad. The flavor was interesting - it had more of a fusion flare taste versus the authentic Thai Laab flavoring I was expecting. Also, laab should always be eaten with sticky rice and we were quite disappointed they did not have that as an option. Lastly, we had the Papaya Salad. This is a staple dish and tradition of Thai cuisine. It's tricky to perfect the right mixture of ingredients with the right amount of flavoring. There are also two ways to prepare it-the Laotian way or the Thai way. We asked for the Thai way. It was not as flavorful or spicy as we had expected...yet another dish quite bland. The overall presentation of the entrees were beautiful and it had wonderful ingredients, but it just lacked the flavor of true authentic Thai cuisine. The service was friendly. Our server was very nice and personable. He made the overall experience much nicer and more enjoyable. This place is worth a try as everyone has different opinions and taste buds. Try it for yourself and see what you think!
