She's always smiling and upbeat and genuinely takes interest in your life. She's always quick to lend a hand and goes out of her way to help you in any way she can. On numerous occasions she's assisted me with maintenance requests for filter changes and routine pest spraying, to personally delivering packages when I am unable to walk and get them! She really is what LIV is all about and makes it her mission to ensure LIV is a pleasant and desirable place to call home. In my almost 12 years at LIV, I have had very few maintenance issues, but when I have, the turn around time has been less than a day. You will be hard pressed to find another community that can match that!! The maintenance staff is very knowledgeable and fixes things right the first time. Of course the apartments and amenities speak for themselves. They don't skimp on providing the best appliances, stylish fixtures and state of the art technology for heating/cooling, easy entrance and excellent security. In the time I have lived here I have NEVER witnessed any questionable activities, felt threatened or scared, or had any safety issues. LIV is a nice mixture of families, seniors, students, and working professionals. The diversity is so enjoyable and makes community activities so much more fun. The activities are geared toward everyone. Happy Hour once a month, Yappy Hour for the furry residents, Kid's Club, and numerous fitness activities....these are just a few of what LIV offers to promote community! I don't have children, but if you do, LIV sits in the best school districts in the state; academically and athletically. That's a huge plus for families. LIV is also near many major employers in the Valley such as Intel, Northrop Grumman, and Wells Fargo. We feel that the staff here listens to residents, and does their best to make sure that the property is maintained as marketed. We loved the property and that is why we decided to move here. Also on a side note they use an app for the residents to send out communication to their neighbors. People really seem to like it. We can pay rent through the app, submit service requests, plus receive info from management and a few other features. So far this has been a really great experience. As for the negative reviews I have seen on here, I question the validity as to occupants perceptions. It seems as if the management here at present holds property to high standards, and addresses residents who may be in the wrong. This is a good thing. I've lived places that let things slide, and that is why we left previous apartment complex after 5 years. A sincere thank you San Piedra staff and management for making our community beautiful.

I think I have put in more maintenance request in the first 3 weeks living here than I did at the last place I lived at for 6 years. I was told I had to move within 2 weeks of applying. That really wasn't enough time for me but i still accepted the terms since I had to. The problem is, the apartment wasn't ready for me. First, the ants. I think there was an ant convention and they all came to visit my place. It wasn't until day 2. They took over my bathroom. I had to throw away so many of my products I loved. Day 3 they came and infested my kitchen cabinets. Had to throw away a bunch of more stuff. Day 4 they marched across the walls into my garbage disposal and found a new cabinet to infest. They came out and sprayed and that took care of my kitchen but unfortunately not the ptsd. A week later the ants were back in my laundry room. They added bait and so far it's okay. Onto the next issue, the ice maker. I'm happy to say it is fixed but it took 3 requests for that. Then the alarm system didn't work. That is also fixed now. Then the carpet was sliced open in 2 spots. This is also fixed now. And now the newest thing is my garage door will no longer close and I have stuff stored in there. This happened yesterday. I left a message yesterday. I was told how I can manually close it after I left for work last night. Problem is it doesn't look like you can manually close it with your car parked there. I was hoping someone would fix the garage issue asap considering i have already lost items from the ant issue that was here prior to me moving in. I don't want want my items stolen. I know these are all small things and eventually fixed but that is a lot and is frustrating to always have something else not working. I've been very patient with all the issues and i lost a lot of stuff I paid for with the ants. It's only been 3 weeks but I'm not impressed and hope it gets better here.

Following the grand tradition of celebrating a love of water features in the middle of some of the hottest desert in the US, there's a man made lake that these apartments face and it has a pool which I never used. It's in the heart of Chandler so it's just down the street (by car) from Fry's Foods, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Chase bank and tons of restaurants. I lucked out and got a second floor Venetian floor plan on a corner near the lake which comes out to about 900 square feet for under $900 a month with an enormous balcony, outside storage, nickel brushed hardware throughout, clean carpeting, lots of natural light, and air conditioning. The buildings are all two level with outdoor entrances. Each comes with its own assigned covered carport spot which are a little on the small side so I opted to pay an extra $50 for a garage! You get a door opener and it even has space to store stuff that can withstand heat because trust me, does it get hot in there. But great for your peace of mind if you worry about your trusty car's appearance. I never had a single problem with maintenance or office staff. Everyone was nice as could be and they signed for your packages so you don't have to worry about your stuff sitting outside melting in the shaded but still very hot mailbox area. And did I mention that compared to Seattle or Los Angeles, the rent is actually reasonable? I miss this place and if I ever find myself back in the AZ area, I'm coming here first!

PROS: 1) Office & maintenance staff are amazing! Very responsive and accessible. Maintenence crew go above and beyond, are efficient, professional, great attitudes, trustworthy and truly top notch! 2) Beautiful well kept grounds and 24 hour amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, nice outaide seating and hamocks and such, gym, lots of gas grills, fountains, amazing landscaping that makes me forget I live in the desert, modern stainless steel appliances in the apartment. I unit washer and dryer in a separate small laundry room with some extra shelving like a pantry, garbage disposal, microwave, electric stove, dishwasher. 3) Very safe, quiet, friendly complex. People say hello and are nice but are not in your business. I never really hear sound from my neighbors and they say they don't hear me, even though sometimes I feel I'm sort of loud. I think that just speaks to the quality of the walls and such. 5) I've never had any problems with bugs or pests of any kind. 6) One of the cabinets has a weird angle but otherwise fantastic storage space for a 1 bed! 7) great community events once in a while if you want to participate, but they don't disturb. 8) Wonderful location! Walking distance or short drive to everything you need or could want and more. Beautiful upscale surrounding neighborhoods with parks and small bodies of water (I LOVE and will miss my daily walks when we move!) Chandler is amazing -everything you need close by without feeling crowded! 9) Walking distance to the most incredible, wonderful church, Antioch Community Church. That was a true cherry on top. Please check it out! It's been my home away from home (but still basically at home ) the past 3.5 years. 10) Feels incredibly safe here. I've never felt unsafe in the complex or in my neighborhood. I walk late at night and never feel scared. 11) you can have outside plants as long as they are not on your porch wall. 12) they have services through their app including discounts / connections with a cleaning service. 13) covered parking spot plus literally tons of uncovered guest/extra parking. 14) the look of the apartment itself -granite kitchen counters with a bar top overhang, shower tiles etc are all authentically pleasing and make the place feel bigger. 15) lots of families and kids around but not loud. Very strong community feel. I've noticed much of the community, especially the families, are Indian. I think it's awesome that they seem to have a real sense of community among their families in a beautiful way that I'm not used to seeing. It's fairly easy to make friends here but also easy to keep to yourself if that's what you prefer. 16) The water pressure and ability to make the water super hot in the shower are just AMAZING! 17) Thermostat you control and easy to flip between ac and heat. Fans. A few cons listed below. I really rely on reviews when I move so I want to share these, but no place is perfect. These are honestly more like things to be aware of and tips for whenbyou inevitably make this place home :). Or a few could be feedback points for the mgmt team. The benefits to living here far outweigh the cons and this place deserves the 5 stars!!! 1) The sliding door leading out to the porch is very easy to accidentally close while locked from inside. A guest one time get stuck out in the cold all night long and I didn't realize it (sleeping!). I also one time got locked out with no pants on and no phone and its an upstairs apartment. I recommend SP change those locks but if not make sure you are aware of this and just be careful. 2) We are on the side facing ray road and the street traffic can be loud sometimes, especially when trying to sleep. I would try to ask for the the side facing the front gate or the neighborhood behind us rather than Ray. 3) They do raise the rates every year. 4) You do have to pay for services you might not really use like the garbage concierge and fetchbmail service. I just wish you could opt in to pay fornwhat ypu will use instead of everyone being forced in. 6) make sure you get the gate code and save it in your phone. Once in a while the fobs die and you want the code if that happens after hours! 7) We personally got a drinking water delivery service through nestle that has been much less of a hassle and tastes great. I highly recommend that over the tap. Overall! Stop your search, this place is epic! The leasing office is happy to let residents in, but they close at 5 p.m., making the gym unusable for anyone who works a typical 8-5 or 9-6 schedule. There seems to no urgency in resolving what should be a simple issue. I'm giving three stars because the staff is friendly, but the lack of access to a basic amenity is frustrating.

We actually signed a lease without being able to tour the facility as we were living out of state and this was the only complex that allows three pets on the lease. We hoped for the best and found this place exceeded our expectations. Our dogs love the dog park and we love being so close to restaurants and stores. The complex brings in food trucks most Friday's and plans events for residents and their pets. I am a big fan of the secure package box out front as a past apartment I lived in had all boxes delivered to your door. Most of that stuff got stolen if you weren't home when it was delivered. I am glad to not worry about that here! The front desk staff has always been helpful and pleasant to work with and the maintenance people are prompt in the responses to requests.

We looked all over Ahwatukee, and although there were a few places that tied with Liv, if it wasn't for Alexis, we wouldn't have moved in. From the very beginning, the front staff, especially Alexis, was incredible. She kept us updated on specials, followed up consistently, and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Alexis truly went above and beyond! Now as residents, it's always a pleasure seeing her and catching up. Outside of a few minor things that needed fixing when we moved in, which is pretty typical, the maintenance staff handled them promptly and even left helpful notes for us afterward. The property is clean and well maintained. The location is fantastic - close to grocery stores, schools, and just a short drive to downtown Chandler. The community offers plenty of events hosted by Liv and sometimes by residents themselves, which makes it feel welcoming. The complex itself is beautiful, almost like living at a resort, and the added resident perks make it absolutely worth it. We're happy to call this place home!
