Happy hour menu

Ambiance was decent. Food was good. Service was fairly quick. I have no complaints. Looks like they have a good happy hour too. 3-6pm and then 9-close. May have to come back for that.

TBS Trio

The lighting was a little dark, but overall clean and well maintained. Our waitress, Keyanya was very friendly and gave us genuine advice over the best menu items to order. She was charming and made our time delightful. The Juke box brought comfort to the meal. The spin dip was fantastic and so were the pretzel bites. I ordered the TBS trio, and the whiskey sesame boneless chicken bites were delicious! the downside the sliders were burnt, there were no condiments, and the fries weren't seasoned or crispy, but overall, Keyanya made our time worth it!

Service wasn't quick, it looked like there wasn't many people working but they did all work together to make sure we had a good experience. Got the app tower of boneless wings, mozzarella sticks and pretzels with cheese. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations as well!

The managers are unprofessional. The staff is unprofessional. The manager was drinking with the staff. The staff was struggling to fill orders or even have glasses clean.

Mango Henny Lime

Due to city COVID restrictions, all the restaurants closed at 10pm. Everywhere else's kitchen closed at 8:30 or 9P but Fridays stayed open until 9:30p, thankfully. We popped in at 9p and got seated quickly as there were 2 or 3 small parties dining in as well. Most of the chairs and tables were turned so you couldn't sit down. We found a nice high table and got comfortable. Our waiter, who was also the host, came quickly to greet us and ask for drink orders. This is what I ordered: -Mano Henny Lime: good flavor, I drank it slow because it wasn't really sweet so I could really taste the Hennessy. Plus it was $9 lol. Mango flavoring in alcohol tends to be thick so it was very prominent. Would order it or the Strawberry Henny Lime again. -Bucket of Bones: Good! The food came out super hot and the ribs were tender. I rarely get ribs but the flavor was really delicious and the meat was falling off the bone. The chicken was okay, I was talking and didn't get a chance to taste them while hot. But the sauce on the wings was good. If I ate them hot they would probably be delicious. The fries had a good season on them. I was shocked because I normally don't eat many fries. -Side Salad (forgot to take a pic!): Very hefty side salad. I ordered it dry (no dressing) and the vegetables seemed to be really fresh. Love the crunch I get from a good fresh salad. Came with croutons and shredded cheese. Overall decent meal for having nowhere else to go. Very clean and friendly environment. Would return to this specific Fridays if I'm in the area again.

West End Grill, Naptown -- Unforgiven Edition…read more It's a hell of a thing, killing a plate of green beans. West End happy hour. Adam behind the bar slinging John Dalys for $6.75 like Little Bill forgot to outlaw liquor in Big Whiskey. Then dinner rode into town. Chicken Cordon Bleu: 4.5/5. Moist as hell, ham and cheese doing exactly what God and France intended. Only crime? Needed more sauce. Not enough to hang the cook, but enough to knock half a star off the bounty. Then came the risotto. I believe it was forged somewhere beneath the earth's crust. One million degrees. Molten fucking steel. I tried to approach it. It threatened my family. No rating. By the time that thing reaches an edible temperature, Clint Eastwood will be smiling in a movie. But those slow-cooked green beans? Jesus. Sweet onions, what tasted like some ham-hock sorcery, cooked down until everything knew everybody else's name. I hit them with a dash of Tabasco and suddenly we weren't eating a side anymore. We were settling a score. Top-five green beans I've ever eaten. And understand something: I come from the South. Green beans aren't vegetables down there. They're a competitive sport. I ordered a second damn bowl. Adam kept the John Dalys coming, the happy-hour price stayed ridiculous, and when I asked his favorite movie? Unforgiven. Well, Adam... "Deserve's got nothing to do with it." Except tonight it does. Those green beans deserve five stars, a second order, and their own goddamn horse. Fork around and find out, Naptown.

This time, in April 2025, we arrived around 7pm, and found parking in a garage about a block away, though with better timing we might have parked right out front on West St. This was intentionally a little early for their 8pm live show, and we found a table in the front window, with fun people-watching, and walls lined with a gallery of local artists' works. One of the regulars suggested their generous creative 49 West Salad of fresh greens, cucumbers, tomato, and red onion, with blueberries, apples, almonds, and gorgonzola cheese! An exciting flavor experience! They also, steered us right on 49's Reuben sandwich, with traditional house-made tender juicy corned-beef and melted swiss, with house-made Russian sauce on soft marble rye, with the sauerkraut substituted at my request by house-made creamy cole-slaw. A rich delicious messy sandwich! And well-made drinks: a refreshing lemony minty fizzy Mizuwari with Baraky Japanese whiskey, and their Old Fashion 49 which includes some orange-y Grand Marnier. Both were creative strong and flavorsome takes on classics. Of course they also have a broad ranging menu, especially after 5pm. When the back room opened, we sipped our drinks (and got refills :-) while swaying to one of our favorite musicians, Tom Mitchell, playing this evening with Jim Stephanson as the talented and versatile Blue Rhythm Boys: Jazz, Western Swing, Blues and more, for a $15 cover. It was fun to hear them riff off classics and off of each other, mixing in stories and reminiscences, and this evening sweetly dedicating some to a friend's 75th (more or less) birthday. You just feel at home with them, and we do seek out Tom's performances, and then seek out his fellow musicians next gigs, too, as far off as Columbia and Rockville! A wonderful relaxing evening, with friendly efficient staff, good food, nice locals, and great music.

Glory Days Grill…read more Stopped into Glory Days in Edgewater and everything hit exactly the way you want it to. Food came out fast, hot, and loaded up the nachos were stacked heavy, not skimpy, with real toppings and good melt on the cheese. The ribs were glazed perfectly, tender, and messy in the best way. Crispy onion straws on the side, solid portions, and nothing felt rushed or thrown together. You could tell the kitchen was locked in. Drinks were cold, poured right, and never empty. But the real reason this place gets 5 stars is Georgia. She handled service, bartending, and the whole flow like a pro. Friendly, attentive, fast, and kept the energy right the entire time. You can tell when someone actually knows their craft and she absolutely does. Great food. Great service. Great vibe. Easy 5 stars. I'll definitely be back. I went to Mother's Peninsula Grille one time on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. It was with an Annapolis area based Meetup social group for trivia night. I knew a couple of the people from another Meetup I was in and thought it'd be worth the drive all the way east to here that Tuesday night. Burger was excellent. I got an egg on the burger, yum! Service was good as I recall. Trivia was a lot of fun. We even got a free shot for the whole table for getting a specific question right or winning a round or something. Think it was like a lemon drop. The only issue was that the acoustics were bad for the trivia and was hard to hear the questions being read, so posed a bit more challenging as it was noisy. I'd go back here for trivia or otherwise. However, on a sad note, the very next morning I went to my office and to do some work travel that afternoon. My dad called at 9:15 AM breaking up about our family dog dying. I still did the work travel that afternoon but I was despondent and numb the rest of the day. In spite of the negative of the next day, I'd still go back here as I remember the good food and fun time here.

Full On Craft Eats. The Toast online ordering system was easy to navigate and adorned with pictures of every menu item. I could not get past the onion rings on the starter menu hoping they would taste as good as they looked. My friend offered to split the Slammin Salmon sandwich and onion rings since she has had it before and never finished the entire thing. I took her up on it and the order was placed. A quick ask for mom to grab it on the way home and the food made its way back quickly. WOW is all I can say. When you order food to go there is a level of expectation that it will not be as good as it is at the restaurant, especially fries and onion rings. But in this instance WOW. Talk about food that travels well. Fourteen minutes away and the food was still warm, the onion rings were so crisp, and the garlic and dill aioli and onion ring sauce were just right. The Slammin Salmon was served on ciabatta bread that was not too soft not too hard, with salmon cooked perfectly. The lemon dill aioli was a game changer so much that my friend's advice to order extra was well received and committed to memory. The onion rings lived up to the hype, cooked perfectly with a crust I cannot even explain. The kind you bite into without losing the entire onion from the breading. Dip it into the sauce and you have a match made in heaven. Half the sandwich was more than enough but the next day I would have loved some leftovers. Now for the extra razzle dazzle. I left to visit a friend in DC and sent him the menu, shared my experience and he was locked in to try. Online ordering was closed since they were closing at 10pm so I called as a last-ditch effort since the anticipation was already there. The nicest most warm individual answered ten minutes before closing and was more than happy to take my order. She even made sandwich recommendations. I quickly arrived at a shopping center that was easy to get in and out of. Walking in you immediately arrive at the counter and takeout area to your left with a nice bar area a short walk past on the right. The cooks and wait staff were having the best time using the 6/7 saying that was all over social media late last year. They were considerate when they noticed I was in the restaurant, but I assured them I loved their energy. I see why the food is so good because the energy shows it was made with great vibes and laughter all around. As I grabbed the bag to leave the hostess stopped me to add another fork and extra napkins since I would need them to add the pickled veggies on my sandwich. Such a nice touch. Thirty plus minutes to DC and the food still did not need to be reheated. The Mai Thai sandwich was a hit with flavors that married well and the onion rings delivered again. The Spicy Thai wings were good for wings but typical. They had a lot to compete with. Full On Craft Eats Annapolis, not to be confused with Rockville, is an experience you will want to repeat again and again. Good food fast that travels well (yes that is a thing). A great addition to any table worth gathering at. I did it twice in one day!!
