After scheduling an appointment in person and providing insurance to front desk, when coming in for appointment they claim someone canceled appointment after leaving a message (no message) to only find out the person who made appointment did not update insurance information. Also current insurance is on order that was provided on day of scheduling appointment. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Every time I go there I see the front desk treating people like animals. They talk down to the elderly and people who are vulnerable. If I call for an appointment, they treat me with disrespect over the phone. I will never return there. read more

Waiting now is a problem, it was not too much of a problem before when it was Radiology Associates or Tower.

Scheduled online. Received a confirmation email and text. Front desk advised they couldn't find it in their system, and couldn't honor the appointment because they were fully booked. They rescheduled me at a different location further away in two days. Absolutely don't go here if you need urgent imaging. read more

The way they talk to people and treat patients is unbecoming. Please never send your loved ones without a person that can comprehend well and can be their voice if needed. Don't whisper about a patient in front of the patient, that's rude and there definitely needs to be some profession management classes held. We are all stressed out over the global pandemic but that doesn't excuse you to be unprofessional in any way. read more

spent hours trying to schedule an mri. The "system" stinks, having so many offices loaded onto a single phone system. Spent four hours and still no appointment. Did get a phone call that said our system is down... call back later. Not much help. read more

The technicians were good overall - my low rating is because of the billing. The separated the charge for the procedure from that of the pill you take (as part of the procedure). As a result, my insurance company applied it to my deductible and I paid $210.00 more for this procedure than I should have had to pay. I talked to the billing department and apparently some doctors order that procedure without the pill and so while it may make sense to do it that way from an accounting perspective, it doesn't seem fair to the patient. Just get an estimate before having them do the lab work or consider another provider. read more

I was told to Arrive for a Scheduled Appointment 15 mins prior ...I arrive to a room filled with people After I sign in I was told the wait would be 1/2 to 1hour,because the same Tech does both X-rays n Bone Density test ...I was then asked if I wanted to reschedule!!! Of which I said No ... Tower takes walk-Ins for X-rays ...I was there for Bone Density ..I waited nearly 1hour ..I watched as people went ahead of me without appt. I asked after 45 mins and I was still waiting and was told X-rays that have been waiting will go ahead of Scheduled Appointments...What is the use of making an Appt and then waiting 1hour ..this is my 1st and last experience with Tower Radiology read more

Let me tell you...... going to get tests because of the big C is not fun. However the staff at tower radiology in RIVERVIEW are kind, compassionate and awesome. The office manager Dena is a wonderful, helpful and a caring human being. Getting tests, picking up your records and having qualified staff walk and talk you through your tests makes going through such difficult times much easier. Your Riverview office is outstanding. The X-ray tech here was so amazing with my son. I wish I got her name because she was so sweet and he was nervous and was unsure what was going on and made him feel safe. She gave him smelly stickers after and he was so excited. The lady I spoke to at the front desk was so accommodating the first day I came in she said it was gonna be an hour wait if I wanted to try to come tomorrow she would put me in the schedule since I had my 5 year old. I really appreciated that . Anytime I have been there for a test I've been treated just the same. Love this location. Thank you all for everything you do! read more

Walk-in first come first serve after 14:00 would have been first in had my primary physician sent the referral as they were supposed to have done before I got there so my primary physician made the opps. Other than that that went as well as any other place that runs like a machine in and out ASAP.. read more

I'm not sure what's going on at this place!!! Husband went for an x-ray, was turned away because they didn't understand the x-ray order. My husband called his doctor and was told he shouldn't have been turned away and the order was on the back of the page. We were told to go back and they would take care of him. The doctor's office also said the would fax the order. Day 2, Husband shows up to get his x-ray. We were told the fax machine was down and he needed to call his doctor. Not sure why!! We left and called his doctor's office. We ask the doctor's to call to see what was going on. The doctor office call us back and pretty much said they didn't understand what they were doing. We ask the doctor why were we told to call them. They said the x-ray office could say. Very few times in your life do you leave a place mad and confused. read more

Went in alittle over a week ago for an MRI and today went in for my results. I was greeted very rudely by the man at the front desk. I merely asked him for my MRI results and was given the paper results, I then asked for the disks as well and was told by this obnoxious individual to give him back my paper results in order for me to get the disks results. I'm not a lawyer but to deny a patient access to their medical records, I'm pretty sure is an illegal practice that I WILL be looking into. This establishment needs a class in interpersonal communication skills. read more

My GI doctor needed me to get an MRI done quickly for him. The Tampa offices were full but the Riverview location got me in quickly for an early morning MRI to be done so I was ok with going to this location. Staff was nice and got results to my MD quickly so I feel this is a good radiology place. read more

Went there for an x-ray, took more than 2 hours, been sitting right outside of the imaging room about an hour and half( not including 45 minutes in entrance waiting room), multiple staffs passed by again and again, the looked confused too but never checked on us and kept going for the patients in the entrance waiting room , I asked couple staffs to check on our waiting status, kept being told they were doing the right order, until I 100% sure they skipped me many times and talked to front desk, and then they checked and realized what they did wrong, but they still let the person who was few spots behind me went in first right before my eyes, WTF, extremely unprofessional. Never go there again even it is the closest location. read more

Tower radiology, specifically on Bell Shoals Road in Brandon , Florida is a horrible place to try and do business with and this is not the first time. First of all, try to get thru to them on the phone, it is a good indication of their lack of concern and interest in patients. My wife had confirmed that her records were there before we went. When we got there, she waited 45 minutes only to find out that they did not have her records. After much effort, they finally confirmed that they received them. My wife asked how long it would take to have the procedure. They said they did not know how long she would have to wait but that since her appt had passed that day she would just have to wait and would not even try to give her a time frame, and equally worse, they were unfriendly about it. So her records were there, and now after 1 hour and 45 minutes and not being able to get a confirmed time for the procedure, my wife left and then called back for a second appt, again confirming that her records were there. We went a second time, and guess what, they said they did not have her records AGAIN. They were argumentative about her saying they said they were there the last time and that she had confirmed the records being there when she set the appt. So they went thru the process of getting the records, she had the procedure and this took another 2 1/2 hours before she was finally out of the office. Unfriendly, unprofessional, unorganized and no regard for the time and effort people have to go thru to see them. If you have ANY other choice for what you need done, take it. Very, very upset about this company The leader needs to take charge but that probably won't happen because the culture is already a reflection of his attitude and mindset. read more
