I really appreciate that as the surgery I'm looking at is very serious and I'm sure everyone would like a physician Who listens to the patient's concerns. Shakira was also very kind at the front desk and very helpful and I appreciated that it's very nice to have someone who is able to make you smile in such a serious setting when you're already anxious and nervous. Instead, he takes the time to listen intently to your concerns and symptoms, asking thoughtful questions that show he's genuinely invested in your well-being. It's clear that he's not just looking to treat the symptoms on the surface; he's on a mission to uncover the root cause of the issue. I've been to doctors who simply prescribe a pill and send you on your way. Dr. Dowdy, however, is a breath of fresh air. He takes the time to explain the "why" behind your health concerns, discussing potential lifestyle, environmental, or underlying factors that could be at play. This thoroughness is a testament to his dedication and expertise. He is Definitely a 5 star physician.

I will never again visit another corporate hospital or physician, be it BAYCARE or Advent. Both have treated my spouse and myself as a hamburger on the assembly line at McDonald's.

I have been a patient for a few years. Every time I need a form filled out they want me to be seen…read moreby the doctor. My latest encounter was a medicare form . It was regarding my records. The office just had to mark a check mark saying I have diabetes and heart disease. Then an authorized signature. Signature didn't even have to be the doctor's. They refused to complete this simple records request. They wanted to waste my time and money on an office visit. My diabetes and heart stints obviously are data in my records and there's absolutely no reason to be seen for my past records. Office staff is not that friendly although there are a few that are. So if you're looking for a cheerful friendly greeting, this is not the place for you. As a doctor Joel was polite, respectful , and listened to my needs. Elizabeth, I found to be adequate in her abilities, but my personality and hers didn't gel. She's more of a get to the point person . Joel was more gentle and sensitive, appeared caring.

The lack of concern for patient and consideration to his pain is frustrating to say the least. Dr. Sandhu continued to insist there is no pain here. We are completely infuriated and disgusted with the lack of professionalism this Doctor showed.
