I am a self pay patient. I paid $172 at the onset. Then the next day they sent me another bill for $72 which i paid. Then they sent me a 3rd bill for $117 a month and a week later from the initial appointment. It's ridiculous and appears very negligent on the part of the clinic. Who charges some more random charges over a month later? This should have been tallied up at the beginning especially since i am self pay this through my budgeting off. I tried reaching out to them left messages and when i did get someone she sent me to billing and of course no one answered and i requested a call back - no one ever did. Horrible customer service. I have the best Dr. His practice just joined Millennium Physicians group. Since joining Millennium group it feels like urgency communications had declined drastically. Messages are never relayed to the office. It's intended for. No one ever answers the main line so you are forced to leave several messages. I had to personally drive over to the office to have them put in a message to my doctor on something that needed immediate response to. I was told I would have a response by the end of the day. Never received a call, which tells me they never got the message. I cannot leave because like I said, my doctor is the best. The doctor I see is fine. However, their referral and authorization process is very difficult to get through, inefficient and the staff is not helpful. Everytime I see have to see a specialist or have a procedure done I get hung up in the authorization process, several times have had to reschedule appoints because of delays they have caused. When I have made appointments, so I give them information in plenty of time to complete the authorization process, but they don't even begin until week of the appointment. Now for a current appointment they are telling me their procedure has changed, and they can't accept the information from me , they must have a request from the specialists office including the billing codes which I already obtained and gave to them. They refuse to call the specialists office themselves to get the information I feel as if I am doing their work for them. I will most likely need to reschedule my current appointment which is now just ,4 business days away. This appointment is with a urologist as I have blood in my urine. Dr. Irshad is an incredible primary care physician. She truly listens to all of my concerns, takes her time, and never makes me feel rushed or judged. I always leave her office feeling heard, understood, and completely at ease. She has a warm, compassionate approach that makes a huge difference in how comfortable I feel discussing my health. Her staff is equally kind, professional, and efficient. Appointments are easy to schedule, and the entire office runs smoothly. My experience started off positively, and I was a patient for over two years. I initially saw Dr. Chambers once, at which point I was informed by the staff that she primarily handles physicals. Since I had visited for a sick appointment, I saw one of the frequently changing ARPNs instead. The following year, I finally had the opportunity to meet Dr. Chambers, and I thought she was excellent. I was hopeful that I had found the right doctor for me. After that visit, my future appointments were scheduled for 2025 to ensure I could see Dr. Chambers. However, today, the front desk informed me that Dr. Chambers is now only seeing patients for six-month follow-ups. I am seeking care from a doctor, not an ARPN, which is the reason I scheduled my appointments well in advance. If the office staff's information is accurate and Dr. Chambers made this decision, it may be time for her to reconsider her career path if she is no longer willing to see patients. read more

They lack the minimum education required to answer phones professionally and to do the simple tasks in their job description. These 3 goofy people are incompetent and should not work with the public. Stay away from any doctors connected with Millennium Physician Group. They are a terrible organization. Last year I had two appointments canceled without any notification. I arrived for my appointments only to be told I couldn't be seen and when I tried to reschedule, I was told there wasn't an opening for two months. Not only that, I've been fighting with them for the last 3 months to correct billing issues they've caused. My insurance covers my yearly physical 100% and they are billing me for 50% of it. I confirmed with insurance that they coded the bills wrong. Now I'm being told that if I talked to the doctor about anything other than my blood work it as treated as a second appointment and billed as such. Such fraud going on with this organization. Take it from someone who ignored the bad reviews because of the convienent location, STAY AWAY. They will cause you more headaches than they are worth. read more

I made an appointment three weeks ago to have a preop evaluation as a new patient prior to surgery. I was under the impression after giving my insurance that they would take it, which turned out to be Blue Cross advantage Medicare over the next three I was asked many times if I was going to come to the appointment through email and phone. The day prior to the appointment I was called late in the afternoon and indeed did not take my insurance. They waited the last minute to tell me this when I told him that I would be willing to pay cash. They told me that they do not take self-pay. hard to believe a company would not take cash. Complete incompetence at many levels. The receptionist was not very helpful although she did apologize numerous times she did not go out of her way to help me in any way shape or form. Now my surgery is at risk for not being done because I couldn't get the pre-op. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Tessa Wigger for several years. There is no one else I would see. From the front office to the back. Everyone is great. Dr. Wigger is kind, understanding, and very detailed in her assessments. Her diagnostic skills are spot on. I rarely wait more than 5 minutes. Dr. Wigger has always been available to me and I am pleased we have a great relationship. Alexis is Dr. Wiggers's assistant. I absolutely adore her. I am always welcomed with warm smiles when I come in. She is very kind, asks the right questions, and makes me feel completely welcome. Alexis takes her time with me even though she has many more patients to take care of. She has a loving heart and great skills. Alexis will call me to make sure my meds are filled, and my labs are done and remind me of any upcoming appts. Great assistant! I really like my lab tech as well. Her name is Joanna. Unfortunately since the buyout from MPG this place has gone downhill in the subsequent years. I've been seeing Dr Qazi (she's phenomenal and the only reason I've stayed) for about 10 years. I've seen reviews of others posting negative things about the front staff care and had never had that problem until today. I see exactly what they're talking about. The front staff provides extremely poor customer service. The woman on the phone had a complete attitude and she acted like I was bothering her. I made a curbside appointment and they canceled it **without notifying me**. U called and asked what was up. The answer I got was because "he's not feeling well and isn't seeing anyone today." That's literally what she said to me on the phone, with an attitude. I CHECKED WITHIN AN HOUR of making the appointment. I was ready to start heading up there. I was beside myself. I called back and made a virtual appointment for 3.5 hours later because that's the only choice we had. POOR CARE FROM FRONT STAFF, very disappointed. A millennium is the time it takes for them to respond to requests. I thought the two doctors I saw were very good, but it doesn't matter how great the doctors are when the office staff won't allow you to contact them. I had a critical health issue a few days back, and not only have they been no help, but in attempting to arrange my aftercare following ER/hospitalization, all they managed to do was waste a lot of my time. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the armpits of their complacent, callous, and disrespectful office staff. finding a new Doc since I do not see a Doc when I go there anyway....If I am having a severe health issue I do not trust their opinion..it seems they know less than I do....way too many foul ups and disconcert. First (New Patient Apt) was great. Staff is very efficient and moved me through multiple tests and procedures quickly. Communication is a focal point for the doctor and all of the staff as they explain what they are doing and why. Might be early to say but this practice has a throw Back hometown doctor feel to it. read more

They are under new management and are Millennium Physician Group as of December 2018. Their former name was Valrico Brandon Physicians Group. All the same doctors and no other changes that I can see. They are requiring all people to complete new paperwork. I am excited about this change as they are now incorporating text notifications and allowing online bill pay. This is a huge step in the right direction! With an appointment the wait is not long and the waiting room is nice and clean. Parking as always is a bit cramped, but this is a place in the corner, so it's to be expected. A good group practice we will continue to visit. read more

Though I love my dr within this group their new voicemail system is frustrating. When you call in you are speaking to a phone bank who then tries to connect you to the office. Many times you can play phone tag for days until you receive answers. It is honestly quicker to drive to the office and wait to speak to their office staff. Office Management & Employees - Just there to collect a paycheck, they are not interested in working, taking care of the patient, or in assisting in billing issues ("call corporate" they say) They love to play the blame game (its corporate's fault), don't bother calling corporate - they are rude, bitchy, unresponsive, "its their way or the highway". They don't care if they double bill your insurance (was told "go ahead and try to prove that it was fraud"), they don't care if your doctor is potentially on the line of committing malpractice - "go ahead and sue us" is their attitude and comment. Long wait times in waiting rooms/exam rooms, Heaven help you if you refuse to use their electronic tablet sign in method - you are on their "black list" OHH THEY HAVE BEEN HACKED AND HELD HOSTAGE! sure I want my information available for the next time they are hacked electronically... NOT. Lets talk about the costs - WOW, even with insurance; they are RAPE artists, their average office visit is well over $250.00 (they do NOT negotiate their costs and they will NOT discuss the costs before your visit - its like a big fat Xmas gift gone bad when you get your bill, making payments is not their motto - if you don't pay in full they will send you off to the collection agency! 14 minutes ago I can in with my ear clogged. I explained a few years ago this happened and I went to a walk in clinic and the spent about 45 minutes of the spraying a warm mixture of wat and peroxide in a spray bottle to break up the wax. These people spent 10 minutes using a small syringe with no pressure. So they sent me home with no relief and told me to use an over the counter wax remover for a few days . REALLY!! A doctor's office can't remove simple ear wax!!! And expected me to!?! Then to top it off not only did I have to pay my $25 copay for nothing, they DOUBLE CHARGED MY ACCOUNT. MY $25 COPAY TURNED INTO $50! This was done on June 18 I am still trying to get my $25 back! They say I have to show proof they double CHARGED me! By fax!! Really fax?! Who has a fax these days??? Then I was told to come in. I work the same hours they are open! I am a business owner, they can go back to June 18th and check their batches. They refuse!!!!! So they double charge me and expect me to lose money close my store just to show proof the ripped me off!!!! Bad bad bad customer service!!!! I've been going to see Dr. Rog for a few years and for the first time I have a doctor that will see me when I am sick...right away. Dr. Rog is ALWAYS on time. If you have an appointment for 9am then you better get there at 8:45 to fill out the paperwork because you will be called at 9am. You should know Dr. Rog is stoic and to the point. My daughter has a condition and has been taking THE SAME medication for years!!!! This doctor wants her to come in every two months for an office visit before they will refill her prescription. I just had the absolute worst experience here. I my family has been seeing Dr. Reddy at this facility for years. I took my Grandmother to see him every 6 months. I call to make an appointment and they tell me Dr. Reddy is no longer there. They did not notify anyone in my family that he had left so we could have time to decide who we wanted to provide us medical care. The only choice I had to get her prescriptions refilled on time was to see another doctor there. I made the appointment with Dr Fred Bearison. Since we have had to wait 45-60 minutes past out appointment time the past two visits, I am assured that Dr. Bearison in always on time. This was important as I had to be back at work by 11:30am. We arrive before our scheduled 10:15am appointment. At 10:45am I go up to the front desk to enquire about how much longer it will be. After 5 minutes the girl comes back and tells me she is not sure. Then tells me they are calling her back next. we get to the back and I ask the medical assistant if she could please send the office manager in after she leaves as I would like to express my displeasure with the wait times and such. 10 minutes pass and Dr. Bearison comes in. No office manager. I proceed to tell him that I am not happy with the how Dr. Reddy's departure was handled and that the excessive wait times are unacceptable. What happened next I was blown away by. He very rudely tells me they cannot control what Dr. Reddy does in his personal life and that they are doing their best to pick up the pieces. I tell him that while he examines by grandmother I am going to go speak with the office manager that I already had requested to come into the room to speak with me. I get up to walk out and he starts yelling that I am not allowed to leave the room and that doing so was a violation of Hippa Laws. He goes to grab my arm but thankfully for him he stopped himself. I walk out into the hall and he says young lady you will be forcible removed from this building if you do not go sit back in that exam room. To avoid a scene on front of my 83 year old Grandmother I sit back down. He tries to change his tone and explain the wait times and the Dr. Reddy situation but the damage has been done. He does his exam and looks over her file and drops a bomb that they have been refilling medications without blood work since Sept 2014. WHAT?!?!?!? I have been requesting every 6 months that they send the blood work order to her assisted living facility and they told me they were doing just that. No wonder they insisted she come in for an appointment, They were trying to cover a HUGE overlook on their part. Exam is complete and we leave the very rude doctor. I stop at the desk on the way out and once again ask for the office manager's name to speak to them. She tells me she does not know the name and will go look for them. 10 minutes pass and no one, not even the girl I asked comes back.I left since I had to go to work. if this clinic does not want to handle my complaints internally, I will take them to the internet. I even tried to call them to discuss the matter and they still could not produce an office manager to speak to. We are done with this clinic. I have seen both Dr. Latimer and Dr. Judah and both are so understanding and incredibly patient. They take their time to have actual conversations with their patients and really listen and remember things about you. I have never waited more than 3 minutes in the room. And the doctors have always spent more time with me than I have ever spent waiting. The staff is extremely personable and always take their time to help you as well. I haven't had a better experience with any other doctor I have ever seen, and hope to never have to go to another office. I went with my husband to his doctor appointment at Valrico Medical Group to see Dr. Rog. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful even for being a busy office. But we will NEVER see Dr. Rog again. Yes, he was one time.. at least he has that going for him. He had to be the most Unfriendly doctor we have ever been too. I felt judged and I wasn't even being seen. My husband said "Getting my teeth pulled, would have been more pleasant then sitting there for the short amount of time we were there." If you are that busy that you can not spend a little bit of time with a patient to fully understand why they are coming in.. Then you need to take less people.. He didn't even fully address all of the issues or concerns we came in for. We felt rushed and not cared for. If you are going to this Medical Group as a first time patient I DO NOT RECOMMEND seeing Dr. Rog. I will be telling my family, friends, and the people I work with the exact same thing. A COMPLETE waste of my time. Now I have to spend the rest of my day finding a new Dr. who will actually address the things we went there for. Thanks for nothing. read more
