I went from using a chain pharmacy that I absolutely dreaded dealing with to having a pharmacist who knows my name when I walk through the door. When picking up my meds today, another customer came in and said, "Oh it's Bella's (the pharmacist's) birthday!" I have never written a bad review for a business before. I will be more than happy to adjust this one if the horrible customer service I just received is rectified. I recently moved to this area after working with another pharmacist in Glendale for the past eight years. I regularly take a generic medication, and as you may or may not know, there are different companies that manufacture the generic versions of a given medication. Although the efficacy is supposed to be identical in generics it is widely recognized that they can affect different people differently based on whatever the binders or fillers are in a given manufacturers formula. there are a few different manufacturers of the medication that I take who create a product that works just fine for me. Another manufacturer, however, creates a generic that not only doesn't work for the prescribed reason, but also makes me feel physically unwell. Before switching my prescription to this new local pharmacy, I wanted to check and see which generic manufacturer's version they have available. This morning I called and a courteous young woman named Christine answered. I was put on hold several times as she relayed my questions to the pharmacist. She informed me that "the pharmacist says we get whatever we get, and is very busy and can't take the time to answer any more questions without a prescription." I patiently explained that I did not want to forward my prescription to them without finding out what generics they have in stock this month. Furthermore, I asked if the pharmacist could call me back so that I could explain to her directly. I was told again that she would be too busy. At this point I was pretty shocked, and said that as much as I didn't like to do that sort of thing I was going to have to write a really awful Yelp review, and that I would prefer not to do that. Was there a more convenient time I could call back? At this point (10:07am) I was told I could call at 4 or 5 to ask my question. So, seven hours later. After reading the other reviews for this pharmacy, I was excited to have found a place that seemed solid, professional, and courteous, like Doran Pharmacy on Glendale where I have been shopping for the past eight years. unfortunately, since the pharmacist would not even be respectful enough to return my call or tell me a time to call within the next hour or two, I've had to waste more of my time writing this review. read more

So thankful TFC was open on a Saturday!! It was a super hot Saturday 7/7//18. My son had a 102 fever that wouldn't let up and I ran out of Tylenol. I absolutely loathe going to the neighborhood CVS on overhill n Slauson for anything as small as that. So to have TFC conveniently located across the street from my house, OPEN and so wonderfully air conditioned lol! I was so pleased! The woman (I didn't her her name) was very helpful & sweet! I love the many price points for Tylenol that is offered. I could've spent as little as $3 to make sure my son was ok. That's awesome!! Off brand to name brand with the same ingredients. So super rude! Could barely get a word in while they rushed me off the phone repeating themselves. I was told I had called several times and that they didn't have time for me - when it was my first time calling. I was prescribed albuterol as BOTH a nebulizer treatment and as an inhaler at the ER. Being my first time I didn't know that required a 3 separate prescriptions, for both the nebulizer that TFC sold me, the albuterol solution and the saline which I needed to use to dilute the albuterol into nebulizer. The ER may have forgot to send the saline prescription anywhere however TFC didn't tell me I would need that when they sold me the device which I now can't use. TFC had called UCLA in front of me when I originally bought the device. However when I called today to say I needed to request the Saline prescription, they were angry at me because the ER doctor said they didn't prescribe the nebulizer. There are multiple doctors that treat you at an ER! That's how the world works! Someone there did prescribe the albuterol, but obviously forgot to prescribe the things that go with it. Instead of problem solving and requesting the two missing prescriptions be sent to them, TFC said I'm out of luck and should go pay an urgent care for the prescription. I literally just wanted the phone number they called in the first place so I could request it myself and instead I was Chastised and told they couldn't help me. They tell me CVS can help me, because they're too lazy to make a second phone call. I only called in the first place because CVS said they don't even carry the sterile saline. Sure, I could try and have CVS request it and then transfer it to TFC, but why would I do their job for them, especially after being treated so rudely!!! read more

This pharmacy offers the best service of any pharmacy I've ever been to. Bella, the pharmacist goes above and beyond to help with contacting doctors and assisting in any way that she can. Tfc pharmacy is the best in my city. I will never go back to any other pharmacy like cvs, walgreens, rite aid, cosco, or anyone else. I love my new pharmacist bella that will go out of her way for u and make sure u get all the medications u need on time. They even do deliveries. My husband ian and i are so very happy with our new pharcist bella that we will never go back to any other place. Bella and her son have been so wonderful.
