Ricky is a man of high moral character and these qualities are definitely reflected in how he does business.

They were supposed to be a certified repair dealer. Christian came out and from the interaction I had with him, he was not qualified to work on my appliance. The thought it was the control board (cb) and ordered one. He then asked me to pay for half of the part. (according to Thermadore this should have been a warning). He returned with a cb the following week, however, before he returned I called and spoke to the office manager and explained my concerns about the tech's knowledge. She assured me he was capable of completing the job. He installed the new board and not only dild the oven fans not work, but the two left burners were not working. He told me the appliance was not fixable and I would have to purchase a new appliance. They are $15,000. I was so upset I called Thermadore directly and talked to a service supervisor. She was shocked that someone would tell me that was was my option. I had a rehearsal dinner for my son on the 24th of October and time was running out. She scheduled me a Thermador repair technician for the following week. He came, replaced the part that was needed and did not charge me because of the horrible experience IL had had with Mr. Appliance. Now to make matters worse Mr. Applliance would not refund me the payment on the faulty part that I had paid half for.. Never, Never, Never use Mr. Appliance-this was a dishonest business practice.

First of all, they are…read moreadvertised as being a Weatherford business, but we were informed in our initial call that they are not, so availability is extremely limited. If you have day jobs like we do, good luck! We finally got to our appointment date and had a technician window of 10-12. We both took off work to be available because we needed to watch, ask questions, and understand the issue & appliance we were seeking assistance with. Shortly after noon, no technician had shown up and there was zero communication. We contacted the office and the receptionist who answered was uncaring and unprofessional. She said the technician was running late on their first call. We asked why nobody had notified us and her response was that she didn't realize we had such a tight window. Um...we have the window they scheduled!! It was clear she couldn't care less as she just said well, do you want to cancel? No, we just want a company that values its customers, can fix our appliance, and communicates! Fortunately, we found another company that said they could come out the same day and wanted to make it right and earn our business. What a concept! Of course, we called back to cancel with Mr. Appliance and they couldn't have seemed more bored to hear this news. Bottom line - they don't care about your time, getting your business, or your issues. So do them a favor and don't bother them about it - call a real company that will treat you right.

I looked online for appliance repairs that would service a Samsung dryer, and found that most local businesses didn't work on Samsung. :-/ My next step was to contact Sears, but I knew that the repair would probably cost me at least $300-$400, and after an initial call to them, the soonest they could see me was a week later. I kept looking, and was referred to Matt from another repairman (I forgot his name). Matt called me back within a few hours of my initial call, told me that he was happy to drive out to the mid-cities to help me, and said that it most likely was the heating element - a common repair on Samsung dryers. He also could come out quickly - I called on a Friday and he could come on Monday. When he showed up, I expected that this would be a diagnosis, and if he needed the part he would have to order it and come back. However, he showed up and already had the part with him! We was super courteous and quick - he ran some tests and confirmed the heating element was broken. He even took it out of the machine and showed me the part that broke to confirm. Within a half hour, the new part was in and the dryer was as good as new! He also charged me about $100 less than Sears for parts and labor. I asked him how he got started in appliance repair, and he told me that for years he'd worked for places like Sears repairing appliances, but wanted to branch out and start his own business. I am definitely hanging onto his number in case any future appliances need work.
