Strickland is our go-to for all of our HVAC needs!! When our AC unit went out in the lovely Texas heatwave on 7/22 (aka normal Summer!), Rose was quick to listen to our issues and my comedy around our situation (we have an autistic 6 year old who would've been stuck sleeping in bed with us if we didn't find a solution ASAP). Rose had a technician, Rafael, scheduled to come out the SAME DAY. That is truly unheard of in my experience. We were kept updated on arrival time through a tracking link which is way better than being given a large window of time without visibility into an approximate arrival. Rafael was quick to diagnose our issue and walked through our options (needed to replace the unit which was at end of life), informed us of finance options if approved and even put in a temporary fix so our boy could sleep comfortably in his own room that evening. Rose had 2 wonderful technicians come out to install the new unit the wet next day!!! I'm blanking their names but they were efficient and awesome. We had some issues installing the new thermostat, but again, they put in a temp fix and the new unit was up and running in no time. Another gentleman came out about a week later to install the new thermostat. I'm also blanking his name (sorry :/),but he took the time to walk me through why there was trouble installing it in the first place as well as how to operate the new thermostat, applied some default settings based on his recommendations and made sure my app on my phone was working. Fast forward to today, 9/8, we had an issue over the Labor Day weekend with water leaking through a ceiling fixture (older home, older plumbing, happened before). We contacted Strickland on Sunday and they had another wonderful technician, Duncan, to our home this AM. Duncan took the time to explain to us what was going on with the units and assess as well as diagnose it's a plumbing issue related to the unit(s). He provided us with a reference and we have them coming out at 8 am tomorrow (looks like I'll be doing a review in the near future for them as well ;)). Lastly, huge shoutout to Jeremy. Jeremy is the owner, and I can't say enough great things about him and his team. He took the time to call us and make sure everything was going well. I don't know a lot of owners who care to take the time to do that or take our call on a holiday weekend. We will never use anyone else and will always recommend Strickland to family, friends and strangers. Strickland is like family to us!! read more

Their team or ai systems do coordinate with their scheduling team. In the message chat I got confirmation for 4 pm and it was a no show. I called and the recipient is said there was no reservation. Strickland Heating & Air recently replaced my 25-year-old HVAC system and upgraded the 50-year-old galvanized steel ducts with insulated flex ducting. A four-person crew completed the entire installation within a single day. Technicians Austin, Raphael, Nelson and Alex demonstrated exceptional professionalism and attention to detail throughout the project. Following the installation, service technician's Bobby Dollar and Duncan conducted a final inspection, during which they identified a minor leak at the plenum connection and a faulty TXV. These issues were promptly rectified, and the system is fully operational, with an anticipated lifespan of another 25 years. My experience with Strickland was remarkably smooth. Needed repair to a commercial AC system, had a bad condenser fan motor. Quoted 3X their cost for the motor ($3500, cost around $1100) and 8 hours @ $175 to replace fan and fuses (2-3 hours at most). Were also going to replace fan blades which were new and still had a sticker attached, no damage or reason to replace. I'm a semi-retired engineer and have done AC work in the past, and knew this was excessive and checked prices. Then they lied and said their cost was over $2200 in trying to justify it. Not exactly honest and forthright, and I have their estimate and other prices to prove it, so they can't claim I'm wrong. If you do use them, watch them like a hawk and double check everything. read more

Final cost much higher than what was quoted. Strickland tech charged over $500 to disconnect a mini split AC unit. I was quoted a service charge of $85 over the phone. Work took under 20 minutes. We called to complain and told they would deduct the extra charge if we purchased a new mini split. They quoted $8000 for new mini split. I would not recommend Strickland Heating and Air. read more

They fixed the issue and recommended a few other things. There was no tough sell, just made us aware of issues and let us decide what we wanted to address. My AC was 13 years old and decided to leak its condensation through my ceiling, causing holes and mold to grow. Jeremy and his team went above and beyond to get me fixed up with a new system at a great price and quality within two days. Rafael came out the morning after I reached out to them (approx 9pm the night before) and gave me five different quotes, one for repair and four for varying system complexities/values. His knowledge and experience in this industry allowed me to make a huge decision with very little nerves. The install team came out the next day and by the end of the day had the entire system replaced and CRANKING. It used to take HOURS for my system to go down a few degrees. Within one hour of them turning it on, it had gone down over ten degrees. They left my home clean and my mind at peace. Jeremy came out and checked the system once it was installed and even helped me find contractors to fix the damage my old system made. Also, the quoted price was less than those than actually provided a concrete number and competitively priced against those that didn't. Makes me wonder when a company has a perfect rating....I think they are vetted and don't allow fairness and honesty. I had a poor experience from a service call a few weeks ago. Techs showed up late, which coincided with a virtual doctors call, didn't resolve or provide guidance on the issue I called about, one Tech kept trying to upsell the maintenance plan that I never knew they had or never asked for and claimed I requested it, said they would tighten the base of the unit because it was loose and told me that he stripped out one of the bolts and stopped. Then quoted me $377 to fix all four bolts, by retapping and new bolts. I said no thanks. When putting panels back on unit they forgot to resecure five of the machine screws, forgot to turn the power back on and left my inside thermostat set high. I made a inquiry and owner called me but I wasn't available, I called him back within an hour and twice later and secretary assured me he was aware of it and will call back. I get he's probably busy but he never did. The only reason I'm leaving a three star rating was that the owner did make an attempt also I probably got their C team. The unit has been repaired by another company. read more

We used Strickland heating and air. They did a great job and are local to Azle. Fast and fair prices. They came out that same day and cost $100. This was lower than expected. We chose them from several local recommendations on the Next Door App and the Facebook Azle Residence page, and their 4.8 rating on Yelp. 80% of Azle, TX HVAC companies have 4.5 to 5.0 ratings on Yelp. That is good but unusually high for most areas. Azle is an amazing Community. Strickland has a lot if great competition but still seems to shine brighter that everyone else. Very happy. read more
