Let me start by saying, I LOVE the ladies who work here. It's got a great vibe, and it's very clean. I've been a member for a year and a half, and haven't once met an unfriendly face. That said, they randomly closed almost a week ago and told us nothing. There's a paper sign on the door and a generic FB message citing "circumstances beyond their control." Have written to them, called multiple times... no response. I get it, things happen sometimes... but many of us are on recurring monthly memberships and pay a decent chunk of $ for a service we cannot use. I've disputed the 1/2 month charge that I'm out because of the sudden closure, and have reported to my CC company that no other charges should be allowed BUT I shouldn't have to do this. Someone should tell us something. There's a loyal customer base waiting for answers. Guess we have to take our business elsewhere... read more

We spoke with Avery, but phone prior to service, she gave us good information about a special rate they had going on in their shop. The young lady at the counter was nice, and genuinely seem interested in her job. She was not playing on her phone when she was speaking with customers. She also advised that if you have eczema, that their spray tans did not cause it to flare up, which was very good information as well. The shop itself was extremely clean and neat. First time here was yesterday. Have been looking for a salon since I moved here. The salon was spotless clean I was helped by a young blond lady 《didnt catch her name) she was knowledgeable, friendly and very sweet. She helped sign me up for my package and took her time to help me find the right products I needed. The other young lady with curly dark hair was cleaning rooms as soon as customer's were done with them. The salon was pleasant amd relaxing. I filled out paperwork and was then shown to my tanning room and was walked through how to use it. Customer service was great. I will definitely continue to be a client. Well done read more

First tanning salon I've ever been too and I'm obsessed ! The staff is super friendly and helpful with any tanning questions/tips you might have. There's an amazing variety of tanning lotions to choose from and they always have the most popular high quality lotions you could ever want and reasonable pricing for memberships & lotions !! The tanning salon is always very clean and the tanning bed rooms are very welcoming and pre-sanitized for the next use & the beds are super high quality and relaxing! High turnover of staff during my 10 months, 7 new faces. Owner failed to mention cancellation requires 30 day notice, and i specifically asked before signing up 10 months ago, i asked 4 business days prior to that months draft, she basically said look at the contract, (it was in contract, but not sure why she failed to answer truthfully when i specifically asked initially?) She initially said as long as it was before draft, after 4 months, she would honor it, she lied! 10 months later here i am and she basically decided not to honor her initial word, so i had to stay another month as per contract, wasnt happy about it cause i wanted to take Dec off for extra xmas cash, but oh well, then she responded if i suspended my account instead of cancelled it would have been fine, and turned off reply, so that i couldnt respond. Well i added my response to the bottom of my review on fb, that it was also untrue because that would, according to contract, require 15 days notice, (picture below) well next day i go to tan (since i was drafted for that month), as i was exiting, she screamed "here, take your pro rated amt of money back, and never return to my business, im gonna call the cops, you are rude bla bla bla...." did i mention i was exiting when she called me back in? Lol total nutcake! bottom line she doesnt like to get called out, has to have last word, she goes from overly nice to crazy nasty! Either way im happy not to have to go another month, but if you choose to join draft, here is your honest run down: -you have to be a member for 4 months before you are allowed to cancel. -If you want to cancel be sure to give 30 days notice and keep a copy w the date on it. -if you have to suspend be sure you give 15 business days notice. Dont go by her word go by contract! She will not honor her word then act like your nutts for asking her to keep her word. Morgan i have your message stating that i could have just froze it wo financial penalty saved in my phone. And that is a lie because look at the contract it states i needed 15 days notice so you gave me false info. And i also have a speech from you saying you go strict by contract, then a message saying you give acceptions, bottom line i wrote this so people know you arent solid w your word so go strictly by contract to avoid bullshit read more

First of all this new management is next level their deals are amazing the workers are an absolute joy to speak too, I tan there frequently and haven't had issues with the establishment in all my time being there except maybe not being able to afford some of the cuter bronzers, but under this new management I've been offered new lotion deals, the beds have had improvements like new lamps installed and even give us members free vitamin waters to put a cherry on top of it all. The look is better, the music finally switched up and they're all just super friendly people honestly if you were looking to tan this is definitely the place too start. read more

I went this past week and found the place newly updated since I had tried them in the past but the experience was no better. Last year I had gone after hearing there was new ownership and found the experience to be sub-par. The beds are old, prices were overpriced and anytime I went the staff was always standing around talking or not able to pull themselves away from their phone when you walked in.I recently tried it out again and the staff member talked so fast I couldn't grasp 1/2 of what her directions were, the spray tan seemed to come out different in each side and now is blotchy and looks horrible! I look ORANGE and SPLOTCHY. I later found out the salon wasn't even supposed to be open against the Covid19 orders, so they were operating against state policy. New paint doesn't make up for a poor establishment. I will not be going back. read more

A nice salon that is consistently kept clean. Convenient location away from high traffic. Always has friendly ladies at the front desk. Variety of services offered. They frequently run specials on lotions too. Their spray tans are the only kind that won't break out my sensitive skin. The only reason I didn't give five stars is due to pricing. This place is great! All the remodeling that has been done really changes the look and feel of everything. I remember what it used to look like under the previous owners and it looked and felt like a nursing home! Probably because the previous owners were old and gross! Pricing has been lowered and you get more offered in packages, which is really really nice! You can tell that the employees there are much happier!! They are all very helpful and very well trained!! So it has been over a week since the owner got in contact with me in regards to my account being over charged for the tanning membership I cancelled in May, was told that a refund was going to be issued but nothing has been done and once again I am getting the run around from the salon staff and the owner is not communicating at all when I have reached out to his personal cell about my refund (but on my first review he stated a refund would be issued and also sent me a text message saying that a refund would be issued). If I could give this business negative stars I would, the owner and employees are unprofessional and no one can keep their word. read more

I have come to this salon for a machine spray tan about 3 times now. Always clean, the staff is super fun and helpful, and the prices are decent. The only thing I have noticed is that only one of my legs gets tan in the machines, but that could very well be a "me" issue. I wish the tan lasted a little longer, but for the price, it is fair. Overall really good tanning salon with lots of beds. Will come back to this place time and time again because of the atmosphere and cleanliness. read more

The atmosphere appears nice with newly painted rooms but underneath it's basically still the run down tanning salon that it was a couple years ago. Their beds are mediocre and the ones I went in were old. I have used the basic 15 min and stand up. I tried this location in HH bc it's close to my house but they lost my business after  coming out of the stand up and realizing there was a used cloth in the top of the rack from someone else! Now I question if they clean in between or just stick the sign back up. The prices are also high for what you get yet being at one point he often gives away free sessions bc the salon is so unpopular. The monthly prices for their beds are too high and definitely not a deal compared to other salons and what you can get elsewhere. The stand up is super cramped and out in the center of their hallways. All beds are super basic and don't play music or have any upgraded features. I looked at their other reviews and notice that any review that would be considered  "unpleasant" to the salon are coincidentally accused as those people never actually going there, how convenient for the salon. read more

The staff was very helpful as I needed to pick out a plan to get tan before my wedding. They took the time to help me decide on which lotion and which package would be most cost efficient too. This location also has many different beds to choose from. read more

Very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful staff. Helped me find the lotion/bed combo that worked best for me. There is hardly ever a wait and the beds and rooms are always clean and welcoming. Goggles, a hand towel and a little piece of candy are already in the room waiting for you. read more

With only 2 weeks to my wedding, I showed up to Texas Tan to see if there was any way they could help me fix my color (I was very pale and wearing a white dress that didn't look right with my color) and lines. The facility was very clean and Morgan was an amazing help, true professional. She fit me with a package that was perfect for my budget and on my short timeline. New ownership...only ONE bed available for monthly membership all others are $3.30 upgrade. Now required 3 month contract. Beds do not tan well....I go at least 4x a week, I barely have any color. All the products sold are way over priced. Also, the hours posted on thier website are not the true hours. I drove all the way there just to find out they close one hour earlier then listed online. I have come to Texas Tan for a couple years now and plan to again this year. I always buy the monthly pkg that includes all beds. The price is outstanding, if the stand up is busy I can then opt to go into any bed I want. I have never been disappointed in the results. Staff has always been very helpful and very knowledgeable. Although the customer service was OK, the service that they provided after i had a complaint was not so. I used the Versa spray tan and came out splotchy. I asked them what they could do for me to fix this mistake and they tried to blame me for the mistake. I went by every direction that they gave me, to blame a customer is extremely inappropriate. I will never be going back to them, are recommending them. read more

It is sad to see how much this business has went downhill since new ownership a few months ago. The previous owners took pride in customer service, a relaxing spa like atmosphere and amazing employees. It is now going downhill fast. I will drive to Belton before going back into what used to be my happy place. All the positive reviews are from when the other owners owned it. None of those positive reviews apply now. read more
