Excellent experiences at this tanning salon. The equipment is high-tech and sanitary, and the staff has been unfailingly friendly and happy to help explain their different services. That said, they don't pressure you to upsell or buy additional products, which I appreciate. The location's good as well. Plenty of parking and they're inside a shopping center with a Cost Plus, Tuesday Morning, and other stores that are great to visit afterwards. Visiting before 10am seems pretty well guaranteed to get you in immediately or only after a short wait. read more

I came to tan in a level 5 just like I do in Houston but their "policy" wouldn't let me. Went to tan it all down the street instead.

Disappointed in PBT. I was a member at this location for a year around 2020. Never really had any difficulty just came in spray, tan, tan, and even vibration plate. Service was good. Management was excellent. I returned last month, and made the mistake of signing up. When I went to spray tan, they did not say that you wouldn't be able to get a dark without paying extra. You also had to pay extra if you didn't want to be orange. The membership is a lot of money and then to charge five to $10 just for it to look good is absolutely ridiculous. They honestly did not care at all and did not offer to help anyway. I ended up paying $100 for two spray tans. Will not return management is not good and the company, nickels and dimes you. read more

I didn't her name but she was really blonde and about 5'5 and thin. She was a bit older than me and I'm 31. But she put me in the one that is like the Sun angel but it isnt. It technically was the model before the Sun angel. Those facial tanners get sooo hot Omg. I had to turn them off. I have Native American heritage so if I burn I turn beat red and I'm tan the next day. I don't know if they are new bulbs in that bed or what but I did burn a little I was grateful it wasn't horrible tho. I didn't even notice it until I was unusually cold in my Apt while it was like millions of degrees outside. I did appreciate her advice. There was no way she would have known I was going to burn. I didn't even think I was going to burn but I did. I'm ok tho and I ain't mad about it because a little after tan lotion and some tan extender keeps me looking fresher than ice read more

AYEEEE I should have been spray tanning this whole time. man ive been so pale for nothing. I am a freak anti aging so...I have been using the the self tanning lotion which looks good im just so lazy you really have to spread that on there perfect....even then you can still end up with Oompa Loompa hands...cringe...........anyway SO I was like ight lets see what up with the spray tan. I know its expensive and doesn't last long, but being tan can totally change how you feel about yourself. you look thinner, leaner, it kinda covers imperfections, and even that kind of confidence can go a long way. So At first I was gonna spend around 60$ including some extra tanning tools (I bumped off the one star because the exfoliating glove SUCKS, not to be a jerk. its just not..."exfoliatey" that is 100% constructive criticism, im really not trying to be a jerk. So back to the story, then I was like wait tell me about this "membership" I immediately denied 5 mins prior. Then I saw that I could tan once a week for 10$ more. yeah they got me haha. anyway so I wanted to talk about Angela I believe her name was, she is AWESOME. so she customized the tan for me, after looking at my complexion, you can tell she knows what she is doing. She was also pretty pumped about it.. I had to be trained how to use the machine even though they have a video...I had trouble with that... but she went over it with me until I could repeat it back to her. Then I kinda made a mess...couldnt open primer packet with my hands so I bit it, didnt work the first two times then the 3rd it exploded in my mouth and on the wall and tasted like, wayyyy worse than you would expect, so maybe get the corner snipped before you go in....anyway then it took me a really long time to finish preparing so by the time I was done the machine stopped responding to the red button, I had to have looked all over for another, I felt sooooooo stupid but finally I kinda had to peak my head out the door and Angela came and fixed it...got the tan... saw instant glow, but I wished I wore loose clothing. have you ever put clothes on when your body is kinda wet? yeah it feels super gross haha Next time I go I am going to bring my own exfoliating brush, its considered a "dry" exfoliation. brushes are really good to use and you know you are really exfoliating because you are actually brushing off dead skin cells so you can get penetrated with a deeper tan. sorry guys....I obviously love you but part of this is for constructive feed back! by the way, my tan so far looks really good. ill post pics...after I take some cute selfies. it looks pretty natural I dont smell all fake tanny... This place is brand new, but I've been with Palm Beach Tan for a long time now. I'm so excited they opened up a salon here in Cedar park. It's so convenient! The staff are all super cute and friendly :) This salon looks soooo nice inside, all the beds are brand new so you seriously are going to get super tan- trust me! I highly recommend PALM BEACH TAN in general but this specific shop is my favorite. I get such an awesome tan in a really cool atmosphere. All of their products are high end, great quality. They only carry the best brands- I have SO many of their lotions, face lotions, spray tan products, facial serums, etc. I guarantee you will get a freaking awesome tan and you will love it here. I love this tanning salon! I only use the sunless booths here with the unlimited diamond membership package which includes their versa pro booth. The versa pro is super high tech and awesome. Love it! The staff is really friendly and helpful too, especially the manager. What a nice guy. They never pressure you to upgrade or buy products you don't need either which I appreciate. I used to go to the PBT location in circle c before I moved up north to cedar park and this location (cedar park on 183) is way nicer! Highly recommend plus it's close to so many other stores so I can get all my errands done and tan all in one swoop read more

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but I feel like I should share so others have this information before they get hooked into a monthly membership. I have been getting spray tans for about 15 years, so I am well aware of what to expect and how to prepare and maintain tans. To start with the positive- the salon is nicely maintained and the girls at the front desk are sweet. I previously went to a great tanning place in Cedar Park that, unfortunately, closed, so I had to find a new spray tan location. I signed up for a monthly deal of $14.99 for one spray tan per month. Not a bad deal (still not as good as my previous salon but better than most). The first time I went, they said that I had to pay an additional $15 to use the Versa spray tan booth. Wait, what?! That was never mentioned to me before I signed up for the monthly deal. I paid the extra fee and got a decent spray tan, although their mixture is not quite as good as my previous salon (a bit darker and more orange)l The next time I went, I didn't want to pay the additional fee, so I went with the other spray tan booth that was included in the price. I am very pale so I asked for "light". It had ABSOLUTELY NO COLOR. I couldn't believe it! I've never had that happen before. The color was completely nonexistent. The next time I went, I asked for "medium". Ugh. WORST SPRAY TAN EVER. I was streaky and orange. I had to wear long pants and long sleeves to cover it for the next week. Totally embarrassing and a complete waste of money. I canceled my membership and have one more spray tan left (have to give 30 days notice to cancel). I have no choice but to pay extra for the Versa again because it is the best of the worst. I'm sure it's a fine place if you're using the regular tanning booths, but it has been a terrible experience for spray tans. My search continues for a decently-priced spray tan experience! read more

I was absolutely clueless about how the spray tans work and what shade to pick for my skin tone. I had so many questions and concerns that Lauren answered for me so well and was very patient with me too. She showed me which shades would look best with my skin tone and explained each machine and how they worked. She told me about all the memberships that are available too! I would definitely come back to this palm beach tan. You will never go anywhere else where you get people who actually break the whole spray tan process down and help you along the way.
