Incredibly clean facility, state of the art offerings, and Vanessa (who I think she said usually works the Georgetown location) knew her stuff inside and out, without hesitation and was incredibly helpful... so much so that after several years of being away, my husband and I are now going to be regulars again. I tan before vacations, which means I don't go very often and tend to feel like a new comer every time. Because of that, I never really feel the need to be loyal to any tanning location in particular. This location changed that. The place is always clean, friendly, and welcoming. Lisa always makes me feel like I'm an old friend that she's happy to see, even if it's been months since the last time I came by. She treats everyone like that and it's really refreshing to see. So this location use to be Waterloo Tan but Palm Beach Tan just bought them out recently, and I will admit I am super excited! I have nothing but great things to say about PBT! Thw first time I visited this specific location was the other day, and I am very impressed!! It is very clean and organized. The selection of lotions & tanning products is amazing! They have 5 levels of UV tanning beds, as well as spray tan booths. I highly recommend getting your tan here! The main thing i wanted to point out about this specific location is the employees! The girl who helped me at the front desk was literally one of the sweetest, most helpful employees I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with at PBT! Is there an award for the worst PBT location? Beds are broken and not fixed for lengths of time. After this being the third instance of horrible (not to mention brainless) customer service and weeks of broken beds I felt this review would be appropriate. Put into a room that the girl admitted after I got in the bed she knew it didn't work, then put me in a room someone was already in then told me she had no more rooms for platinum level beds and I wouldnt be able to tan at another location. 30 minute experience of bs. Bottom line, tanning is a luxury we want a seamless relaxing experience. Get it together. read more

Being a huge fan of spray tans and tried tan etc for years, I was really impressed by the quality of my tan from Palm beach. I did the versa pro and was so amazing by how long the color lasted even after showering. And the front desk girls were so helpful and honest, I mean come on here, no one wants to walk out orange! They didn't try to sell me on any additional services or lotions and were honest about what additions were worth it. Let me tell you- $12 pre tan lotion was SO worth it Thank you ladies! This is my new go to for spray tans! And they have awesome hours and are open late! read more

I was at the University location today and witnessed the manager of this shop speaking with a customer in the waiting area about a negative review she had recieved from a prior empoloyee at this location. I felt it completely unprofessional and inaporpriate for her (Amy) carrying on in this manner for customers to witness. She has no management skills visible at all while she is carrying on like she did today. This location needs help from upper management to get control of the shop. There have been some great employees at this location that are no longer there. I have been using Palm Beach for years and have never seen such poor mangement behavior on complete display for customers to see. I hope to see some changes in the future for this location. read more

I have recently temporarily relocated (I will only be here for two to three months) to Austin, Texas, from a different state. Before I moved here, I checked in with the PBT where I resided to make sure my PBT sunless membership would transfer over to Austin locations. I was told that it wouldn't be an issue and that I would just have to tell the Austin location that I had a PBT 1Sunless Tan Membership in a different state. Well, I entered this Round Rock location and had Amy scan my app. Amy couldn't find me in the system, so I explained my situation (that I'd be living in Austin for the next two to three months) and that I wanted to temporarily transfer my membership to the Round Rock location. Amy looked on my app to see if she could figure out why she couldn't find me in the system. She saw that I was signed up for the 1Sunless Tan Membership and told me that only Premier Memberships could be transferred between states. She apologized profusely for the misinformation that I was provided at my previous PBT location. She was so sweet that she gave me a courtesy spray tan as an apology. While I was getting my spray tan, I was thinking, "I want to reward Amy's exceptional customer service. How can I do this?" When I walked out of the spray tan booth, Amy was with a customer, and there were two other customers waiting. I observed how friendly and professional she was with these customers -- she knew their names and what services they wanted. When she finished up with the three customers, I told her that I wanted to buy a spray tan using the Halloween special. She created a new profile for me, and I bought a $20 spray tan. She told me that the tan expired a week from purchase, which I was totally fine with. She was so friendly throughout the entire process. I left and was about to drive off when my phone rang. It was Amy calling to tell me that she had given me incorrect information. The spray tans don't expire for thirty days! I appreciate her admitting that she made an error, and I came back in to buy a package of three spray tans. This location is so lucky to have Amy. She could have dismissed me and my situation. Instead, she saved a PBT customer through her wonderful attitude and customer service. She was so welcoming and made me feel like a friend! read more

CJ has turned this salon around! I moved from cedar park where I got to experience his upbeat, charismatic, caring personality! I loved that salon. I moved to round rock and this place was the darkest, most unfriendly, awful place to walk in. I remember going back to Cedar park and telling CJ of my experience there. All of a sudden I walk in the University round rock location and there CJ stood. The place has come ALIVE. CJ welcomes everyone with open arms , smiles, positivity and love! Just what every business owner wants when customers enter their business! He has changed this location! I now look forward to coming to tan at Palm Beach! I will refer to this location forever as long as I have a phenomenal front desk manager that makes the experience FANTASTIC EVERY TIME I walk in the door! I went with my mom today (b/c she was too nervous to go alone) to get a spray tan, and we went to Palm Beach Tan at the University Oaks location, AND I AM SO HAPPY WE DID!!! The person who helped us, Amy, literally explained EVERYTHING (even down to teaching my mom the tanning poses), and she couldn't have been nicer or more patient, despite being the only one there working and simultaneously helping other customers as they walked in. The best part of Amy was that she considered my mom's skin tone and helped her decide the right package to initially sign up for, and it was the third option, which was one of the less expensive ones. She could've taken our ignorance and had us sign up for the most expensive package today, but I really appreciate Amy caring more about what's best for her customers instead of what just makes more money for their business. Although I didn't tan today, Amy was so great she has really made it hard for me to not sign up next time I'm there. Thanks , Amy, for your patience and kindness helping my mom. She looks awesome and totally natural, just like you said she would!!! YOU'RE THE BEST, and if you are hesitant about spray tanning, go and see Amy at the University location!!! I love this Palm Beach Tan location. It is always clean and has better equipment than the others nearby. Who wants to pay more for a dark tan spray when you already pay $$$ per month? They just went through a management change almost a week ago I've been back to visit a few times since then and 100% love the changes of the atmosphere at this location ! They have always had super sweet woman and men working but being a prior tanning salon attendant I'm a little more picky about service quality !
