I went to this location yesterday to tan. Paid almost 19 bucks for a level 1 bed. You would think I would've gotten the 20 minutes I paid for...instead the bed was set at 10 minutes and the girl at the counter didn't really seemed concerned. As usual if it's not your buck typically there's no care involved. So I paid almost 2 dollars a minute to tan. Honestly pretty disappointed I've been tanning with this branch for a long time. I canceled my membership last year it's honestly it's a nightmare to get the contract canceled. So I opted for a single tan. if you work in 48 states Like I do... You'll discover .... every location is different. You never get what you paid for. Every location is a franchise and they're all different so if you have a maxed out package walking into a new location they will not give you what you paid for you'll get mid tier at best. Somehow in the future I wish you guys could get a system that would collaborate and tie all your franchises in. That way your customers truly get what they paid for instead of copious amounts of disappointment. Please do better. read more

Due to having to moving out of town I had to cancel my membership at palm beach tans in Waco, Texas. I had only tanned once which was the day I came in and started the membership back in 2020. So when I called to cancel, they said I had to come in person to do so, but they could freeze my account over the phone until then. I didn't want to agree to that but I had no choice since they said I had to come in person to cancel. So after almost a year or so I came back to Waco to visit family. So Only then i was able to go in person to cancel my membership. I was told they needed my signature and a credit card to do so. I thought I was getting a refund or perhaps I had to pay a fee for canceling. At that time I was being charged $8.25 a month to have my account frozen since I was unable to come in person. So fast forward to more than a year later, I realized palm beach tans had started charging my account $28.55 a month since the day I came in to cancel the membership. I called several times over the last year to have them cancel that membership and ask how did this happen? I was told again that I would have to come in person to cancel. Months later here I am back in Waco to visit family. I called to ask when I go up there if they could refund the money since I was told last year that when I came in to cancel the membership (because they wouldn't let me cancel over the phone) they started charging me $28.55 instead of canceling the membership, and was now told they need to talk to their district manager. So now I'm waiting for a call to see if I can get a refund and when I go up there make sure they are actually canceling the membership instead of charging me more money for a membership that not only I did not use, but was told I was canceling over a year ago when I came in person to cancel! read more

I called twice on two separate days before I drove up and they promised my first tan was free, no strings attached and I didn't have to sign any contracts. I get there and suddenly it's $35 ??? Wish they wouldn't have completely lied over the phone, would've saved me a trip read more

Dani is the absolute worst manager there is. I would not use this location. They do not know how to communicate billing options and at which date the money will come out of your account. I love the tans I get here but dealing with her has made me just want to be pale. She has no tact and makes you feel like shit. The money is just not worth it. If your looking to get a tan I recommend any other location but this one. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could! I bought their most expensive package that included their 4 "Best Beds" & EVERY bed had something wrong with it. One bed stayed on too long because the timer was broke, another bed had issues with the "face tanning", the next time I went the fan did not work, and the 4th bed I tried had issues with the music. I went 4 times & I had 4 issues & each time that I told someone they just shrugged & said "sorry, try a different bed next time, we have 4 beds to chose from at this level." After trying all 4 beds I decided to speak to a manager & that was a complete waist of time so I quit going after that & had to eat the cost of my membership. I notice that 2 people gave them a great review so maybe I just had really really bad luck, but I would be very careful & I would recommend testing their equipment FIRST before paying for a membership!! read more

After asking for my account to be put on stay and save well before the date I needed to, I was charged the following month not only my normal monthly fee but about $20 over what I should have been charged. After reaching out, I've received no response from the company. I would love to be able to give a great review that reflects all other customer service I received prior to being overcharged and charged after putting my account on Stay and Save. read more

Brand new location so it's nice and fairly clean. The beds are awesome and the lights are hot. The lady who checked me in was fairly knowledgeable about the bulbs and assured me when they change the bulbs they change all of the bulbs. Which is great. Today my bed wasn't entirely clean but I carry wipes with me when I go tan. Lotion is rather expensive I did buy a bottle but she didn't push hard on the products like a lot of places do. As some one who tans frequently, you know how it feels when the lights are on. Level 3 unit I was in did not heat up so I looked and counted 18 of the bulbs were darkened in sporadic places. Told the counter worker and was informed that maybe I didn't know what they should look like as she checked in the morning (at least 6 hours before I used the unit). 5 hours later, my skin shows no sign I went tanning. Very unhappy with the attitude of the worker and the fact that I spent 27.00 for a tanning session in a poorly kept unit that did absolutely nothing. I will not be returning. read more

The staff is the absolute best! I have tried many tanning salons and this is leaps and bounds above all the others. Most places have similar beds and spray tan booths and theirs are as good as they can get. What makes this place stand out though is the incredible staff! They are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond for their customers. I can't say enough about how incredible they are!! read more

First of I have SPRAY tanned for years, I have a lot of cancer in my family so in my mind I think spray tanning is better. I have visited another Palm Beach in a different city and had no issue, main reason I tried the one in Waco. I have now visited this specific one twice. Both times I informed them that I wanted to walk out of the business tanned.. As they say there "with a boost" Neither time did I do that. I was told yesterday that they were having "issues with their machine".. Nor did my tan ever develop, Im just as dark as I was when I walked in. Extreme waste of time and money. I have gone to TANtastic and never had an issue. I was tan walking out and stayed tanned for a full week and a half. Palm beach is double the price of tantastic so I was thinking Palm beach would be so much better WRONG! I would not recommend them to anyone! Beside the store manager "Kayla" is very rude. If you want an awesome spray tan at a good price go to TANtastic. read more
